『Off one's Base』

Padmé Amilada blinked at the two figures standing before the throne as she sat there in her regal red dress. "Good Morning friends of Naboo, I see you are here to say farewell..." Ento and Vaylin were arm in arm, as if it were intuition, she knew exactly who was instigating this arrangement. The Queen's eyes were scanning scrutinizingly over Vaylin's face from a distance, whilst maintaining an expression of almost-indifference.

Ento and Vaylin could both sense the discomfort in their friend in which both of them had spent a little more than five months with.

"We are here for you," Ento slowly snaked his arm out from Vaylin's hold, steppin forward with a light smile across his lips. He closed one eye looking at her still, "We are friends after all."

Padmé's lips parted slightly seeing him step forward and speak, a smile forming over her lips, revealing her teeth for a brief time. For a time she felt warmer on the inside than she did on the outside, her chest racing.

Vaylin was slightly upset that he escaped her hold, but she too stepped forward to join him, smiling lightly toward the Queen, her friend. "And I'm your best friend, so there's that."

Ento and Padmé both looked over to her when she made this proclamation.

The Queen's brows raised so heavily that there were wrinkles within wrinkles on her forehead She wasn't quite sure about her being the best friend, but she wasn't going to argue. Considering how she was most probably Vaylin's only female friend, she was rather happy to see how Vaylin actually viewed her.

Panaka who was standing beside the throne chuckled at the childishness of the situation. This was one of those times that the Queen could be the age she truly was, with friends her age.

"So, you'll be going off to Serenno today?" The Queen asked with a smile across her lips now, not really bothered anymore since Vaylin wasn't hanging on Ento.

Vaylin could just barely touch the thoughts of the woman as she was thinking, and blinked. They both had an interest in Ento, though Padmé was more reluctant if not reserved from doing so. However she was aware of the promise Ento and Padmé had made, she was also here for that exchange of the bracelet.

She flexed her eyelids as she pondered, could Padmé be a rival or a potential ally in love? In a way, she wanted both of them, but in her mind they were already both hers. Both of them were at the age known to be frequently engaging in boy craze, so a pathological liar could say her thoughts weren't too abnormal.

Ento was almost completely oblivious to the thoughts that were going through Vaylin's mind, since he wasn't focusing one anyone's thoughts in particular.

"Yes, after the Jedi replacements arrive," He nodded in response with a fainter smile now on his lips. Part of his didn't want to leave now that he was in the throne room. However at the same time he wanted to go to another planet, experience other things, and to follow Dooku for the time being until his power and influence reaches maturity.

"...Replacements," Panaka shook his head at the word used, a faint grin across his lips since he was known for his prejudice towards most Jedi. It sounded as if Ento was referring to the other Jedi as batteries being switched in. Though in a way, that was exactly what was happening.

Padmé giggled mutedly, careful not to move a lot on the ceremonial throne of the Monarch. "So I've heard... Are you looking forward to seeing other worlds other than our own?"

Ento nodded slowly, though there was plenty for him to see on this world. He had only seen the plains and the cities. He hadn't seen the massive network of tunnels under the oceans and the cities in the great lakes. The boy had never seen a Gungan City.

"Perhaps you can visit on your birthday?" Padmé tilted her head lightly as she gave an inquiry, for in a way she was subtly asking for the birth date.

"Hm.. Thirty First day of the Tenth Month," Ento this time used the force in order to pick up on what she really wanted to know, "Sounds like a good idea... That's in about two months I think." The Standard Calendar had twelve months, spanning 368 days, and he was born on the last day of the tenth month. So in this case, he was born near the end of the year.

Vaylin pursed her lips, hearing his birthdate. "I'm on thirteenth day of the twelve month," she blurted as she wanted both of them to know her birthday as well.

A small chuckle escaped from Ento's lips hearing this and he nodded lightly, "Noted."

Padmé just looked at Ento when he said this, "Noted? What kind of response is that?"

Vaylin just shrugged toward her, not caring much for the blatant response he gave.

