Chapter 460: Final Rush

[Proto Earth]

Despite seeing the five headed dragon, none among Kaido's group despaired, as they fought back with confidence that they can win. While Fengris was currently distracting the Janus who had turned into a five headed dragon, both Kaido and Aileen then moved into their position in order to find a blindspot in wherein they could deal a significant blow agaisnt Janus.

Not long after as they were moving towards their position, Janus five heads then slammed Fengris across the buildings, before one of them succesfully bits his back and flinging him all across ten blocks of the city.

After that all five heads then suddenly turned towards Kaido's direction, as they all shot a powerful breath at him, which forced the latter to put up multiple layered barriers before being blown away by the force.

In that opening while Janus attention was all in Kaido, Aileen then immediately jumped into the air, as she used her blood to conjure a huge axe in the air.

"Blood Magic, Decapitation!!!"

In just one full swing, Aileen literally split the whole city in half while also decapitation all of Janus heads in one go. Due to that Janus was forced to transform back into his human self as his previous form was killed by Aileen attack.

However Janus refuses to admit defeat, as he quickly threw multiple buildings towards Aileen in the air, which collided in one point.

Following that he then cushioned his fall, before he rolled over and immediately used his phasing ability the moment Kaido appeared and tried to ambush him from the side.

After dodging Kaido's initial strike, he then followed by blocking his kicks and punches, before he quickly countered back by punching his guts coupled with sonic blast which shoots him crashing to the building behind him.

In that moment before he could even quickly follow up his counter, Aileen suddenly appeared above him, as she smashed his head to the ground and throwing him into the air. The ment that happened Argus and Fengris fired off their own spells as him which caused a huge explosion to erupt.

"Dark Renegade!!!"

"Black Lightning!!!"

As if that wasn't enough, when the explosion dimmed down, Belial suddenly appeared in the air above Janus as he finally finished casting his own magic.

"World class magic, Destruction Spear!!!"

The moment he threw the spear and it squarely hit Janus, another huge explosion happened which envelopes everyone near its radius and shook the Planet itself.

From there the whole city was completed devastated as a huge crater appeared which left a huge portion of the city completely barren. In the middle of it lays Janus who had somewhat survived that attack. But despite surviving the attack itself, his whole body aches as fatigue finally caught up to him. Alongside it the drawbacks of overusing his esper ability finally showed as his nose started bleeding.

Seeing the blood, he couldn't help but click his tongue as he realized that his time was almost up. But despite knowing that, he was actually having a hard time to move.

"Ugh!"

Not far from him, the others also appeared as both Argus and Fengris transformed back into their human form. As for Aileem and Belial, they were struggling to get up as they were literally tired for fighting for so long.

As for Kaido he was actually left unscathed as he pushed himself in blocking Belial's magic causing him to overuse his ability and slowly breaking him from the inside.

"Ugh! It's been so long since this happened to me"

After he said that, his nose also started bleeding as his body was nearing its own limit. Since this was the case, then almost he needed to take down Janus first before his body breaks down. Forcing himself to get back up, he then looked at Janus from afar who was also in a similar condition as he walked towards him in slowed steps.

Naturally the rest also saw him as they too tried to get up. Even though this signifies that the battle was almost over, Janus on the otherhand refused this result as he used his ability once more in order to regain his stamina. After that he then stood up and faced Kaido.

"You think this is over? It won't be over, as long as your alive, there would never be peace"

"Peace? You mean your fabricated peace in exchange for the sufferings of others? Don't make me laugh!!! Just because you have your own privilege, that doesn't justify that you can talk about my views.... I've seen things and experience things far horrifying that you can imagine... you know own nothing"

"And what? Because of what you experience, you will cause havoc? Destroy important bases? Kill people?"

"I'm only cleansing the world of people"

"Cleansing? That's killing!!!"

"Its retribution!!!"

"They are innocent people!!!"

"They are not innocent!!!

After that initial exchange, both Kaido and Janus went silent for a moment as they glared at each other.

"You can't justify humanity's evil"

"Truth be told, for me... you look more like evil himself"

"Funny! That's how you look for me too, looks like no matter how we justify it, all humans are just inherently evil just like how they are all inherently good"

"Well then looks like I just can't let you go, you'll have to die here for the peace of our world"

"I agree on that too"

After saying that, Kaido pushed himself once more as he charged towards Janus, only for the latter to out his all into his abilities and create something far beyond what ordinary human can control.

Fight evil with an eve greater evil, this quote is quite well known and often used in many different occasions, for Janus Kaido is a great evil that will harm his homeworld if he doesn't stop him and the only way to fight such evil is by using another evil.

