Chapter 341: Unexpected Fate

After the day of their arrival in shibuya, due to their limited expenses Kaido and the rest then occupied a warehouse that was rarely used by any company

Using this not only would they solve about the place where they are going to rest, they would also have a place where they would gather in case they needed an emergency

Due to the reason that Kaido neede to take a stroll and atleast bait some people in the organization up, he then separated from the group only bringing along Melfina

As for Ingrid she then enthusiastically went along with Ailenne and Sui to go to some park or somewhere while strolling around for some sightseeing

Of course for safety insurance Kaido then asked for Aileene to use some kind of spell that would alter their faces in the eyes of the other ordinary people, naturally he excluded the G.E.N.O.S organization from that term so that the other party would easily recognize them

The reason why he did such a thing was because Kaido needed more information about the enemy, since their recent target was just an observatory tower, it would naturally only contain  of minimal information regarding the association

If he wanted information then he would atleast needed to capture more members of the G.E.N.O.S organization or capture atleast a person who has power over it

Of course he knew capturing a person with position won't be easy, so the best plan he could make at this point is make contact and the only way to do that is boldly expose himself to them without alerting the other civilians

As for the civilians the reason why he hid his face from them due for security measures for the incident 1 year ago and so that he could use them to camouflage among the crowd without any problem of getting easily exposed

After the best hiding spot is the spot where there are many people

During that time of his departure together with Melfina, it took them about 30 minutes of walk based on their physique

Thanks for their physique that was technically enhanced by various environment in another world, both Kaido and Melfina could naturally be mistaken for fit and athletic people based on their body structure

While walking into a crowded place Melfina then glanced at Kaido before murmuring about some few words for him to hear

Of course since he also asked aileene on the way to atleast maintain a mental connection for communication, any talks in between using their thoughts would also be heard by the others, especially for both Argos and Fengris who were lazing around in the warehouse

So in order to communicate privately one had to really concentrate on their target reciever to send a private conversation

"Kaido-sama! Its been long since I've traveled along with you, if you please could tell me what happened to you during your time in the Demon Continent"

Naturally since Melfina was loyal towards Kaido, she would also be quite curious of his experience during his solo's

"About that experience? Well nothing much, but I can guarantee that it is a long story, but if you really want to know then maybe I could provide some time in the future to tell you about it"

Hearing that Melfina then nodded in satisfaction, but afterwards she then asked

"Changing the topic do you think this organization..."

As she thought of the organizations name, Kaido then simply answered her pondering

"Its G.E.N.O.S"

"Ah yes! That one... are you sure that they will go after you? Cause there might be a possibility that they would just let you be"

Noticing her curiosity being perked up, Kaido then raised some finger indicating that they should atleast enter  a cafe situated in the mall and get some coffee

Naturally Kaido has expenses for coffee

Just as he suggested that both of them naturally went inside a mall and went to a Cafe as they ordered a cup coffee each

Of course since both of their vibe were quite unique compared to others, they would naturally be mistaken for a couple who are in a date together

But the most person getting the attention was naturally melfina due to her perfect body curves and added that to her being blonde

After sitting on a table near the window, kaido then looked out the window ashe saw every passevy along the way

Of course such cafe was located at the second floor of the mall in this busy industrial place

After taking awhile to relax their nerves, he then raised some finger as he said

"Their are reasons why I'm sure that they won't let me be, first and foremost is because they know that I came from them and a special successful product, out of 150 special successful espers that they have recreated to become a weapon, I'm numbered as 99 meaning they knew how important is my existence and how dangerous it is"

"Second they don't know just how much I improve my capability over a year, mostly they would estimate it as little or so since its not been more than a decade since I've familiarized myself in this aspect, in that case my unimaginable performance in another world is a huge secret from them"

"Third since the second reason is applied they would most likely send some team to prick my current capability, with that they will have an updated data on myself"

"Fourth atleast I'm deemed as dangerous they won't go to hasty measure on using their special espers to kill me, meaning were currently in the safe for now"

"And fifth i won't let them back away from my case since my target is their destruction"

Hearing all those reasons Melfina then pondered further

"But can you get rid of them?"

With that Kaido placed a hand on his chin as he said

"For now it will be impossible to completely erase them since they are scattered all around the globe, in that way we will have to take the step bit by bit or else they might take some chance on our flaws to finish us all off"

At that Melfina then dranked her cup as she said

"So your confident on taking them out"

"You betcha I'm really confident"

With that both of them continued on their idle talk as they observed their surroundings

While that was happening, on another place about 30km away from them, a group of black van was currently situated at the side of a road park

Of course naturally such black van was owned by the G.E.N.O.S organization, inside of such van was a group of surveillance team which belonged to the joint team of both scout squad and assault squad

Of course such huge group was pre-arranged by the Head Chief of the organization's Japanese branch

The one in command of these operation was a commander from the organization who is called Meyers a foreign transfer officer

As usual such group regard such operation as nothing extraordinary, as their job was to naturally capture any Esper they targeted or take down any group that dares to offend the organization

On his hand he was currently holding unto the file and documents that the organization gathered about Kaido and his group

As if fate has tied them together not after a few days of searching, they have already found their culprit, thus regarded them as amateur rebels

On his screen he was currently spying on the location of both Kaido and Melfina who were drinking coffee inside a cafe of the mall

Seeing this he then snickered at the screen as he patted the people in charge of surveillance

"These guys are amateurs in hiding, they are really so bold not to even hide their own faces, much less expose themselves through a window"

After that comment commander Meyers then ordered

"I've got eyes on the target does anyone copy?"

