After the storm

Sora almost collapses as he barely stands by holding on to the shell. 'Luckily it's dead, damn I am too exhausted I can see why using mana without spells should be done at a higher level, it's too taxing on the body and mind...'

Sora looks at his armor 'Also the effect of the Freezing Attack is minimalistic when I attack, its more effective when I get hit' Sora looks towards the turtle's tail. In the spot that hit him was covered in thin ice it seemed to dig into the skin slightly.

'The thunder probably destroyed the ones from my attacks I should check out one of the bodies to see what happened exactly.' Sora says as he looks at one of the monsters he killed, but he is quickly reminded that this isn't the time to ponder as a Silver Furred monkey punches at him.

The monkey was fast and Sora was exhausted and dropped his guard. He got punched right in the cheek and thrown to the ground

The monkey laughs at him jumping up and down like a fool not even noticing its frozen fist "UAAA! UAAA!"

"I appreciate the wake-up call," Sora says as he pushes his body of the ground with his powerful arms as high as a normal person can even though he was exhausted. Twisting his body in the air he lands on his feet as he towers over the monkey.

He sends a death glare at the monkey as he prepares with his spear. "Now die." He says calmly as he thrusts his spear at the monkey, the monkey barely dodges but the tide doesn't miss as it hammers its face and burns it.

"UGaa! UgaAA!" It screams out in pain as it rolls on the floor holding its face. Sora slowly steps towards it. 'Damn I can barely move!'

Sora stomps down on the monkey's chest as he points the tip of the spear at its neck. "A fool you are." The monkey stares at his spear his eyes filled with fear and regret. 'Hmm they are showing sentience as expected they get smarter the further down it is.

As he slowly moves the spear towards its neck he notices another monkey attacking him. But this one was bronze-colored and it was slower. Easily catching its fist he lightly throws the monkey away.

Seeing this the silver monkey looks with panic at the other monkey, it tries to trash away from Sora's leg but it fails to get away, seeing its inability to escape it looks at the other monkey with scrunched eyebrows as it yells out "Uguaa! Uguaa!"

The other monkey tears up as it yells back "Ugauu..." Sora stares at this dumbfounded. 'What the hell is going on!'

'Are they family or something?' Seeing its futile attempts at having the other monkey run away it panics, even more, yelling even more.

The bronze monkey gives a crazed roar as it rushed at Sora swinging with its arms. Seeing this Sora simply catches its face this monkey was too weak it probably hasn't even reached the first level limit.

The silver monkey looks at Sora with pleading eyes as it seems to beg for the life of its comrade with tears in its eyes.

Sora blanks out at this 'What the hell! You punch me in the face and laugh at me and now you are pleading me to let your buddy go?' Sora looks around the Battlefield the battle has yet to end more monsters were coming though there weren't any as strong as the turtle and it seemed to be slowing down.

'There is probably someone stronger further down holding back any stronger monsters, and I don't see the captain anywhere. As for these monkeys... There is no point in killing them one is still only at the first evolution and the other hasn't even reached that I won't gain much biomass or exp from them.

Sora removes his leg "Get lost" The monkey surprised looks at Sora and holds up the other monkey that Sora also let go. The monkey looks thankfully at Sora but quickly runs away with the other monkey since it knows it probably won't survive there if it stayed.

Sora holds up his spear and successfully kills 6 more monsters before the gates were opened and the reinforcements came, and with them, a rain of magic spells killing any monster left at this moment the last of the god's power leaves Sora's body as it shrinks back down.

He turned off his Ice body awhile ago as it makes it a bit harder to move.

His height back to 170cm's and his face back to his small oval-shaped face, with a small thin nose and thin lips and large eyes accompanied by a pair of straight eyebrows. His face is filled with exhaustion as he breathes heavily the only reason he is still standing is because of using his spear as a pole to hold on to.

The Necklace around his neck disintegrates into dust 'I guess I used it for too long' Sora decides to ignore it for now.

Sora notices that he is way skinnier as if he is sucking in his stomach 'I need energy my body is exhausted...' Looking at the giant turtle that he was close by to he awkwardly walks towards it and climbs up into the wound he made and starts eating as much as he can.

He goes on ignoring everything else for a long amount of time eating way too much than what should be possible, it was like his organs were working in overdrive and instantly processing all of the food. About an hour passes as he swallows the last piece of the turtle but somehow he still isn't satisfied.

But he finds another body close by, not thinking about it in his half-awake state Sora continues to eat.

~Taki's view

'We finally made it! Damn getting help took way to long! I hope that fool is still alive...' Taki is glaring at the gat being opened by the young soldiers "Kill any monster left! And progress further down! Rescue team look for any injured and bring them to the Medical team!"

Following Taki's orders, everyone begins their assigned job "Let's go and see if we can find that fool." Taki says to her party.

"I think I see him!" Hana yells out. "But isn't that a fifth evolution monster? Who killed it here?" She asks dumbfounded.

Taki quickly looks at Hana and then at where she is pointing, what she sees is a white-haired person barely walking go behind a giant turtle and move out of sight.

"Let's go get that dumbass." Taki and her party quickly go towards the giant turtle. As they walk close to it they begin to hear the ripping of muscles and crushing of bones from inside the turtle.

Concerned at what is happening they quickly walk to the back of the turtle and notice the giant opening it the back of its shell climbing up and looking inside they see a bloody Sora crazily eating anything in front of him be it meat or bones.

"S-should we stop him?" Asks Masayoshi with a freaked-out expression.

Taki ponders for a minute and says "No. Let him there is probably a good reason. Don't let anyone else see this."

~an hour later

"he finally finished," Taki says leaving out a sigh.

"H-how did he eat all of that!" Masayoshi yells out.

*Smack*

"Don't yell idiot!" Hana says with a glare as she smacks him across the head

*Growl*

"No fucking way!" Masayoshi once again yells out.

Hana ignoring his mistake quickly grabs a nearby body and throws it inside. Afterward, she had to throw in 2 more bodies before Sora fell unconscious.
