Chapter 459: The Fight For The Whole World To See VI

[Proto Earth]

Amidst the flames, Janus then walk through the flames as he arrived before Tomas who is currently grimacing at the wounds he received from fighting Janus. At this point on Janus abilities is incomprehensible, in fact they seemed more complete.

In the past since his abilities is derived from his imagination, the essence of his abilities would always seemed hallow and incomplete despite looking like the finished product. But now that he took matter alteration from Ekaterina and Creation from Lucian, his abilities became complete as it gained its essence itself.

As for the other abilities he had absorb, they are simply accessories that got tagged along his abilities.

With Tomas unable to stop him, Janus grabbed him by the neck, as he begun absorbing his esper abilities. Of course since Tomas seems to somewhat fight agaisnt the absorption, the struggle lasted for quite awhile until all of his esper abilities had been absorb and he was left with nothing.

The moment that was said, Tomas returned to his human form, while Janus seemed even more powerful than he ever was before.

Now that he was done with his teammates, he now then faced Kaido's group all alone but confident all so ever. Of course Kaido and his group has many chances to stop him during their confrontation. However in the end their curiosity won them over, as they simply let Janus steal his teams esper abilities.

Now that he became stronger and coupled with his own original esper ability, the battle between them then entered its final phase.

"Aileen! Do you think your barrier can hold if we go all out?" Asked by Kaido

"Are you serious? Even if I made the barrier as strong as it can be, it wouldn't be able to withstand all of us going all out" answered by Aileen

"I see...."

In that moment Axel appeared behind the group as he immediately called out.

"If your worrying about the residents of this city, just leave it all to me, I can bring them all to safety by putting them in a state of suspension in another dimension"

"Your gonna help us?" Asked by Belial as he looked at Axel

"Yes... after all I did said to Kaido, that I'll be the only one who could take him down, meaning I can't afford him to lose in this situation cause of variables"

"But didn't you help them get to this planet?" Asked by Argos

"That us purely business, now I'm stating the solution I have as a personal request"

Hearing Axel's words and contemplating it for a bit, Kaido then gave a small nod as he said.

"Alright! Take them away... that includes Lilia"

The moment Lilia heard Kaido suggested that she should be taken away from here, she immediately protested as she told him that she can be useful.

"What take me away from here? You can't do that, Kaido! Please"

"Its too dangerous, the battle from here on out will be on another level than anything you've ever experienced" said by Kaido

"Don't worry I can handle it! I'm strong, I'm a strong person... you can count on me"

"You can't... I know what's your current capabilities are Lilia, and I know that your not strong enough to fight this kind of battle... yet"

"What kind of bullshit is that? We haven't even found it yet whether u can handle an even harsher battle or not, how can you say that without even trying"

"Because i know for a fact, that once this battle started, one side will die and one side will survive... at this point on, your the weakest link"

Hearing Kaido said all those words to her, she couldn't help but feel hurt inside as she remembers everything they went through together, even though it's only been a month, but the time they spent together is quite fruitful.

"How... how can you say that? Does everything we experienced means nothing to you?"

In front of this question, Kaido simply look away as he told something towards Axel.

"Do it! Take them all away... take Lilia away too"

With Kaido's approval, Axel then did his job as he begun transporting everyone into another dimension in a suspended state, in order to keep them safe from this battle which would level the whole city. Of course Lilia tried to fight back and reach out for Kaido, but at this moment Kaido's cheerful expression was nowhere to be seen as he simply ignored her cries and turned his back on her.

"Goodbye... Lilia"

The moment Kaido said those words, Lilia was then dragged away by the twisting of space as she disappeared completely alongside all the people in the city. At this point on, the city became silent as all its residents were taken into another dimension in a suspended state where they can be safe.

Unknown to Lilia, that will be the last time she would see Kaido.

Now that all the obstacles are gone, Axel then bowed his head, before he also disappeared.

With that Kaido then gave out his approval towards his team.

"All the variables are gone, you guys can go all out now"

Hearing his approval, all of them smiled in delight as they fully released their aura and mana into the sky which then turned into towering energy which pierced through the sky and shook the whole planet. There was nothing stopping them now, if Janus started getting serious, then all they can do is reciprocate his intention.

The sky darkened, the ground shook, the temperature rise and fall, the rain started to pour, the ground started to heat up, black lightning started to appear, the space became twisted, and the atmosphere became very dangerous and pressuring, there was nothing stopping them now.

Of course all of these was felt by Janus as he stared in shock towards Kaido's group.

