I woke up to my alarms going off. I rolled over to shut them off but ended up on the floor. I pushed up on my arms, now fully awake, and went to stand up. Splat. Face planting it into the floor again, I groan as I look at what made me fall this time.

"Fuck." I drawled out as I looked at the dress I was still wearing.

I rolled onto my back and used the bed to stand up. I smiled at the little victory of not falling for a third time this morning. They usually came in a pair of three.

I walked to my closet and changed into my school unformed without mishap. I hummed as I took off my makeup and put on only mascara. I brushed out my hair and the slight curls left were pulled into a high bun.

I walked down the stairs happily but that was short lived as I slipped on the last step. I glared at Leo as he laughed at my expense. I grumbled under my breath as I walked out to the car.

The ride to school was spent in silence thankfully. Leo dropped me off the same as yesterday, same routine with Jack and all. The majority of the day was spent listening to rumors circulating about me again and then ones about me and Miranda.

It was broadcasted on the news that Miranda's parents were seen escorting her out of the jail house. No one knew why she was in jail or why they were there except that they bailed Miranda out. To my joy, she didn't come to school.

As I sat in my last class, I remembered the words Leo said to me when I told him about the rumors. So I decided to laugh at them as I heard them. I drew a lot of attention to me as I started laughing out of the blue and the people who were talking about me quickly ducked their heads in embarrassment at being caught. Alex just looked at me like I had grew two heads when I first started it.

I was still angry at him and Jack for keeping such a big secret from me so I didn't bother to tell him why I was doing it. In fact, I didn't talk to them at all. I merely glared at them when they would try to apologize.

When the class was over, I rushed to place my things in my locker. Leo texted me earlier to tell me that my office furniture and décor was waiting for me to put up. That put a pep in my walk as I rushed to the main entrance. As I got closer to Leo's car, I could see him smiling at me.
