『Mission of Recognition』

Hours had gone by since they had gone off to enjoy their stay on the planet of Zakuul.

Ento and Vaylin had bought new clothes and backpacks for their things, so they didn't have to go back to the hover car.

Ento wore a gold trimmed asymmetrical double breasted black tunic with a squared off high-collar, with a sleeveless turtleneck underneath, some additional skirting and black trousers. All the while, Vaylin herself also wore clothes of the same design augmented for her petite body type. Both of them had advanced black and gold fiber armor grafted decoratively onto their choice of clothes.

With the Knight Following them around, they didn't really run into any criminals willing to attack them, though there were plenty who would converse with them.

Though she was on a world that belonged to a man that caged her away like an animal, Vaylin had made the best of it. She dragged Ento just about any and everywhere she ever wanted to visit. The freedom was new to her. She wasn't being forced into a spar with seasoned Knights, she finally had a close friend.

She wasn't looking forward to going back to home that was owned a woman who had chosen to abandon her until the very last moment. So as they were walking through the Old World with their Knight's escort in tow. She smiled brilliantly.

That was until a group of Skytroopers and a singular Knight-Captain stepped forward.

Senya Tirall stood before them with a clearly disturbed, but soft, expression on her face. "Come Vaylin, Ento, the Emperor has tasked me with escorting you both to the Eternal Throne."

Ento raised a brow at this as he could easily sense her uneasiness. She had been on edge since they returned, but this was going even further than before. He could feel extreme doubt within her. He turned his head to look at Vaylin, her brilliant smile had just easily melted away at the very mention of her father.

"I don't want to go... He locked me away like a caged animal, tell him to see someone else!" Vaylin snarled lowly at the woman, but as she went to take several steps back, Ento held her hand to keep her where she was.

"What does he want of us exactly? It seems... Urgent," Ento knew that she knew something, otherwise she would be this bothered. His gaze moved towards the parked Zakuul Dropship in the background.

The dropship was hexagonal in overall dimensions with heavily rounded corners. The lower three sides were lower, while the top three were greater, in height. There was a sloped fin on the top, and two extendable wings on the sides. Between the wings and the fin were a pair of engines, directly above the primary thruster, all of which gave a blue glow.

As he continued to look over its configuration, the vessel itself could be considered an alabaster grey, evidently with golden stripes on the edges of the wings.

"He wishes to send you two on a errand... In the Mid-Rim."

Raising a brow at this, he narrowed his gaze on the woman. They wanted to send him and Vaylin off planet? Not even just off planet, but outside of Wild Space? This... This didn't sound all that good. What was he planning? Did he see them as a threat? Was this a scheme to remove his daughter by chance?

"Mid-Rim?" Vaylin blinked seeing this as a way to freedom, even though she knew they'd eventually go back to Ento's original time period.

"The Emperor will give you more information. He has a... Ship for you as well," Senya frowned as it seemed both of the children were interested. She found it to be sick sending them off on the mission Valkorion had in mind.

"Ship?" Ento was immediately interested in what kind of ship was being given to them.

This time it was Ento dragging Vaylin towards the parked dropship. Not that she was giving any resistance since she was not only going with him, but being given the opportunity to leave.

It wasn't long until they entered the dropship and soon Senya joined them, dismissing Eseth to return to Igor and their previous post. A few seconds later, the ship took off and headed straight back up towards the spire. With the exterior doors closed, all they saw was the passing of light and the sound of a lively city outside.

Though as they continued to climb through the atmosphere, the ship would shake lightly.

Vaylin leaned into Ento, holding onto his hand as to get even closer to him.

Minutes later, the ship seemed to stop shaking and it soon came in for a landing within a hangar bay at the very peak of the Spire. It was the location of the Eternal Throne... It overlooked the planet from above the atmosphere.

As the doors of the shuttle opened, the duo stepped out, Vaylin's mother following behind.

Ento and Vaylin both looked out of the Hangar's mouth, their gaze capturing the exterior that was outer space... It was a majestic view, perfect for an Emperor, a person in position of power.

The two would then be lead by a group of Knights into the main corridor which lead to the very top of the Spire. It took them mere minutes to get there, sped along by the Knights.

It was definitely becoming more and more urgent as time passed by.

Then when they approached to massive doors, which slid open before them, they were greeted by scenery of the ceremonial throne. A man in white armored robes stood there, the Immortal Emperor Valkorion, with his back to them as he gazed out to the stars.

"Come," Valkorion called for them, turning to usher them forward with a gesture of the hand.

Vaylin and Ento stepped forward, slowly approaching the Emperor, her mother staying behind.

Vaylin glanced over her shoulder towards her mother, giving her a sour look as she stayed on the other side of the door for a second time. Anger built up inside of her, up until Ento squeezed her hand, bringing her back to attention.

