A little past.. A little present.. Part 2

"Who are you??!" I asked her not minding my deadly tone.

Whoever that person was,I couldn't see her face due to the shadows formed by the rising sun behind her.But from her voice,I could tell she was a girl.

"I don't thing my identity matters here." She replied in a monotone.

"Are you the one who did this?" I asked her directly.

"Uh-Uh.. Wrong once again! This doesn't matters as well." She cleverly dodged my question and didn't gave any reply. So I finally decided to ask what was the most important thing for me right now

"Where's the Princess? You know that right?" I asked as I tried to firmly notice her whether she carried a sword or not but I couldn't find any.

"Oh..? Are you talking about the Goddess perhaps?" She knew that Elizabeth is goddess? How did she know that??!

"Yes." I simply answered,not asking anymore.A silence filled the air as she jumped on a slight lower branch of the 'very' tall Sunphilia tree.

How did she reached their anyways??! But this wasn't something of my concern.

"Listen blue one, you should be much more aware of your surroundings..You are a holy knight aren't you? " She asked clearly sacastically. I can clearly tell that I don't like the vibe she was giving.

"Just answer ,what you've been asked to!" I give off a sarcastical answer as well.

"Hmm...Acting all mighty I see." She paused looking down at me. "But haven't they taught you to act par to the situation you're in? What if I got irritated by your attitude and never tell you where.. I disposed off the goddess? Right Blue one?" This time she sounded rather serious than sarcastical.

I just wanted to beat the hell out of this brat and throw her into a cell. But, whatever she said was indeed right. I didn't knew what she might be capable of and with the Princess in her hands,I can't make my move.

What does she think she is using the princess as a bait to suppress me? Is she even powerful enough to do something like that??

"There could be other enemies around supporting her. There's no way she could slash a demon alone like that.!! Is this all pre-planned?!" I muttered to myself.

"Where is the princes-" "J-Jerico!" But before I could say anything I heard Elizabeth's voice coming from behind.There she was,near the lake I was glancing at just a while ago. She could barely stand taking the support of a bordering rock.

"Princess!!" I ran off to her,as fast as I could. "Are you hurt? What happened to you?!!" I asked in a worried tone when I saw her holding her head tightly.

"I-I don't know!!...M-My head hurts-" "ROOOAAARRRR!!!!!" There came again the sound I didn't wanted to hear ever again.

The demon was already healed??! No doubt ,it was a grey demon afterall.

"Princess!! You must head back and tell the others! I'll handle them till then!" I yelled but she gave no reply. Suddenly,the ground started shaking,.. The demon was standing up!

"Shit! Its coming towards us! I-I must protect the Princess!" I shielded Elizabeth as the demons made their way towards us.

"Can't they go the other way!!?? Hell that brat! Why didn't she told me earlier,I would've ran with the princess when there was time!!"

"Are you still whining?  Heh..You better stop nutting around and run for your lives." The girl came down jumping straight from that much height ,like the demons don't matter to her at all.

"SHUT UP!!" I whined again. Shit! Why the hell am I even listening to her??!

*ROAAARRRR!!!!* And both the demons raised his hand again,ready to clench us into their claws.

"This..This is my end?" I questioned my fate. "No..I won't let you touch the princess!!" I yelled.

Serah's POV :-

Well ..welll...I was kind of roaming around,because I still had a lot time before executing the first step of my plan,when I found these two playing around without noticing the demons.

Although I saved the Goddess from getting punched to a pulp but why would I even give a damn whether she lives or dies right??

Well..there's a very bulky reason behind it but for now,the fact is that I can't afford the Goddess to die...

Huh..And Now.. They're on the brink of their graves again? 😒.. And I thought,I might get to see some moves of the so 'proudful' holy knight blue one.

"Gotta go again!" I said before I was about jump off to their side but,I suddenly stopped as I sensed a sudden flow of energy from somewhere and guess where it came from?? It was....

"OYE BLUE ONE!! YOU WANNA GET ROASTED ?!!" I yelled just in time when the bluenette noticed me.

"What?!" But even though she seemed to be quite pissed off by me,she quickly listened to me and jumped sideways.

"ARC!!!" And just with that,a sudden white ball came peircing the ground hitting the demon head-on! And its head came off!

"Yeah!!... That's the way !!" I suddenly got excited before I even noticed the face of the person who attacked.

" Arre... Goddess. ?! Weren't you among the 'soft' ones out there?" My tongue slipped out,but that was indeed what I was thinking.

"You....." She whispered something and rose in the air.

"YOU!!!.. F*CKING DEMON!!!" And she launched another attack. Well.. That was quite a harsh way to put it ya' know,poor demons..

"HAHAHA!!! I NEVER KNEW HOW FUN IT WAS TO SLAY YOU DISGUSTING PESTS!!" She yelled completely covered in the demon blood which wasn't affecting her mood at all.

"P-Princess..?" I heard the Blue one whisper from a side.

"Looks like 'it' has finally effected the goddess as well." I muttered under my breath as my tone turned serious.

The goddess looked even more pissed off than the blue one there.

Oh! Talking about about the blue one! I think I should make her to some use at least.

Jericho's POV :-

"E-Elizabeth....?" "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING??!!!" I was endlessly screaming inside my mind but I couldn't utter anything out.

