Establish Her Own Name!

The passage of time is something we all experience. For some, time passes slowly. For others, it goes by way too quickly.

The sun wasn't showing today, instead it was overlapped by the gloomy and dark clouds--indicating that it was good to pour sooner.

Days have been getting harder and harder for Aizhe as she had to take care of her uncle and his needs.

Cheng Meng would come and stay for some times and then leave again like nothing was wrong. And for Li Na, she only knew how to argue and party all day long with her friends.

It was really hard sometimes, but Aizhe was fine with it as she loved her uncle more than anyone.

Seeing that her uncle was paralysed from half of his body, she consulted with the family doctors regarding his health and the doctors stated that he needed to live in a good atmosphere. He must have had a blockage of a nerve in the brain systems, causing it to permanently shut down.

Her uncle was the sole leader and he had to put up with all the responsibilities of his family and the relative's. Aizhe knew the problems laid in his family and their everyday bickering and arguments caused him many stress in life.

She was also suffering, both mentally and physically. She wanted to know her life motive, her dreams and future. She wanted to be judt like any other girls her age.

Putting up in to consideration of the family business, Aizhe had called up her Brother Chen and he was supposed to arrive today with his wife and Zia baby.

Aizhe sighed at her thoughts as she sat the swing and swinged for a while. She had been sitting in her small balcony for the past half an hour. She had long realized that her life wasn't easy, but she had just realized that the Li's wouldn't let her survive in this household.

They wouldn't let her live normally, so she had to take a step and show them who she is. She had to establish her name and face them with a strong demeanour.

Aizhe had never really looked in to her life as her grandfather took care of everything for her. She never really knew the obstacles and hardships she will have to face in this life.

For awhile she stayed like that. The birds sang far but she heard clearly as the atmosphere was so soothing. It felt empty in this place and she felt suffocated to just be here. She needed air before her Elder cousin arrived with his family. Getting out of the swing, she went passing by the small flower bowls on the corner.

The wind cascaded through and hit her natural glowy face. Feeling the chilly wind, Aizhe pulled her beige cardigan upwards to cover her sleeveless shoulders.

She went inside the room and looked out in her wardrobe. Picking out whatever caught her eyes, she dashed towards the bathroom and changed before leaving the room.