The energy he was feeling was something out of this world, it was as if such energy and power itself seemed outer and doesn't belong to the natural order of things. It was like, the power itself is rejecting the very world itself. He had felt such energy from the 4 out of 5 members of Kaido's group.

As for the other one who's energy seemed different from the other four, his power is also somewhat comparable but has a different element mixed into it. If the other fours power felt like an outer, the remaining power that he felt that seemed different leans towards more to darkness manifestation itself. This darkness was neither good or evil, but more like neutral. Nevertheless it is also quite massive to the point that his evolution till now seemed significant

However despite all of that conclusion, he never plans to give up as Janus gets ready to engage in the fight.

While everyone in Kaido's group were busy in releasing all they got, Janus then begun to make his move as he never plans to let anyone survive this encounter.

Conjuring a meteor in the sky using his imagination ability, he then quickly distorted its size using matter alteration and made it a city size meteor falling down from the sky. With that a huge rock overshadowed the whole city in an attempt to destroy all.

But just as the meteor was about to crash down, the five towering energies suddenly disappeared as both Kaido and Aileen appeared under the meteor and easily destroyed with with the farmer's esper ability and the latter's physical force.

With that the whole city size meteor was destroyed, as small to huge pieces of rocks fell from the sky and started to crash to multiple buildings and establishment, turning the city into hell.

Amidst the falling debris Janus then suddenly got dragged down, as both Argus who had partially turned into his dragon form by showcasing his scales, teeth, and tail, and Belial who had his horns out, pushed him down to the ground and continue to drag him across the cemented floor.

After that both of them simultaneously kicked Janus away before they quickly released their own ranged attack.

"Dark Renegade!!!"

"Anima!!!"

The moment an explosion erupted, both Aileen and Fengris begun to run towards the explosion amidst the falling debris as they waited for Janus to make his escape from the flames.

However instead of escaping the explosion by teleporting elsewhere and landing on a safe spot, Janus suddenly engulfed his whole body in golden energy and flew himself up into the air while being surrounded by clouds.

Using his own abilities, he then conjured multiple beam cannons up in the air which covered the skies, before directly aiming at the enemy on yhe ground, and altering their size to be as big as truck.

Once everything was done according to his wants, he then fired off thousands of beams from the sky, which later on glittered like a star, before the hell rain of attacks drowned the whole city.

Because of that both Argos, and Belial were shot down by the mass attacks of the beam, while Aileen was forced to take cover from the fire and Kaido to quickly conjured multiple layers of psychic barrier around himself.

As for Fengris, he simply used his speed to dodge the attacks, while looking for a way to bring down Janus from the sky.

In that moment as if realizing his intent, Kaido saw through Fengris thoughts, as he quickly stretched out his arm and controlled the very ground to to attack Janus by spiking it up towards him. Due to that multiple towering spikes popped out from the ground as it tried to attack Janus himself.

Of course Janus saw these attacks coming his way and used his beam cannons to completely destroy the incoming attacks with their overwhelming firepower. In the end the spikes were destroyed by the beams, as they all broke down and started falling to the ground.

While the attempt was futile, Fengris saw this as an opportunity, as he quickly ricochet himself from the falling debris and climb his way towards Janus in just a few seconds using his speed.

Before Janus could even react, Fengris had already punched him back to the ground, as he crashed down hard while completely destroying his surroundings. 

Before he could even get up Aileen suddenly appeared out of nowhere as she kneed him back to the ground, before ridding him with multiple punches to the face. Each punch pack quite a force as Janus felt losing his consciousness multiple times in each blow.

Unfortunately his will to win this battle was something else, as he used his enhanced strength to grab Aileen by the arms, and quickly submerging to the ground using the phasing ability, which completely trapped her arms by the heavy weight of the earth.

After that Janus emerged not far from her as he lifted up a huge rock, before turning it into a huge boulder while changing its properties into iron. After that he smacked the rock towards Aileen repeatedly until he see blood spewing out from her body.

Not long after Belial came rushing in with Argos behind him, as the former quickly destroyed the block iron using his claws infused with mana while Argos pierced his body with his own claws, before pushing him to crash towards a nearby wall.

But despite Argos fatally wounding him, Janus seemed unfazed as he suddenly self destructed which burned and destroyed everything around the 1 mile radius. Naturally Argos, Belial, and Aileen got caught up in it as the explosion was so huge that it also shook the ground.

Unfortunately the explosion wasn't enough to kill the three of them as Argos backed away, while Belial flew back while dragging Aileen. But even thought they survived that attack, they weren't able to come out unscathed as Argos somewhat burned his arm, while the rest got minor burns.

