Sukino

I woke up in my cave hungry. I was starving. I needed food. I walked out into the foggy woods, and started towards the path. Anyone would do. I'm just so hungry.

I waited for my pray to come by. I could feel the rumbling of my stomach vibrating my midsection. I could hear the shaking of my bones as they rattled with every shake.

There.

A figure was appearing through the thick fog. It was a female. Just what I was craving. I wait silently as she passes. Then I followed her.

I'm hungry but I also want to play a game.

She walked a certainly nervous pace down the path, and I match that nervous pace, staying the same distance behind her.

She sped up, so do I.

Now she was running. Does she think she can escape me? I ran after her and allowed myself to start to close the distance.

I grabbed her arm and pulled her back. She fell to the ground by my feet.

She looked so small and helpless.

I couldn't wait. I couldn't play this game anymore.

I was starving.

I AM starving.

I plunged my hand into her chest. She screams out in pain as I twist my hand a little. I felt delighted by the noise. I wanted to hear more. I needed to hear more.

I pulled my blood soaked hand out of her chest. I could feel her quacking against my skeleton legs. It was should a nice feeling. This feeling of control...it was pure pleasure.

I could tell by her breathing that she was about to die. I wanted to watched this small, helpless creature die in front of me.

And I did.

I watched as the life drain out of her. I watched as she weathered away. I watched as she spoke her final words to me.

"I knew you were a monster..."

Those words. That voice.

What was I doing?

I looked down to find a body crumbled and lifeless on the ground pressed against my legs.

Gently, as if trying to disturb a sleeping child, I lifted the body up and away from the path.

How did I get here? It's all a blur.

I carried the body back to the cave. There it could be safe. Why do I want to keep it safe? Why don't I want to eat it?

I didn't want to look at her face because the fear of who it was gripped my heart. I didn't want to confirm my theories.

As I walked to the cave I noticed there was light coming out of the mouth of the cave. There was a fire inside.

I hid myself as I peer into my cave. Who is in there? Why?

I looked into my brightly light cave to see two familiar faces. It was Alex and Daichi.

My heart sank.

Great. Just great.

I slowly walked into the cave. Daichi and Alex looked up from their conversation and stared at them.

They stared at the body cradled in my arms. Their faces made me uncomfortable as their eyes grew wide.

I starred at Alex as his eyes started to fill over with tears. I was right. It was Jessie.

And I killed her.