"Well..Look whose having a poker face here.!"

"SHUT UP!!" I yelled at the brat.

"HAHAHA!!!" Princess Elizabeth gave an evil laugh again as she summoned a feather white sword using her magic.

" DIE!!"

She peirced the sword through the demon's heart in just a second!! WHAT THE HELL!!?

"Hey!! You should try with the head!! Its more fun!!" The brat beside me yelled in.... Amusement??

"Oh...That's right!! THANKS!!"  what the hell?? Elizabeth is even listeningto her??!! WHY IN THE WOOOOORLD??!!!

"Your princess sure has another side. Doesn't she??!"

"How dare you!!" I punched her in the stomach but she dodged. What the hell is she even doing here?? Is this a show!!?

"I-I have to help princess Elizabeth" I tried to stand up but fell down again because A sudden pain pierced through my whole body. I quickly looked into what the hell was wrong with me now??

"Oh..This looks bad..ChuChuchu!" The brat spouted again! But that was indeed bad, my whole foot was sprained ,it might have happened when I just jumped before Elizabeth's Arc attack.

"N-No way!! I-I have to help- AHH!!" I tried to get up again but the pain was so intense that I fell down again.I kept standing up again-again.. But I just couldn't do It!!

Just as I was about to stand again I suddenly heard a whistle!

"Huh??" I muttered as soon as I realised that it was the brat. But why the hell was she whisteling?

"What the hell are your even doing?!" I yelled at her truely pissed off now.

She kept silent for a while before she spoke again,this time her voice seemed far more serious and adult "Judging from the situation,the sins might be here in no time. So,I'm leaving the matter with you!."

She looked at me before giving a sudden bright smile "Don't worry,I'll keep a watch. And besides,Your princess here isn't just anyone..Believe in her a little alright?" she added.

The way she looked right now and her smile... It surely reminded me of someone but I couldn't put my fingure on it...

"Uh..Huh." I nodded. Even I don't know why the hell was I even believing her but something about her.. made me feel like I can trust her..that she isn't any stranger but someone close.. very close.

"Whatever happens to her just don't let the goddess die! Okay!!" She said as voice echoed before she disappeared as well.

"SHUT UP!!" I yelled. Meybe I was wrong about 'trusting' this brat!

"How dare she say that to my face." I muttered to myself.

........(Present time- At the tavern)...

Jericho narrated the whole situation to the sins,everything that has happened this morning with both her and Elizabeth who was still lying on the bed unconscious and feverish.

Everyone was silent, the new information they just got was indeed something unexpected. The girl they were searching for in the first place with an intent to capture turned out to be the one who saved Elizabeth at one point today.

They all had mixed emotions right now except Meliodas whose face was as usual impossible to read. While the other sins felt both guilty and suspicious regarding the new character that has been suddenly been thrown into their life out of the blue.

"I really can't grasps all of this so suddenly you know." King broke the sudden silence scratching his head in utter confusion.

"Yeah.. Although we suspected her to be pretty strong but she's a young brat after all. I can't believe she would've slashed the demons like that." Dianne said with a slight worried tone.  "Besides you even didn't find any sword right?" she added as Jericho nodded in agreement.

"And.. She knows about Elizabeth being a goddess as well huh..?" Gowther asked drawing their attention back to Elizabeth.

"I-I'm glad.!" Dianne daid while holding Elizabeth's hand tightly. "Whatever the reason I'm glad that she saved her. " she added softly.

"Looks like someone has pretty much secrets to unfold here." Merlin commented as she made her way to Elizabeth checking her fever. "Its finally going down.." she whispered as the room was silenced again.

"Heh..Things are finally getting more interesting now!." Ban spouted in his usual monotone with a clear smirk on his face for god-knows-what reason. King looked at him suspiciously before sighing in anoyment.

"What do you think captain?" Gowther asked again drawing everyone's attention to Meliodas.

Meliodas on the other hand kept silent,his bangs covered his face while he kept gazing at Elizabeth near the bed. Aftera while he finally spoke.

"This... ..is no longer a joke." He said in a serious tone "We need answers.. right?" He said as he stood up looking out at the window.

"Mmhmm!.. We have to find 'Her'!" They all said in unity looking out at the window.

"Just what is your secret.. Lil Sister?" Meliodas thought to himself as a smirk made its way to his face.

........Serah's side (Still somewhere in the forests😑).......

"Aaa....Aaa... AAACHHHOOO!!!" I sneezed again and the woods I collected fell on the ground.

"Seriously..?😒" I muttered since it was the second time I sneezed today. Perhaps someone is talking about me?

Well,Whatever... Its not like its the first time anyways.

I recollected my woods as made my way to my fireplace. I hunted down two boars yesterday and now the second one in on the line to my dinner plate!

"Mhmmm... Although I really like the pink pig that I saw the other day with the sins.I wonder when I'll get my hands on him."

I munched the boar's flesh as I stared at the night sky twinkeling with thousands of dazzling stars in the deep black sky.

"Ah.. This scene still sucks! No matter how much I try ,I just can't be all mesmerized by it." I laid down still thinking about something random.

This is basically the time when I always think about my past.

"Hmm... My past huh..?" I muttered uncnsciously as I fell asleep under the open sky.