"You have come as I have summoned you," It wasn't praise that he spoke of. "Before I allow you to train with my Knights, I must see what you are capable of, if you are worth my recognition..."

Not even his sons have been offered recognition where it was due, or will be due. Yet he did not feel the emotions he assumed he'd get from his daughter. Indifference towards his offer of recognition, yet she reveled in the idea of freedom.

"The Jedi and the Sith are fighting over an Ancient Station, that up until recently, was hidden in the Mid-Rim. If either side gets control over it, they will represent a threat to the Eternal Empire. I want you to take it from them." The Emperor's eyes rested on Ento who was still holding his daughter's hand. A brow raising, he kept a cool and cold exterior as he looked them over. "I have a X-70B Phantom Prototype taken from a trespassing Imperial Agent in our space. You will use it to infiltrate the Foundry."

Vaylin and Ento both looked at one another, before turning their gaze back to him.

"It seems we have an understanding," He shooed them away with his hand.

After leaving the Throne Chambers, they were brought to another hangar just below the peak of the Spire, revealing a sleek white and black starship with a blue lights. It looked to have been hit by an ion cannon of some sort, but otherwise, had no real damage.

The Knight Escort stayed by the doors of the Hangar, Senya having since vanished from the scene, which wasn't really all that concerning.

Vaylin didn't expect her mother to come with, nor stick around.

Ento looked over the ship, reaching out with the force, touching it with mechu-deru. His eyes widened as he continued getting closer to it.

Vaylin followed after him, her asymmetrical skirting following the movement of her legs.

As they approached the starboard side of the ship, the loading ramp automatically lowered down to meet them. A Gemini Droid then descended from the ramp, a feminine droid with sentient mind. As it noticed the two waiting at the bottom, it came to a halting stop.

"Greetings Ento Rhade, Princess Vaylin. I am Gemini Thirteen, Captain of your vessel, it is a pleasure to be of service to you." She held out her hand towards the two as they stared up at it.

Ento raised a brow at the droid, before they started walking up the ramp. "Likewise," he'd say as he walked passed it. Vaylin following close behind as she was still holding his hand.

As they entered the ship, it was clear this starship was built with luxuries in mind. The interior consisted of white, and sometimes dark grey, panel walls. The elevated platform floors were dark wood and the base was black paneling.

To the left of the airlock was the Central Access Chamber and to the Right was the Turret Access as well as the main hold. As he continued to feel the ship through the force, he was orienting himself with the layout as well as its internal systems.

Once the airlock was closed behind them, he began walking down the corridor and into the main hold, the door ahead of them sliding open for him.

Vaylin entering behind him, would immediately walk towards the couch in the corner of he main hold in order to put her things down, briefly leaving his side.

Ento on the other hand turned around to the Gemini, and reached out with the force. In a matter of seconds, the droid lost connection to the GEMINI Network, being completely liberated. However that wasn't for its own benefit.

"What... Just happened?" The Gemini reached up to touch their head, "I can't hear my sisters." The droid then looked towards the boy who was holding their hand out towards them. "What did you--"

Within the next coming moments, he instilled failsafes, making the sentient droid loyal to him in all aspects. The droid for a split moment remained confused, before regaining its composure.

Without a word, the Droid Captain then made its way through the ship's main hold and disappeared through a series of doors that lead to the bridge. Not too long of a time went by, and the ship was leaving the hangar, before jumping into hyperspace. The hum would overtake the vessel with a calm ambience.

"That worked like a charm," Ento smirked to himself a few minutes later as he leaned against the holoterminal that was erected in the center of the main hold.

Vaylin was now seated on the couch, sinking into its cushions. "This ship is pretty nice... Think you can bring it back with us?"

Ento looked to her and caressed his chin. "If not then we'll have to stuff it somewhere where it'll remain undisturbed, until we arrive to retrieve it."

"My father said he wanted us to take the Foundry... What if we do TAKE it?" She tilted her head looking towards the boy. She knew his ability with machines by now, he could bend the station systems to his will.

Nodding slowly at the idea, "A massive private army to do my bidding..." Ento's gaze narrowed on Vaylin, "Why are you suggesting this exactly?"

"I don't want my father to have it, I don't think the Sith or Jedi should have it... If we take it, no one else can have it." Vaylin shrugged lightly, not really wanting to destroy it either. Even at approximately fourteen years old, she was already thinking that having massive amount of power would be an exhilarating feeling. Especially if she could take it from the hands of her father.

"Well, this ship is equipped with a cloaking device, just like the Scimitar. We just have to see if we can install the same type of device onto the station and move it... Though if it is contested, how will we take it over? I'm sure the Sith would destroy it if they can't get it... Same with the Jedi."

Vaylin rested her ankle on her knee, "You've got a point... Guess we'll see when we get there." She smiled a bit, shifting on the couch before patting the cushion beside her. "Come sit~"
