When did he start to like her? Aizhe knew that talking to him right now would not change anything. She silently stood there.
Ah Si looked at her expressions and knew that she got his hint.
The proximity between them gave him the chance to look at her well defined face. Her eyes were showing him her whole self and that made him more determined to make her his. She was everything to him and that feeling seemed to dwell in to him every day.
"This time I was the one to express my feelings, but next time it will be you, Ms Li." Ah Si whispered in a teasing tone. His feelings were crashed today but his hopes weren't. He felt agitated for the first time but her slitty brown eyes calmed him down.
They both maintained eye contact when the door to the office opened.
"Hey, sweetheart, ho--" Ai came in to the room alongside Lu Jung and was taken back by the scene that unfolded in front of her. Her doe eyes were beyond shocked and she clasped her chest to calm her racing excited heart. She smiled brightly and turned around swiftly. She saw her other half who was still looking at them in shock and slapped the back of his head to signal at him.
"Sorry, sorry, you can both continue. But take care! Don't do anything that might cause you to later on regret, okay?," she explained to them hurriedly.
With that said, she was about to leave the room, when Aizhe shrieked outloud. "Sister, no, we were just talking." Ai paused in her tracks and her smile deepened. She looked at the beetroot colored girl and her dishevelled oversized brown coat.
'Right, they were talking'. She shook her head and excitedly clapped her hands instead.
"Oh really? Ailin, should we also talk this way from now on?" Lu Jung looked down at Ai's form and he smirked with thoughts roaming on his small brain.
"Shut up and don't call me that," Ai frowned at Lu Jung and went inside the room. She looked around and felt the air that was filled with a certain scent.
Aizhe looked at her curiously and asked her what she was doing.
Ai sister, what happened?" she asked her.
"Love. I smell love, dear." she sniffed around and suddenly held Aizhe's arms excitingly. "Now tell me fast, what happened in this room?"
Hearing her, Aizhe was a bit taken back. She held Ai's hand and shook her head. "Sister, how do you smell love?" she asked her curiously.
Ai chuckled and proudly looked at her. "Dear, you know nothing, okay!" She glanced at Ah Si first and then back at Aizhe. "Mm, the messy state of my bebo's collars.." she started and Ah Si immediately looked at his messed up clothes. He fixed it and looked at her coldly.
She smiled teasingly and continued: "And dear, the look of longing in your eyes and your messed up clothes, is this what I am thinking it is?" she asked her excitedly. Her tone changed from a proud lady to an exciting teenager with in a second.
Ah Si coughed a bit and he went back to sit on his swivel chair. His blank and cold face alerted Ai who knew that expression more than anyone in this room.
She looked around in the room and when she saw Aizhe who was standing infront of her awkwardly, she got more curious on what had took place in this room.
She held Aizhe's hand and took her out of the room, leaving the two boys in the room.
She immediately smiled at her and asked: "What happened, hurry, my exciting heart can't take it anymore." She asked her with a twinkling eyes and brightened face.
Aizhe broke down from the inside when she saw the expentancy in Ai's face. She wanted to tell her everything but she was afraid. She had just found out her emotions and she wanted to think about whether to tell Ah Si or not. She looked down sas she said. "Nothing much, we just talked about the working place."
"But Ai sister, can I call you later on to ask about the competition?" Aizhe was expert at dodging questions and Ai seemed to have fallen for it.
She excitedly looked at her as she asked: "You are participating?" Aizhe seemed to have gotten effected by Ai's contagious smile as she started to genuinely smile after eternities. Her deep dimples started to show and her light brown iris was like a reflection of the Galaxy's nebulae in a ocher shade.
She suddenly looked up confidently as she said.
"Ai sister, I don't know if I am good at singing but it is my dream and I want to give my all!"
When that sentence settled in to her head, Aizhe felt like life was playing games with her. The dream she had given up for her grandfather was now coming back to her but on the condition that someone dear was taken away from her.
She looked proud and confident at this moment and she knew that the decision she had taken was the right one. She wanted to provide for herself and the only way out was to get in to this competition and make a name for herself. And like this, she wouldn't be depending on her uncle and his family.
And perhaps, she could really decide whether she wants to be with someone or not..
Ai smiled warmly at her and took her hands as she walked her to her office.

"Brother, that really happened?" Lu Jung asked with a hand on his mouth in shock.
For the world, Ah Si was a prominent figure. He was like the cream on the crop for the entire country.
Every guy wanted to be like him and every girl wanted to be with him.
Ah Si sat on his swivel chair as he looked at the windows in a daze. His nostrils still smelled her scents and his hands longed for her warmth. His eyes were in a deep thoughts and after a long while' a bell rang from his head. He smirked proudly as he turned in his swivel chair to face Lu Jung.
"Lu Jung, call up Chen Fiaso, and ask her to meet up with me as soon as possible." When Lu Jung heard the name, his eyes flew open and he took a step back.
"Che--chen Fiaso?" Why her suddenly? Lu Jung thought.