After he said that naturally all the teams that were near Kaido reported back

"Team 1 copy!"

"Team 2 we've got eyes on them"

"Team three here"

"Team four were lock and loaded"

After that he contacted the two bait that he situated to follow both of them

"Is the bait ready?"

"The bait is here, the moment they try anything, we will then inform you"

After that he contacted the sniper

"Sniper are you on set?"

"Eagle eye here! I've got eyes on my target"

Hearing everything was going according to his preparation he then commanded

"Alright! Just like the higher-ups has commanded, we will try to poke unto subject no. 099 capabilities, this will be tricky since were dealing with an escapee of the organization, everyone be careful"

"Roger!"

"Got it!"

"Dont worry!

As the movement of the organization was being made, Kaido on the other hand naturally noticed every men of the organization around him through sending slight seismic wave to monitor there movements

After he confirmed there whereabouts, he then put his arm around melfina and closed the gap between them to avoid suspicion

Of course Melfina was a it startled by his action, but the moment Kaido did that he then gave her the task that she needed to do which caused her to take it seriously

"Here's the situation! We are surrounded"

"Eh?!?!"

Stunned by that question and ignoring Melfina's reaction Kaido then continued

"In exact the enemy is situated about in four direction around us, all of them are monitoring our movements, coordinates about 4:00, 12:00, 10:00, 2:00"

"!!!"

"They are in a group of three but don't look over" warned Kaido

Hearing that melfina then listened even more intensely

"Theres also two people that kept following us for about an hour now"

Hearing that even Melfina was astounded

"What?!? How did they..."

But before she could finish, Kaido then interrupted her

"Its simple they are professionals, they don't exert bloodlust thus almost unnoticeable..."

With that Melfina then calmed herself afyer Hearing that, but no matter what she was completely caught off guard by such a tactic of following them without bloodlust even though she has an assassin occupation in this group

"Here's what your going to do, you are gonna go about 30km east from here and eliminate the surveillance team of the area, also capture the commander at that as quickly as posssible"

"If I capture him what then?"

"Then call on Aileene and used some spell to extract some information on his memory, no need to be gentle and after that kill him"

Hearing that Melfina nodded

With that Kaido then smiled evilly

"Meanwhile I will create a havoc for your cover.... now go!"

Hearing that signal, without moments delay Melfina then submerged unto her shadow, thus leaving Kaido all alone

Seeing her disappearance the two bait suddenly rose up in alarm, just in time to see Kaido manipulating various metal to restraian both of them

Due to that both agents then became agitated as they ignored the civilians and fired at will

"Open fire!!!"

Of course such a thing was immediately reported to the commander

"We need reinforcements! Target is on the move he's hostile!"

Hearing that the commander issued various order for the other teams to provide cover

As for the sniper that was situated about 50 km away from the target, he then aimed at Kaido's head before firing

Sensing danger Kaido then tilted his head only to avoid the bullet that bypassed his sight

"A sniper? Hahahaha! This will be fun"

Snalping his finger he then turned the very atmosphere of the room into methanol, before lighting everyone up in flames causing an explosion on the second floor

Taking the window of the mall he then jumped off from it and landed on the ground with his barefoot while leaving the large section of the second floor in fire

Naturally cuas of that two agents that were the bait were instantly killed

At that moment many civilians ran for their life, while the organization slowly pointed their weapons towards Kaido and opened fire at him

Naturally the sniper would also fire at times causing a different sharp bullet to join in the fray

While raising his barrier, he then easily deflected all incoming bullets towards him

Seeing that Kaido then gathered electricity around both of his palm he released them towards the surrounding troops causing an EMP wave explosion and cutting off all form of communication

Cause of its force many troops on the ground was immediately blasted away while the various devices exploded and glass shattering around the area

Many civilians were even affected by it causing them to groan in pain

After that the sniper fired another round of his bullet once more only to get blocked by Kaido's psychic barrier

Confirming the bullets trajectory kaixo then looked out towards the direction of the sniper causing the latter to be startled

Picking up a sniper bullet on the ground he then took ahold it lightly while putting some energized nuclear energy on such bullet

Throwing it with his outmost, the bullet then traveled through the distance with the help from Kaido's psychic ability and landed on the location of the sniper causing the whole tower to explode its top into smithereens

After that seeing the other troops he then stomped the ground to caus eye earth to shake and explode a little before going after their members one by one causing a slaughter

Due to that various guns then fired towards Kaido only to be know as useless infront of him

In just a matter of seconds of fighting Kaido then completely massacred four teams and a sniper all on his own while including some innocent civilians along the way

As for the commander afyer getting cut off by the EMP wave explosion from Kaido, he was completely astounded on how destructive the target became, not even bullets faze him

Trying to connect once more with the team, he then tried various means to reconnect

But after just few seconds the sound of guns firing and screaming could be heard outside causing the whole team in the van to pause on what there doing

But not long after the door suddenly opened as melfina got inside and started killing everyone off

"Assassinate"

With just her ability she then skillfully killed all the troops inside by only one attack before capturing the commander

After capturing him she then called upon Aileene to start extracting some information on the commanders memory

After some while Kaido then ran away from the sight of the scene and went into hiding for a moment

While making sure that nothing was wrong anymore he then slowly nove put from his hiding spot and into the open

Of course as he got out for a bit of distance he then recognized the street as the same street in his memories when he was living a normal life

Just as he was reminiscing his past as sudden voice then sounded behind him

"Kaido?"

Hearing that he naturally turned around only to see the face of his mother shakily and tearfully staring at him

"Ah shit!"
