Amused At The Content

The weather was surprisingly chilly nowadays. Aizhe knew that best as she wore a tight blue jeans that reached till her ankle and paired it with a sweatshirt. To cover up from the chilly wind, she put on a oversized brown coat.

She went towards the main gates and it opened automatically when she reached there.

She was running towards the other side of the road to grab a taxi. She didn't want to ride in the Li cars as it reminded her of her statues. She wanted to depend on herself and not give anyone a chance to point a finger at her.

Just as she was about to take a step forward, her phone dinged. Aizhe grabbed her phone and she looked at it in a hurried manner.

Her eyes bulged when she noticed the amount of messages piling upfront.

She was added in a group chat!

The Ah siblings along with Brother Lu and her were in a group chat. The messages kept sending and she was amused.

She hadn't really talked with them for the past two days and she really missed them. They were the only people she knew in A City and they also made her feel special. In a short span of time, Aizhe and the Ah family made such a strong bond.

It was perhaps more stronger than her own family. She felt their happiness and shared their sadness too! She felt happy for them and sad when they were sad. She couldn't believe that the Aizhe who was always labeled as the 'awkward girl' in the class was now a friend of the Ah's.

For her, friendship was sharing, loving and knowing everything about that person. She never really valued materialistic matters. She loved a person for how he is from the inside and not who he was from his appearance.

For her, the Ah siblings weren't her friends because they were the Ah, but rather people who always pulled her out of her problems and helped her.

Although they were now even in terms of helping, Aizhe's heart didn't allow to leave them and go on her own. She wanted to be with them, to know them and spend time with them more. She enjoyed spending time with them.

Aizhe chuckled at her thoughts. She saw a taxi on the standby and dashed towards it. She flagged it and immediately got in.

Once inside, she felt the warm air engulf her and she breathed out breezy air.

Aizhe was living in here for one month now and she had yet to cope with the weather in A City. That was because she spent her childhood playing under the scorching sun in Hongcai village.

She would wore sleeveless shirts and get herself messed up in the dirty mud. She would also play with the neighbors children as she passed by them every afternoon. The bubble gum she used to always share with Ni Rong and the devil like manager she used to hide from every morning. Her Granny's son who always pulled her hair as he laughed and her Grandfather who always shook his head when she massaged his back.

She chuckled as she reminisced her childhood and the memories attached to it. She looked down and noticed her tanned wrist and arms that was slowly turning blush porcelain tone.

She remembered working at the farms with her grandfather. She had to plant seeds and grow thousands of tomatoes and asparagus monthly. Everything in her grandfathers restaurant was fresh as he had grown them up with his own hand.

She was always messing around and ride the cartwheels for fun. Her grandfather on the other hand had to clear her dirt and take care of her at the same time. The memories of those time were something else.

As she was lost in her thoughts, Aizhe's phone buzzed and she felt the vibration at the back of her pockets. Taking it out, Aizhe felt amused at the content in her screen.