No matter what even if he has to sacrifice his life, Kaido must die in this world. Just like that, a crack is space has formed as the creature from the outerverse tries to make his way into this world.

The moment the crack appeared, the whole balance of the world was suddenly broken, as the entity behind the cracked space is a creature that shouldn't exist in this world.

It is known rule to people who are strong, that no matter how one is strong you are, you should never mess with something you can't comprehend. On this case, the abyss and the creatures living in it.

Of course in Kaido's world such space and existence are just theories and stories that are derived from books, but for some world that reached its pinnacle, they are as real as one imagines. Such creatures are called outer.

"What... what is that?" Asked by Aileen as she saw something moving from beyond the cracks.

"Kaido?" Called out by Argos as he also felt chills when he looked at the space beyond the crack.

For the first time since for a very long time Kaido and everyone in his group felt something that they had long forgotten ever since they became strong individuals in their respective worlds, primal fear. The fear which stems from deep within their DNA, their natural instincts as creatures of the material world, the fear of the unknown.

For Belial and Kaido, such emotion was quite nostalgic since they had experienced fear quite recently in their life, however for Aileen, Fengris, and Argos, such emotion is something they never expected to show up again.

However despite all of that, it wasn't too late yet. Even though Janus was able to manifest such horrendous abomination into the material world by relying on his esper ability to transcend the laws of this plane, he is not omnipotent but a simple mortal.

As everyone knows, mortals has its bounds that can't be transcend no matter what anyone do.

Just like Kaido expected, the moment he looked at Janus direction, not only had he exhaust his ability, the burden of summoning such creature into the mortal plane is just too much and unbearable for his own body. Even he doesn't diagnose him, Kaido was sure that Janus body was breaking apart and he was slowly dying, such a price must be paid for violating the balance of this dimension.

"Its not over yet! We can stop this... his summoning is incomplete, he had overestimated himself, now he is no different from a dead man"

"?!?!"

"We need someone to stop that crack from further spreading, while the rest have to kill Janus no matter what it takes as fast as possible, that is the only way we can survive"

The moment Kaido said those words, everyone's eyes darted towards Janus, while Belial was the only one who returned his gaze back to the crack in the sky.

Sighing deeply, Belial then stepped up.

"Let me do it!"

"What?" Asked by Kaido

"I know a spell to stall some time, I learned it from my colleague... I'll stop the crack from further spreading, you guys handle its summoner"

"Belial! Are you sure? This is not a joke! You could die from stopping that thing" Asked by Kaido

"Then it would be my greatest honor!"

After saying that Belial then took flight as he headed towards the crack up in the sky. Upon seeing this, Kaido clicked his tongue, as he took the lead for everyone.

"Kill Janus now! He must die!"

Hearing Kaido's words, Argos, Fengris, and Aileen quickly rushed towards their target, as Kaido followed behind.

Not long after, Belial reached the crack in top speed, as he begun forming a magic circle on the level of world class magic. After forming multiple intricate lines like some ancient text on the magic circle, he then begun pouring his own mana into the circle and finally activated the magic.

"World class magic! Frozen Lost World!!!"

Under his command the whole area around him for about 5km wide radius, suddenly had their time frozen, as nothing within it are allowed to move, since he was quite close to the crack, the crack naturally stopped from spreading any further as the creature beyond it seemed annoyed that its descent had been stopped. Due to that it then became enraged as it tried to break through the plane using force.

At the same time Janus is desperately keeping himself alive, as he was being attacked all over the place with no breather at all. Because he had nearly exhaust himself, the only thing he could do now is to either dodge or block the enemy's attack. Even though he could counter back using some means, it's firepower is quite lackluster and not enough to deter Kaido and his group.

The only chance he has for winning now is to completely had the creature descend into this world. But this too is being stalled as Belial made his own worthwhile sacrifice.

As he was thinking of this, both Aileen and Kaido suddenly attack him from both of his sides, forcing tk quickly teleport away from a safe distance. However the moment he did this, Fengris immediately catches up with his speed and literally lounged at him like a wild rabid beast.

Thankfully he immediately phased through that attack, as he safely got out of it unscathed before quickly running away in full throttle. But the moment he did that, Argos literally sent down multiple shots raining down from above causing the whole area to be bombarded with destructive explosion.

However Janus somewhat still survive as he teleported far above into the sky, whe using his psychic energy to throw a building towards Argos himself.

After that he then conjured a huge molten fireball at the size of a huge dome above him, as it threw it towards Belial in an attempt to disrupt his magic. However before his attack could take flight, both Fengris and Kaido destroyed his attack by striking down black lightning towards it, causing a destructive explosion.

Following that Aileen then somehow had sneakily got close towards Janus, as she smacked him out of the air and forced him to crash to the ground.