Ento blinked to himself, not understanding what he had done wrong, or even if he had done wrong. He then turned his head and looked out the window of the throne room towards the City of Theed.

"This peace is thanks to you... Ento, you should know that."

"...Even If I wasn't here, I am sure it would have come to be as it is now," Ento had this feeling deep in the back of his mind, the back of his heart. It may have happened differently, but he was sure this happened in that other timeline he briefly felt through the World between Worlds. A timeline where he wasn't there to stop Dooku from turning, where it was unlikely he even existed at all. The idea of him not existing in another timeline was ludicrous, but not impossible.

The boy was a singularity, it seemed to him that he only existed in this one particular reality, and suddenly he felt lonely.

"That kind of modesty is unbecoming of a Hero," Panaka stepped forward from beside the Queen's throne towards the boy. Denial often followed Victory, sometimes even more so than after the survival following a defeat. "Your presence, your actions insync with our operations, brought this peace. This Peace..."

"That's... Oddly supportive of you, Captain Panaka." The Queen tittered to herself.

Ento smiled at what sounded like praise he was being given, not really expecting it.

Vaylin reached over and placed her hand on his shoulder, a smirk across her lips. She had been there, she had seen his skills with a well armed starship and his ability to maneuver strongly across the field of battle. There was no denying his capabilities, not as he was now, or will be in the future.

Quarsh just shrugged at their reactions to his words, unphased, returning to his original posture.

It was strange. Ento was feeling superior to most of the people in this room, but not at the extreme level, but as if it was just fact. Vaylin and he were the only force sensitives in the room, and he had held more training than Vaylin herself.

Padmé on the other hand wasn't force sensitive, but he could only imagine how her diplomacy skills could be enhanced with them. Just with the nature intuition through the force itself.

Then that was when his mind went towards the idea of using midichlorian manipulation which he had used to b ring not one person back to life, but two. The technique had many uses, spontaneously creating life being one of them.

Based on the memories and intelligence he gained from Plagueis, he could only assume Anakin Skywalker was the supposed Chosen One that the Sith'ari would and should fear.

The destruction of the Sith brought about by the Jedi Chosen. It was a hilarious idea, a prophecy which would likely complete itself. The boy let out a sigh as his thoughts continued to expand.

"That... Sith you killed," Padmé suddenly brought up a subject which brought discomfort to all three friends in the room, including herself. Especially since Plagueis didn't stay dead and instead was resurrected and given a new identity of sorts.

Ento replied weakly with an inquisitive tone, "Yes?"

"Have you called ahead to the Jedi High Council, informed them of what transpired?"

Pursing his lips as he was asked this, he looked to Vaylin, then back towards her. This very action of delayed response and even looking for the nonverbal counsel of another, answered that question.

"Ah... Nevermind," She smiled faintly now, figuring that he would either do it later, or not at all. Either way, with the Dark Lord of the Sith supposedly dead, she was sure that the only remaining threat to the Naboo people and herself was Palpatine, should he still be lurking in the shadows at large.

"I will be sure to return, no matter what."

"We both will, your Majesty."

"Oh... That's right," Ento glanced over towards Vaylin with a smug looking grin on his face. "Vaylin's a Princess of some Ancient Empire."

"Eternal Empire," Vaylin turned her head to look towards him with an unimpressed expression as he had given away information without her consent. Not that it really meant much to her, while power was something she would enjoy having, she doubted it still existed.

"Princess?" Padmé was surprised, though at the same time seeing her attire, it didn't seem all that surprising as an afterthought. Their clothes were majestic in a way, regel, but not as hindering as her own attire. It was clear where they had come from, the time they visited, the people of her world were clearly prosperous. "Princess Vaylin, I like the sound of that."

Vaylin almost immediately became flustered when her friend said this, even if it wasn't Ento, it seemed Padmé had taken a liking to using the title with her name.

"After we go to Serenno, we could try to reach out to Zakuul," Ento smirked slightly at the idea.

Vaylin blinked at the proposition, not necessarily eager to do that, she just shrugged. "Sure?"
