Chapter 224: Demon King's Army's Movement

[Demon king's Castle, Demon Continent]

Standing in the hallway with the three of the vassals gathered up, the demon king's himself have personally walked down from his throne and came approaching them

"Demon king-sama?" They all ask simultaneously

As for the person himself which was donned with a long robe, a messy hair, protruding demon horns, and also strength that can dominate the battlefield, seeing the demon king himself engaging them in the hallway was quite a shocker on its own way

"Belial, Larval, Sirius" called out by the Demon king

With a domeanering tone with full of air of superiority, all three of them simultaneously and Almost composedly I'm sync as if such an act was rehearsed in it's own

"Demon king-sama! Your majesty! What may have prompted you to approach us? May I presume that your going to order us something? Since we are already infront of you, you yourself thought that this will be more convenient?" Asked Larval as he kept his head down

Hearing that the Demon king breath out a sigh as he said

"It is as just as you say, I thought that since you three with the exception of one of you was here, I was going to instead assign task for you" said the Demon king

"Is that so? Then shall we call Asuto? Since he is your favorite knight" asked Belial

"... . . No need Asuto is already busy on its own task, but the next task that I will assign to you, maybe some of you might be able to meet up with him on the battlefield" said by the Demon king

"Battlefield?"

"Yes! It seems that a joint squadron of elves and Beastman have already entered our lands along the border, I want to atleast one of you to take care of them" said by the Demon king as he searched for the person that will do the task

"Your majesty! If you may allow... . . " Said Belial

"Speak"

"I want to apply to be the one to take care of the troublesome task" he volunteered

"And the reason?"

"It is because for some reason it somehow aligned to one of the things that I would like to test out, so if by with your permission to allow me to handle this... . .' reasoned by Belial

"Don't worry! Fine! You can handle that joint squadron... . . But make sure you atleast leave one soldier alive for interrogation" ordered by the Demon king

"As you command"

After that he looked over to Sirius as he said

"Sirius!"

"Yes!?!?!" Replied Sirius

"This time I want you to lead some group to engage an first frontal attack on the humans... . . We need you to atleast damage them, but don't go via the old ways, I'll have you use Larval to teleport you to a certain extent near a human settlement... . . Do you understand that?" Asked by the Demon king

"... . . Yes I understood but may I know the reason why and what place"

"Simply put I want you to even the score out, since they date to send troops to their territory, then it is only natural to take this as an offensive movement and do a retaliation... . . With the exception of the reason that I want to see bloodshed on their end, I want you to particularly target one of their primary or soon to be base of operations"

"I want you to attack Screa Port City"

"Understood!"

With that Sirius once again bowed in respect and was followed suite by the others

With his piece being successfully conveyed to the opposite party, the Demon king himself left the scene and walked off somewhere

On the other hand Belial happily glanced at Sirius

"Aw looks like you got sent away, with that no matter what business you have in this lands, you will have no choice but to receive a delay report" said Belial as if in attempt to provoke him

At this Larval in turn reminded Belial

"Belial! We got more important factors to do today, get a move on"

With that Belial slowly nodded his.head as he simply returned a cheeky smile as he left together with Larval to prepare him myself to assault the joint squadrons

As soon as they left however, the atmosphere  around the hallway suddenly risen to a certain degree as Sirius let out his feelings at the moment

Due to his rage Sirius instead vented it all by punching the wall thus creating a seemingly cracked nature of the wall which was supposed to be protected by the mages magic

"Ahhh!!! That piece of shit!!! When I return, I'll really get you to kneel before me and if not then I'll just have to kill you on my own instead... . . Damn it! Damn it!!!" He grumbled

After that he continued complaining to his heart's content

"Not only that, there is also that issue of that guy escaping, if by some chance that Demon came to know of this that his favorite Human was captured and tortures by me... . . He will really come to hunt me for getting in The way of his own prey... . . But it seems that it will be troublesome since he's on a rampage, nevertheless he's still outnumbered if by some chance a group of high thank Ng vampires engage into a battle against him" contemplated Sirius

At that exact moment, Asuto himself came out from a corner as he slowly but surely met Sirius gaze

At that time Asuto has no further interest on any of the vassals as if by some chance he looked down upon them

"Oi! You... . . Peasant! What are you looking at?" Irritated by Asuto's blank stare, he instead took the chance to see what he made of

But instead of replying back, Asuto just simply looked back and continouesly stared at him