He was running out of energy, what's more it seemed like Kaido and his group are still able to fight even longer than this, if this goes on Janus would lose this battle as his stamina gives out. His only chance for success now is for him to succesfully let loose whatever monster he had called from the depths of the abyss using his esper ability.

Unfortunately one of Kaido's group member is risking its life to stop its descent, if he wants to succeed he would need to get rid first of that said person himself. However no matter what he do, Kaido and the rest of his group just kept interfering him over and over again.

Annoyed by their continous interference, Janus then screamed out in anger at the top of his lungs as he showcased his desperation.

"You Bastards! Get out of my way!!!" Said by Janus as he sent out a razor blade psychic wave which splits multiple buildings in half.

"Why should we? We're here to stop you from interfering duh!" Said by Kaido as he barely manage to dodge that attack after his multiple barriers suddenly broke after getting struck by Janus attack.

Hearing Kaido's voice, a veins popped on Janus head as he conjured hundreds of ballistic laser cannons out of thin air and begun bombarding towards Kaido's direction.

In that moment both Aileen and Fengris rushed from both of his sides, as they lounged at him, only for Janus to suddenly notice their presence.

With a flick of his finger, he forcefully transformed Fengris back into his human form, before he suddenly imagined himself to be far stronger than Aileen physically. With that he then easily caught Aileen's punch, as he smacked her down to the ground, before kicking her towards Fengris direction.

Somewhat enough, Fengris dodged Aileen who was thrown his way, as he showed up his sharp nails and sent a wave slash towards him. However with a simple gesture, Janus reflected back his attack, while sending a razor psychic wave towards Argos who was diving from the sky above.

With swift maneuvering Argos dodged Janus attack, as he landed on the ground which caused a small quake, before slamming his hand towards him with an intent to flatten him to the ground.

Unfortunately Janus saw through this, as he instantly teleported besides Argos face and heavily launched a powerful blow towards his jaw, causing his whole dragon body to stumble and crash towards the building beside him.

But right after he did this, Kaido then suddenly dropped a whole gas tank on him, which caused an explosion to erupt upon contact. But despite that surprising attack, Janus somehow managed to erect a barrier around himself, before facing towards Kaido and smashing him in between two buildings.

In the next moment Kaido bursted out of the smashed buildings, as he clasped his hand together and launched a laser like beam attack towards Janus, which penetrated his barrier and directly shot his shoulder.

Screaming in pain, Janus held on his shoulder wound, as he glared back at Kaido. But the moment he did this, Kaido was already in front of him, as he directly punched him on the face which blasted him off the air.

However before he could even crash down, Aileen suddenly appeared before him, as she kicked him towards Fengris, who in turn punched him back upwards. Right after that, Argos then immediately slapped him to the side, which brought him directly to the area where Kaido aimed his next attack.

Conjuring a self made helium sun at the size of a whole block of the city, Kaido thenthrew it towards Janus direction which soon caused another huge explosion to erupt which decimated half of the city upon impact.

In face of this, all Janus could see was his whole life flash before his eyes before he suddenly got enveloped by the flames of the explosion.

"Ah!"

It took quite awhile for the explosion to dimmed down, but as soon as it disappeared, a large crater was left in its wake, as everything around it was burned to the ground. As for Janus, no matter how much the rest of them search for his body, they can't seem to find where his body is located and assumed one conclusion, Janus had died.

Reaching that conclusion, Kaido and the rest couldn't help but get anticlimactic about it, as they can't believe that he had died. After all Janus with his esper ability is a powerful foe which took all four of them to kill while being careful to not involve the whole world in their destructive capacity.

However despite succesfully killing him, they somehow realized that the crack in the sky was still there and the being behind the cracked space didn't leave at all.

"Why isn't it closing?" Asked by Kaido

"Instead of closing up, it feels like the crack is slowly spreading, Belial barely manage to stop its advance using world class magic, but I don't think that's enough" said by Argos

"This is bad right? Right?" Asked by Fengris

"Are you serious? I'm already exhausted as it is, and that thing still wants to descend? Give me a break!" Complained by Aileen.

In that moment just as they were panicking on what to do, a familiar voice suddenly rung out in their ears as if reassuring them of the situation.

("Warning! Boundaries of the world's have been breached, an intruder is forcefully making its way into the world, initiated defensive protocol")

It was the voice of the system better yet the voice of their world.

The moment this text were said, blue lightning suddenly enveloped the cracked space, as the system sent out multiple data to fix the boundaries between worlds.

However one thing that they didn't know was that the moment the system did this, it would also fix the space that brought all of them into this world. Meaning if they ever want to return to their original world, they would need to leave now, cause if they miss this chance, they would forever be stuck inside this world.
