After hearing a short part of what happened to her, I felt this overwhelming urge to protect her. I pushed my desires fro her to the back of my head since I knew that I wouldn't be able to do to her what I would like any time soon. I will have to take things slow with her. I don't know how slow since I do not know the full extent of what happened to her, and I will not be getting it from her either. I am going to have to earn her trust.

School was very uneventful as I expected. I got home and had lunch. Then I decided to apply to some of the local architecture and engineering firms, excluding Ward ArchEngineering since I wanted to get a job fairly.

The following weeks went the same during the week as the second day. They started with me and Maya flirting, going to school, coming home, going for interviews, then being rejected because I'm either too qualified or they used the excuse that I haven't officially finished my high school years so therefore they cannot hire a minor, even though I am eighteen already. Then the weekend was spent dress shopping with my mother, Maya, and Jesse for the up coming wedding.

I ended up choosing a matte red dress. It was a mermaid dress with a halter neck, a drop back making it practically backless, and a slit on the left side that went from the floor to my upper thigh showing off my long legs as I walked. It had a little train in the back which added to its elegance. On the back, it had a line of silver beading that trickled down it and into the train that was covered in the intricate work.

It was finally Saturday, day of the wedding, when I was woken up at six am to Jesse calling me. I answered her call to find that the maid of honor has left the wedding party. So she asked me to fill in for her. I agreed since I could never say no to her. She told me to meet her at her hotel by seven with my dress and shoes. I was going to get my make up done there along with my hair.

So that is where I find myself now all glammed up and on my way down to the car to take us to the church at six pm. We made it to the church at six-thirty. There I found that I would be walking with Leo since he was the best man. I put on a big smile as I walked down the isle taking in the beautifully decorated church. I couldn't help sneaking a few glances at Leo as the ceremony went on. Once it was time for us to walk together, I couldn't help the giant smile on my face as we linked arms.