As for Janus he simply walked out of the fire as he regenerated his whole body as if he was an immortal being.

Seeing his whole body being regenerated, Aileen somewhat realized just how cheat it is if the enemy has a regeneration capability. But since she was also capable of such regeneration, she has no right at all to criticize Janus regeneration.

"Looks like he is also capable of regenerating his burned body" said by Argos

"The only thing we can do now is to keep hitting him hard... let's just hope that his regeneration can't keep up with the damage we inflict on him" replied by Aileen

"As if we have any other choice" said by Belial

In that moment black lightning strike descended from the sky, as it squarely hit Janus and completely overturned the surrounding environment. From afar Kaido caused that attack which literally burned Janus body once more while temporarily stunning his whole body.

Taking this chance while Janus was stunned, Aileen then immediately rushes in, as she arrived before Janus and quickly giving him an uppercut towards his chin which sent him flying away.

While in midair, Belial quickly catches up towards Janus, as he quickly kicked him down back to the ground, before he quickly dived in and stabbed his chest with his own claws.

However Janus simply laughed it off, as he quickly retaliated by twisting the gravity on his palm, as he pushed him away, causing belial to be blown far away and crashed through multiple building tops and landing to the wall of the city.

After that Janus teleported behind Kaido who was sniping him from afar, as he grabbed his head before he could even turn and smashed it down to the ground. After that he teleported again together with Kaido as she smashed his head through the cemented wall.

He repeated this process as he continously teleported into different location while making sure he smashed Kaido's head to anything he could see. Through that he smashed his head through the glass, iron rod, rails, pillars, car, and boulders. After that he teleported up into the air as if he is capable of levitating in the air, and directly punched Kaido's face which made him crashed through multiple buildings before landing on the ground.

But before Janus could even gloat his achievement of thrashing Kaido, Argos then suddenly pulled his collar from behind his, forcing him to teleport once more and appearing behind him.

However before he could even knock down Argos, Fengrjs surprisingly appeared behind him in this high altitude, as he clawed his back, before he spun around and kicked him squarely on the face which made him crash down to the city streets.

Just as Janus was about to get back up, Kaido then made the whole building near him collapse above him, and completely burying him deep within the rubble. Because of this Janus was forced to use his phasing ability as he tried to crawl out from the debris.

But just as he stepped out of the debris, Kaido immediately flooded the whole street into flames as the fire burned Janus once more.

This time however before Kaido could follow up his attack, Janus teleported behind him, as he punched Kaido's side and blasted him away with a hypersonic blast.

In that moment when Kaido got blasted away, Aileen then suddenly appeared beside him as she swung down his moonblade, only to be cut midway as Janus caught her wrist.

In retaliation Janus immediately punched Aileen to the face, which the latter fought back and punched his chin. Of course in this situation Janus stood his ground as he increased both his strength and the durability of his body.

With that he quickly punched Aileen towards her stomach, which the latter countered once more by kicking his chin, which was countered back by Janus as he grabbed her collar and threw her across the street.

After that he quickly catches up to her as he kicked the back of her head and immediately planting her deep within the cement ground.

This time before Janus could even kick her down the second time, Fengris then suddenly came in as he smacked him away by swing a huge truck at him.

After rolling across the street, Janus quickly stood up to face the enemy, as he opened up all the hydrant on the street and used all of its water to assault Fengris who was rushing towards him, while slowly trapping him Inside the water with an intent to completely drown him.

However Fengris broke out of that entrapment as he quickly transformed and turned into his building size fenrir form.

Opening up his mouth to bite down the enemy, Fengris then pounced on Janus, as he tried to catch him by his mouth. However Janus easily caught his bare fangs with both of his arm before flipping him over and throwing him towards the building across the street.

But before he could flow up his attack, Argos then suddenly descended behind him as he slashed his left arm off, before stabbing his chest once more and dragging him through multiple buildings.

"You know... I've always admired dragon's when I was young, in fact I'm still admire them now"

After Janus said those words while Argos stabbed him through the chest, a huge explosion rung out, followed by Argos fully transforming into his dragon form as he fly up while being chased by five snake like dragon neck connected to one body.

Chasing Argos in the air as it flew alongside him, two heads stretched out to bite down Argos tail and thighs, while the other two buts its shoulder and neck. Lastly its last head begun charging up energy on its mouth and breath down a blast towards Argos chest, causing him immense pain.

Unable to escape, Argos fell down to the ground while being stomped down by a five headed dragon.

But before the five headed dragon could even do anything, Fengris showed up in his fenrir form and bites at one of the neck of the five headed dragon.

No matter what no one was willing enough to admit defeat.
