I don't know what I'm doing here. Jade and I are sitting in a restaurant, having dinner, and I don't know how it happened. I mean, I know how, but it's as if my brain stopped functioning, and all of my walls came down at her nearness. This is seriously out of character for me, and I don't know what to about it. When I offered her a ride, I intended to drop her off and go home. But she looked so beautiful that I couldn't let her go. And now, here I am, letting a woman slide through my solid veneer. No woman has ever been able to penetrate my defenses, and this girl just strolled right in and tore them down as if they were made of paper.
