A Nickname?

'These two were definitely up to something big in this room!' she calmed herself as her eyes gleamed once more in anticipation.

She cleared her throat as she looked at the two calmly. "Hehe, what is there to be shy from, we are all adults here. I am pretty sure you must have reached a certain interesting part before I came in.."

Realizing that, Ai inwardly sighed. She must have spoiled the plans. Knowing her brother, he must have released his relenting full power on her.

'She came on the wrong time!' she cursed herself for being so dumb.

She went towards Ah Si and excitedly held his hands. "Bebo, can I finally put my full hopes on you?

"If you let others do that, I am pretty sure anyone could, Ailin," he told her with a passive look. He could have spent more time with Aizhe but her interruption ruined everything. On top of that she was questioning if he could do that? What a nuisance!

He felt like taking her and throwing her petite body out to the wild jungle, full of wild animals.

When Aizhe heard that, she almost passed out from internal heat. Her cheeks were already red from Ai's words earlier but to worsen it, Ah Si's teasing gaze started to stir up more problems to her weak heart. She hinted at him to stop as she was afraid Ai would catch them.

When Ai saw their quick exchange, she inwardly squealed. Feeling extremely happy by her brother's progress, she hugged him really tight.

"Bebo, come downstairs, we have to also decide the nickname." she broke the hug immediately as Ah Si's fiery gaze calmly looked at her one. His adoring manner just came out as a habit when he looked at his tactile and haptic sister. He hummed as a reply and immediately diverted his gaze back to the door--to a certain someone.

Raising her brows up in a surprising manner, Ai looked at him carefully.

With how egoistic and ruly her brother was, she never truly thought he could find his other half. Seeing how happy and attentive towards life her brother seemed to be in nowadays, Ai sighed in relief.

Life and business have made her brother the person he was today. He could neither smile nor express as he wished to. He was never taught the meaning of that. She always felt bad for him but even she knew there was no cure to it. However now that she looked at it, she believed a cure wasn't what was needed in his life but love and affection were what he was truly lacking all this long. Those were all deprived of him in his childhood by a ruly and an arrogant tyrant.

Thankfully, Aizhe came in through the perfect time and she mended her brother's broken life. She wished her brother could do the same for her as that was what love had truly taught her in her own life. Mend each other's broken self and wrap it up with love and affection.

She chuckled at her brother's intensive gaze towards Aizhe. He was totally smitten by her. Had she not left now, he probably would end her.

She went to the door to leave, but suddenly, a deep tone reached her ears through the opened door.

"Sweetheart, why did you left?," Lu Jung came in with a bottle of milk in his left hand and a glass of milk on the other hand. He looked extremely excited as he watched his other half-smile at him with doe eyes and a sweet boxy smile. Ai took the glass as she stood next to Lu Jung, seemingly talking to him.

The extreme sense of love in his eyes caught Aizhe's eyes. She watched as Lu Jung looked at Ai sister in a glazed and loving manner. She felt happy just by watching them. They were truly a loving couple. How she wished she could also be like that in her life? A caring husband and a loving family. She could truly tell that the two were deeply in love with each other.

"Love, can you stay with me for a couple more minutes?" as she was lost in her sweet thoughts, a deep and affectionate manly tone reached her small perked up red ear. She felt his head resting on her shoulders as he lovingly spoke to her. His fresh breath tingled her neck and she shuddered all over with goosebumps.

She smiled as she responded to him: "Why? Fiaso wasn't enough for you?" she stubbornly said with her arms crossed as she refused to look at him while her blush intensified. How fun was it to call someone your own? she sighed in relief at the sudden twist of change in her life. She couldn't wait to see how this change will be like in her life.

His smile widened at her sudden obedience yet jealous behavior. He maintained his fond smile as he rested his head on her neck more deeply. He thought to himself how joyful it was to be her man and hug her like this.

He reached his hands and wrapped them around her slim yet curvy frame. She felt his intoxicating scent engulfing her and she looked away. At this moment, her heart was almost out of her heart and she just closed her eyes to feel the peace and warmth in his arms.

The two forgot about the couple that stood there. Ai mischievously coughed. She laughed at the shocked girl. She suddenly ran to grab her hands.

The peaceful look in Ah Si's face changed and it was replaced with gloominess. He frowned darkly as he raised his hands to pull her back but to no avail. She was hastily taken by Ai. Ah Si looked at Ai as he waited impatiently for her reasonings.

'If he heard no proper explanation, then she was done for today; His chest heaved up in frustration as he thought over.

He was this close to ordering the security teams to take these two creatures away from his eyes. Why was she being a hurdle in his love life suddenly?

"Bebo, before you complain or anything, let me say this. You two have been here for a long time. Lots of our friends and family relatives are expecting you, please come down fast. Also...I want my soon to be sister-in-law.." Ai paused as she excitedly and teasingly looked at Aizhe. Aizhe looked away almost immediately. The look of her appearance in the mirror earlier flushed in her mind, making her more embarrassed.

She quickly ran a hand through her brown fringes as she looked down. What an embarrassing sight!

"To give a nickname for my Little Shan, what do you say, hubby?," when Aizhe heard that she almost whipped her head and looked at Ai, taken back by her words.

"Ai sister, what do you mean..me?" she asked her almost in a shock. This role was the parents. How could she just take their role away from them? She even heard from her Granny that mothers waited for ages just so they could get a glimpse of their kid and give them a nickname based on their Chinese horoscope, personality, and birth year.¹

It was a really religious and old Chinese way for the mothers to ensure the safety of their children's future and Aizhe felt too burdened to take this responsibility. She looked at the trio and all of them seemed to have had one mind. They all nodded in approval.

She sighed as a sweet smile plastered on her face. She put her arms in Ai's shoulder as she indicated to her to go downstairs. Ai smiled and looked back at her happily. The two moved forward forgetting about the desperate figure behind them.

When they almost left the room, Aizhe paused in her footsteps, and with that Ah Si's thundering heartbeat increased. She turned around as her face broke out in a bright smile. Her cheeks tinted red and her dewy brown eyes glistened with the reflection of the stars and moon in the ceilings. She looked ethereal whenever she smiled. Ah Si breathed out as he watched her take off the red scarf wrapped around her and throw it to him. The red material flew all the way until it rested on his face. He kept on looking into her brown slit gaze until the red scarf blocked his vision entirely.

Her vanilla and cranberry scent engulfed him and he immediately removed the red scarf from his face to only notice her out of his sight. She had disappeared.

Blinking his onze eyes rapidly, he noticed Lu Jung who stood there with a peaceful gaze. He turned away to fall in his wide bed. He laid there watching the stars and the moon as he remembered her gaze and confession. What a perfect day?
