Alone and Lonesome ー Part 9

Ichigo and Goro were staring at the scene in front of them. "What's happening?", Goro asked still not leaving the sight before him. Suddenly there was a halt, The Kalaxour broke through Delphinium's station foor causing Ichigo to fall back on Goro and he held her arm.

"Garage 2 Damaged. Unfit for housing Delphinium", Nana announced.

§§ Ichigo §§

Ichigo is a former parasite with the with codename "015" of the Thirteenth Plantation, where she was partnered in a boy-girl pair with Goro to pilot a FranXX called Delphinium. She was the official leader of the Squad 13.

Ichigo had soft green eyes and a petite build, being the shortest among the parasites in Squad 13. She wears her straight and shoet hair in a razor-cut hairstyle, where her hair hangs lengthier on the right side of her face. She has free-falling bangs that mostly covers her right eye and one long strand of hair on the left side of her face. She also wears a white hairclip, holding back the bangs, on her lefr side, which was a gift from Hiro.

As a child, Ichigo was insecure and self-conscious about her identity, as she cried when the ither children's showed no emotions and she found it scary that she didn't share these characteristic with them. It was not until she met Hiro and he gave her the name 'Ichigo' to cheer her up and explain the significance of having her own that made her self-confident. Even when she was in Garden, Ichigo wad awarded a code number in the teens due to her high aptitude results, earning her recognition as an honor student and a natural-born leader. Because of her high-aptitude, she was chosen as Squad 13's leader.

As a leader, Ichigo is reliable, responsible and serious. Despite her serious disposition, Ichigo is capable of giving some notably snippy remarks. She is also very considerate and caring for her friends. She tries to see everything in a good light, even if she herself doesn't want to. She can also be encouraging towards her squadmates and insist that teamwork is important for all of them to survive. However she is strongly emotional and has always been impulsive and driven by her feelings.

§§ Goro §§

Goro is the former partner with codename "056" of the Thirteenth Plantation, where he was partnered in a boy-girl pair with Ichigo to pilot a FranXX known as Delphinium.

As an optimist, Goro prefers to be open-minded and civil for the sake of avoiding conflicts, even restraining his feelings for Ichigo because of her feelings for Hiro, his best friend. Under duress, he will take over the role as the leader to ensure the stability and survival of the Squad.

Goro is a tall and averagely built man, being the tallest of the parasites in Squad 13, with blonde loose-striked hair styled into an undercut. He wears a blue (sometimes seen as purple) glasses over his striking golden, olive green eyes. He dons the standard Stamen parasite uniform.

When Goro was a child, he disliked being surrounded by people and wanted to be alone and thought that fighting with children's would make them hate him so he could be left alone. He thought that he could handle everything by himself and didn't lean on other people. After meeting and befriending Hiro and Ichigo, However, this attitude changed.

Growing up, Goro becomes very considerate and supportive towards his friends. He learnt to think rationally and to step aside when the situation called for so. He has an unbeat and easygoing "class rep, personality and is the "moodmaker" amongst the Squad. He's a talented pilot and seen by many as one of the mist well-valued Parasite in Cerasus and has a good head on his shoulders. He is considered as the second unofficial leader the Squad and is very mature, responsible and level-headed; he isn't badly shaken when things go wrong.

Goro is selfless who cares very deeply for his friends. He will not hesitate to sacrifice himself as he value others over himself. Although Goro usually keeps a level-headed and easygoing composure and is always the first one to interrupt people from getting into fights and lashing out, he can lose his coolself when people are selfish and overly inconsiderate of feeling of the people Goro cares about.

§§ Delphinium §§

Delphinium is a FranXX from thirteenth plantation piloted by Goro and Ichigo. It is the leader of FranXX platoon of the Thirteenth Plantation.

Delphinium has light blue eyes, with pinkish-red hair that covers her right eye, which is a reference to the straight razor-cut hair which covers Ichigo's right eye. Delphinium has three deep blue fins on the top of its head, and it has a white and pale blue head crest over it that covers it's hairs. Ths chest area of Delphinium is mainly pale blue with a red and orange cres in it, resembling a school sailor uniform. Her torse contains many shooters, colored white and deep blue. There are two red and blue stripes on it's right leg, and it's feet are designed to resemble pumps.

Delphinium wields two spear-like sword called "Envy shop", which contains the orange magma-energy, it can use to defeat the Kalaxour's core. While in Stampede mode, Delphinium takes on four-legged beast like from with Delphinium two spear-like sword into two tails.
