Chapter 240: Destruction Of The Empire V

[Eldion Empire]

From the ground view of the people below the empire, all of them never thought that the castle which stood proud and mighty after all this year's would be proudly and bravely attack by an unknown enemy

All of them thought it was an infiltration operation from another country that was planning to take down the empire on the inside, but what they didn't know was that such attack was only initiated by four people alone

As series of explosions came into sight people who was near the castle walls grew excited to see the perpetrators and also afraid that they might get caught in a crossfire, so in turn they watched everything from a safe distance

Unfortunately once fighting against a Calamity Being safe distance was never an option, there is no safe place if your fighting one of them

This was proven by just a few moments later as a storm surge and multitudes of Hale and tornadoes assaulted the ground from above

Due to the tornadoes and lightning being colored black, the danger level they possess of course sky rocketed, with it they became so much dangerous that by even just getting caught on it can kill you

Any people who thought that they were safe in the distance was eventually killed

What's more what happened after that surprised everyone the most as the castle that they are proud off suddenly got.lofted off the ground after a series of found burst exploding all around the empire

Thus they watched the castle gets taken away through the clouds that day

When everyone thought it was over, a sudden scream rose as a woman citizen of the empire suddenly pointed at the sky only to see their so prided castle falling down from the atmosphere with it's bottom that is raging in burning flames as it broke through the world's atmospheric barrier

After a while of seeing that they suddenly realized that the castle would fall into them and if that happened the empire would be razed to the ground

Starting from the woman that saw first the falling castle, scream arose as panic stricken people begun rampaging as they tried to outrun the range of the landing blast

The empire's citizens was in distraught after seeing that this the alleys, slums, main road, gates were instantly flooded by the people as they squeeze themselves out of the way

Some nobles even used the prestige of their position just to.inimidate the commoners to move aside and let them past first, but due to their survival mannerism and Instincts such nobles were eventually subdued by the crowd as they stormed in

The whole situation was a mess from down below, while the people inside the castle were tearful of their own fate

Due to the fall and sudden acceleration to the ground, Duke Agra couldn't help but only crawl to steadily make himself approach the King Emperor that was lying on the ground as his face was scared witless as he experiencing death first hand

"Your majesty!!!" Grumbled Duke Agra as he extends his hand

Hearing him King Emperor Ergo eventually looked his way with his face that has broken down to tears as he imagined his fate after falling to the ground at high speed

"Duke Agra! I'm sorry my friend, looks.loke I've dragged you down with me to death" he replied

Of course Duke Agra gritted his teeth as he said

"No! The empire needs you to rise again! You can't die here! Don't worry I've got a way to save you"

Soon after Duke Agra pushed his very own Mana to the limit as he provided King Emperor Ergo the toughest safe haven barrier he could give, due to it blood gushed out from his nose, eyes, ears as he gave it all to further enhance the barrier

As for the King Emperor himself he was surprised to see Duke Agra's figure being destroyed cause of him trying to surpass his limit

"No! Don't do this! You should cover yourself too, you can't sacrifice your life just to save me" he pleaded

But this plea didn't even stopped Duke Agra from exerting all he got to the barrier

"Using my life as a source power to strengthen the barrier around you, this in turn will keep you alive" said Duke Agra as he coughed out blood

"You need to live, make sure that bastard Kaido pays the price for messing with the empire... " Said Duke Agra with a smile

Seeing that king Emperor couldn't help it anymore as he tries to reach out his hand

"No!"

"Long live the Empire!"

Just as Duke Agra muttered that the castle itself crashed unto the ground of the empire causing the surface itself to explode out of itself, as everything was upturned and was razed to the ground with earth and fire

All people that got caught on the explosion were eventually killed as waves of fire passed through them

Shockwaves after shockwaves assaulted the empire as the everything that the humans of the past build on such location was suddenly destroyed by the very same kind that they persecuted

Screams arose as people got caught on the never ending explosions and destructions, the once majestic empire was eventually turned into nothing

The crash shook the world as the wind pushed away and startled the creatures near it, the heat killed everything that it touches, the upturned earth blew everything that survived and every man made structures that the people of the past tried to protect

The once majestic castle of the empire was suddenly destroyed due to the crash, everything that was not protected enough died in burning flames and destruction of oblivion

From that point onwards the Eldion Empire fall into Oblivion

The only way to restore it was through certain people of the royalty either the power of the Queen Empress Evelyn or Empire's princess Lily

Such destruction of the empire will later on be spread out throughout the world as later would cause many conflicts on whether to take all the plot of land and resources that the empire left, but such story will be for another time

Far from above four figures could be seen looking down on the destruction that they caused, but none of them felt pity nor regret from what they did, as such event was only natural if certain aspects were to provoke them

This was true especially to the three figures besides Kaido

As a Apocalyptic Dragon that brought destruction to the world, Argos has his fair share of kingdom eradication

As a Cursed Black Fenrir, Fengris also has experience on destroying tribes, keep killing rulers, and most of all seeing such destruction

As a Strongest Vampire and a Forgotten Princess of the forgotten kingdom of vampires Aileene also has experience on acting such a way in the past as this scene completely reminded her of how she treated her own kingdom after her awakening

