Alone and Lonesome ー Part 10

As the Kalaxour was going to conclude Delphinium, Something Nosedively came in between, Trying to Constring the Kalaxour's skin. Ichigo and Goro were surprised.

It was a Stampede, the one that was seen by Hiro in the Gust. It pushed the Kalaxour back making him fell on the ground with it on top of the Kalaxour. It was trying to rip off the Kalaxour and the Kalaxour was trying to push him down, whincing on the ground.

"A Stampede, Now?", Nana said as she stared at the Scen in front of her completely surprised. "What an ugly sight. Did she devour her Stamen again?", Papa said as he stared st the Stampede.

"It's hard to tell which is the real monster here", The Member behind Papa said following his sight. The Stampede ripped the Kalaxour's skin pulling it out, while the Kalaxour was winning on the ground in pain as it's mouth opened. Opening it's mouth, it made a white core inside it, than it's tail formed the shape of a gun as it attacked the Stampede pushing her down on the ground.

"Guys!...", Hiro shouted from the railing but was surpsrised, seeing the Seen taking place in front of him as he stared at the Kalaxour and the Stampede in horror. "What the hell!", He muttered ider his breath, his eyes wide opened. The Kalaxour opened it' mouth wude open taking aim at the Stampede to fire with it's white bullet.

And as it fired, The Stampede also sharpened her tail as it made a shield to Repress and Dissuade the attack. The Kalaxour wa shuge in comparison with the Stampede. The attack was also huge with lots of pressure as the Stampede's Stamen was decreasing. And as it fell the Kalaxour took initiative and Accentuated it's attack causing the Stampede to fell on the railing of the Transport area where Hiro was watching them. Half of the Plantation was damaged as dire rolled on some of the areas.

The Stampede fell on the area as Hiro stared at it with horror. He quickly ran back to revent himself from coming under the huge mecha and as he ran back his feet halted causing him to fall down.

"Ow...What was that?", He asked muttered himself with his head hung low and his hand rubbing his forehead. And as he looked up to take a look someone fell from the Stampede, blood gushing out of his neck and stomach.

Hiro was stunned for a minute seeing the previous man. He was Code 081, Ths girl with the horn's, Partner. "Huh? H-Hey", Hiro sidled quickly on his side and rubbed his hand taking him in his lap.

"Forget about him. He's done for", Someone said making Hiro to lift his head to look at the girl. Looking at her, Hiro was stunned, in a daze. The girl leaned on the door of the Stampede.

"You're... What are you doing in there?", He asked as he stood from his place. The girl wearing a red bodysuit, which was the standard uniform of the APE special force know as the 9's. She was staring at his face. Her own face was bloodied from one side till her stomach. Her right side of her body was completely injured.

"What, you ask? I'm going monster hunting, of course", She threw her head on the door too, her lips curved up a little. "You're going to pilot this robot alone?", He asked as he stared at her smiling face.

"I gotta go!", She said as she again stood straight, turning herself inside to go in again. But Hiro stopped her. "W-Wait a second",

He held her hand and shouted," You can't go! You're hurt". But she freed her hand from his grasp slapping him and shouted back," Out of my way!".

"This is insanity, Besides, you're by yourself now. FranXX can't be piloted alone. ", He said.

"I'm always alone", Ths girl said, this time her voice carried the burden of sadness as her head hung a little low. "That's how it's always been. I'm used to it", She added.

"No! You'll die", But Hiro was also not going to let her go. This time the girl held her head up and tilted a little but she wasn't looking at him. "I'm not afraid of death", she said.

"That thing's going to start moving again, eventually, and when it does...everyone here is die either way", She said.

"I'm not afraid of death", She said again. "I have a job to do. I'm going", She said. Nana and Dr. FranXX were looking at the way where that Stampede landed and wasn't moving at all. Delphinium was taken back and the ritusl was postponed. Hiro stared at her retreating back.

"I'm powerless...

Right now, I can't help my friends...or fight a Kalaxour....That's What I thought"

Hiro's hand moved. Than he clenched it. Remembering all the aspects passed through his life. His lips twitched hardly.

"But as I stared at the girl in front of me....

He remembered when he first saw her at the lake side and than everything esle went through his mind.

"The words that escpaed my lips were, for some reason....

"Wait!", He said clenching his fist more tightly. The girl's steps halted. "I'll pilot the robot with you", He said with his head hung low. The girl looked up girl than looked back at him with her narrowed gaze. "Oh?.... Are you prepared to die?", She asked.

"I don't know. But as I am now, I don't belong anywhere", He said as he clenched his left side chest above his heart. "That's no different from being dead", He clenched his shirt more tightly.

"So... So take me with you!", He shouted and looked up, just to find her staring back at his face. She was standing in front of him but as she was standing on the Stampede, she was higher than him.

She stared back at his rich blue orbs with a sad smile painted on her thin rosy lips. Her long hairs were falling down around her face. "Huh....You really are just like me. You and I are very similar", saying that she looked down with her eye lashes fluttering, expressing same amount of Grief he was feeling.

"It's been a long time since I last saw a human cry", She than moved her hand near his face leaning forward with a sad and small smile which didn't reached her eyes but still she kept it. And looking at his eyes she picked the drop of tear from the lid of his eye, taking Hiro by surprise and said," I like the look in your eyes. It makes my heart race".

She took her hand back as the tear drop flinched from her finger and she again moved her hand at his direction and opened her hand as saying him to hold it.

"Now come to me", She said as Hiro held her hand and she pulled him inside the robot. And in no time they were floating inside moving backward. Hiro was stunned and was feeling warm as his hair moved back from his forehead, his eyes wide opened, staring at hers and his mouth gaping at her. She was smiling faintly as her long hairs fluttered around her face.

"Let me get a taste of you".

She than moved her chin low and closed her eyes and opened them again staring at him.

"You are now....

"My darling"

Saying that loud she pulled him towards herself and grabbing his neck, and in the next second she kissed him.