"Hey! Not gonna talk? You think your some big shot? Your neither a demon nor a monster, instead your just a human who have fallen into darkness, so tell me as a peasant yourself, do you even have the right to look me in the eye? To me a Vampire King?" Asked Sirius as if he's trying to gauge Asuto's potential

But in return Asuto just simply brushed him off as someone who acts like a child and simply continued to be on his way

Seeing that kind of response, Sirius himself have finally lost it as he clenched his fist and sent a punch with all his might without holding back

Instinctually Asuto received that attack head on as he used one hand to completely stop that attack with even shook the whole room from the impact

Seeing that even Sirius was surprised since his attack should have the strength to even destroy a mountain of he give it his all to punch

But instead of diverting it's force away, Asuto simply blocked it with his palm which showed just how his defense was way much more higher than any of them

But this time what was more surprising was that Asuto took this chance to talk

"You... . . What the hell are you doing?"

"Huh? So it seems that you can talk, and here I thought you were a deaf or mute" said Sirius with full intent of provocation

In reply to that Asuto simply held Sirius fist tightly to the point that it was strong enough to crack his bones thus forcing Sirius to kneel down in pain

"Don't underestimate me, as far as I can see... . . Not even one of you is near my kind of level" he said

"... . . Is that... . . A declaration of war against us?"

"Exactly! Even if you have to put four of you together against me, I'm confident that I'll be the one surviving in the end if we were to fight, so you better remember this you defect, I'm way much more stronger than you think I am"

But instead of showing fear, Sirius instead showed an expression similar to a point where one seems to like have found something interesting

"Your quite a chatter aren't you" asked Sirius

But instead of replying Asuto simply tossed his fist aside as he goes on his way

When he left Sirius in turn frowned as he kept Asuto as one of the guys that he will kill someday

Far from where everything so far had happened also I'm a different kind of event, the three calamity beings were having a conversation via telepathy since the three of them were separated due to the attack

Cause of the strength that required to battle, the destruction that was inhibited so far also caused some damage to the former capital, as buildings and roads were destroyed

But nevertheless the citizens still goes on their daily lives

"So as I was wondering if by some chance Kaido became powerful, just how strong do you think he would get?" Ask Fengris out of full curiosity

"Hmm... . . That's a nice question" pondered Aileene

"Well based on how somehow he can contend to you guys even though your surppressed is quite something, cause originally even though our strength was suppressed by atleast 50% of it, we are still capable of destroying a kingdom if we put our back into it" said Argos

"Hmm your right, but have you ever fought him yet?" Asks Aileene

"Well I have but Argos just simply watched from afar" answered Fengris instead

"I see then Argos has no right to say that" said Aileene

"I agree" added Fengris

"You guys... . . Aren't observing enough to analyze things? After all this was already practiced like by a lot of times already in the past" argued Argos

"We know! But you should know that such method aren't that accurate, one can only truly know what's that person's personality is by actually having a frontal engagement with them" said Aileene

"Is that how it is?" Asked Argos

After that Aileene seemed to plan to divert the topic elsewhere

"So can you tell me the reason why you guys followed or maybe even led him the way here? After all if your goal was simply act as a guide then atleast you could just show him the way and when you get near the city, you should have told his some few instructions and left him by his own devices, and. Yet you followed him... . . Any reasons for that behaviour?" Asked Aileene

After pondering for awhile Argos instead answered

"Boredom"

"We are simply bored, and plus by watching him, I somehow felt a nostalgia from a long long time ago when I last felt that traveling was exciting, plus it's been quite a lot of years already and perhaps the world have changed a little right? And with change there is bound to be new strong opponent's that doesn't know you and new wonderful places that was reconstructed through time itself" said Argos

"Bored eh!!!... . . Somehow I can relate to that since having a long life is quite a good offer to people that live life short, but as for us that do have long life expectancy, having a long life must have been quite a burden since you'll be able to see your friends come and go while you stay behind... . . The hardest part of having a very long life is that you'll be able to witness people you care about come and go through time" said Aileene as he gazed at the sky

"One day since the three of us have long lives, we will all see the very death of Kaido and the come and go of his descendants... . . If you thought about it, it's quite sad" said Aileene

With that the mood seemed to mellowed down, but after awhile Aileene clapped her hands to break the atmosphere and said

"Well anyway let return shall we? After all were done here"

Said Aileene which was further agreed upon by the other three in different areas as the bodies of the enemies was payed out infront of them

If one could describe the situation of 3 vs 10 of them, we could say that the battle was a one sided slaughter as 3 people solely killed 10 vampires without breaking a sweat