From the sky they could see some people who have successfully distanced themselves were scurrying on the plains outside the empire

Such scene almost made them tempted to step on them as it reminded them of a scurrying ants

"Humans are such a fickle creatures... . . Can you imagine? They really can't recognize us? We're Calamity Beings! Told on tales and in legends to be careful of, but they don't even recognize us" pouted Argos

"Are you sure your pouting? Then why am I feeling that your somehow happy to see brave souls that are not affected by your reputation to attack you?" Wondered Fengris as he gave Argos a skeptical look

"Huh? What are you on about?" Replied Argos as he tried to hide his smirk

Seeing that Aileene sigh as she turn to look at Kaido who was looking down on the ground like a god discerning the date of his creation

"You got what you wanted, are you satisfied?" She asked

After hearing that for awhile, Kaido turned silent for a moment before he replied

"Nope not yet"

"Huh?"

"He's not dead yet"

Hearing that all three of them wore surprised expression as they thought that the Empire's ruler wasn't dead yet

"That sorry for the excuse ruler is not dead yet even though he fell from that height? What is he? A cockroach?" Exclaimed Fengris

"I hate cockroaches" reacted Aileene

"Well he's really stubborn to die" replied Argos

After that Kaido answered

"I don't know how but he survived"

Then after that all three of them looked at him

"Now what? Are you gonna go after him?"

"Nope! I'll wait for what he's about to do and how will he struggle to avenge everything that he lost, my move on this little game of ours ends here, it's that Hero's turn now.. I just wonder how he will counter my critical move this time"

Hearing that all three of them turned speechless as they thought that Kaido was taking all of this like a game for him

"Oh yeah! Have you learned anything about the new main head of the Adventurers Guild that replaced the former one?" He asked

"Well yeah! The former guild master Barton was executed by the empire, he was replaced by a person who was somehow greedy of power just like what the empire wanted to be in control so that they could manipulate him"  said Fengris

"Also the Adventurers Guild under his command was hard to describe cause of his actions since he actually in turn use his power to oppress any rebel of his ways and also freely assault any female adventurers for his pleasure, due to that many left his guild and went away and only few could be seen" said Aileene as she shrugged

"Is that so? Alright how many adventures came your way Argos?" Asked Kaido

Hearing his name Argos answered

"A pitiful number of 30"

With that Kaido exhaled as he really thought that such a guild was just exploited just like that

"What a pity"

The reason for this was because Kaido wanted to know whether the Guild master Barton was still alive after all of this, so he sent both Aileene and Fengris to investigate the guild while him and Argos would observe the empire from afar, with the thought of to actually tell him on what he's about to do in Advance, but since he was dead then he could do nothing much but just destroy everything at his own pace

After being informed of his figure and body structure, Kaido begun searching for such person among the survivors using the vibration of the air and manipulating vector quantum elements in the air to create a sonar radar to locate it's specific location

After awhile such person actually as it described was among the survivors, so with a thought all four of them went to it's location among the crowd and killed him publicly

This in turn made people recognize his face as such features were imprinted in their minds

They never thought that later on such figures will be the cause of their own nightmarish events in the future

After accomplishing everything that he wanted, all four of them returned to the two grave stone that they implied as a checkpoint and waited it out for Aileene's Mana cap to recover for a day

They had attacked the empire during high noon and left after 3 hours stay in it

Such news of its fall spreads out during their resting time and such news eventually caught Ingrid's ear as she fell shocked by such a one sided outcome even though in the past Kaido had so much trouble when fighting the empire

This in turn proved just how much Kaido has grown stronger

As for Queen Empress Evelyn and Lily, they both fell worried for their people along with their soldiers as they thought of their left behind families and imagined that they didn't survived

As that thought crossed their mind some soldier of the Empire on Ingrid's side fell to sorrow as they cried for their loved ones fate

Some of them even grew some hatred for the four people that served as an evil entity on their minds and hearts

Soon this four people served not only as a sign of fear and evil in their eyes, but also as a sign of death for many that encountered them never came back alive

Since such term as villains was really non-existent on this world, they in turn called them menace, enemy of God's, or worst of all the reapers of death and destruction

But such act of villainy and evil wasn't the end yet as of fact this was only a trigger for the future wherein the whole world was in fear of Kaido himself and stigmatized him as the sole evil and cruelty of this world, in other words villain

As for Raguel when he heard such news he in turn bursted out in anger as he saw Bruno, Duke Agra's only son fell into sorrow and despair as he pleaded Jake to follow him to his father's grave

He couldn't take such news of his father's death that was caused by the person he loathed the most and the same person who gave him a scar, Kaido

For Raguel this kind of an act from Kaido was like a slap to his face as he promised to protect the Empire and it's ruler

This movement of him was like a mockery of his competence, thus this angered him to a degree

Due to his anger he eventually used a high extensive tracking magic and found a slight trail of Kaido's location even thought it was just a tiny bit of it

With this thought he rage outside a certain building in Screa Port City and spreads out his wings before blasting him off the ground in pursuit of Kaido at a high speed

"Kaido! You will pay for trampling on my pride just now!"

With a flap of his angelic wings Raguel zoomed off to the distance towards Kaido's location
