『Fit as a Fiddle』

Lightyears away the moon of Bogden known as Kohlma, also known as the Moon of the Dead, was given its designation as an everlasting Tomb. It was a known resting place for the Fallen from a War waged on Bogden that lasted a thousand years.

In orbit of Bogden, the moon was shrouded in the shadow of its mother world, hidden from its sun and source of light. Darkness had taken the world, but even in the dark it was far from sleeping. Creatures that were once sentient, humanoids, moved about in their mangled and disoriented ways.

Darth Sidious stepped foot upon the soil of the world as rain poured down on his sickly black cloak. One arm raised above to fix his hood, revealing a sinister looking mechanical arm, graphite colored and crested in gold. The hands were pointed with syringes containing green liquid that dripped at the end.

His yellow eyes glowed from beneath his hooded cloak as they were fixated on a massive stronghold built into the top of a mountainous region. The Bando Gora citadel, home of a Force-Sensitive cult that the Jedi had failed to slay and shrunk away from the challenge of eradicating it.

An evil sneer, Palpatine quested forward, with in his hand a brand new lightsaber hilt. He could sense hostile forces converging on his location the closer he got.

He wasn't unseen. Good, that was the way he wanted it.

"This putrid infestation will be of use to me," that golden sheen never left his eyes as he could see masses of shadows moving towards him in the darkness. Purple glowing eyes glaring back at him. "Or it will eradicate itself!"

"Ahahahahehehehe...." The psychopathic Sith Lord laughed at the sight of the force-worshipping cult which had failed to assassinate his Master. He dragged his feet through the mud with a look of excitement and anticipation on his twisted face.

He had lost his arm in a battle, though not at the hands of his opponent, but a mere boy! One who he should have killed, struck at, before trying to assassinate the Queen.

Though he still wondered how Chancellor Valorum had figured him out. Could it have been the boy? Had Dooku? There were many thoughts in the back of his head, ones he need clarity on, as striking blindly was not something he could do... Not anymore.

His laughter almost turned into a bellow, a darkside scream of rage. Involuntarily, as his new found enemies surrounded him on all sides, he lurched forward and let out horrific sound amplified by the force.

An explosion of force energy emitted from his mouth, tearing the surface of the ground and a path through the rain! The shadows, the cultists who were closing in from the forward front were violently thrown into the air. Some of them were even torn apart by the very darkness that was evident inside of this uncontrolled release!

Activating his saber, emitting a red hue he darted forward. Within the next few seconds he cleaved the head straight off of a cultist wearing a strange horned mask.

It continued as he fought his way to the fortress, cleaving these beings he saw as mere pests apart with his lightsaber. He used the force to down many of them, electrocuting them, before finishing them off with his sith weapon of choice.

They were like playthings to him. They never stood a chance, and nonetheless, these beings lumbered after him. Most of them didn't even use weapons, they were like cannon fodder. It was clear that these were mere minions, husks, beings whose common sense and free will have been removed through the use of illicit substances.

However the closer he dug into the territory, the more treacherous it became.

Sidious was far from blind in the dark, especially with the use of the force, he could see things people wouldn't even notice in the light of day.

"Your struggle is meaningless!" He couldn't help laugh at the powerless creatures as he struck them down one by one and even in groups with the force alone.

The shear numbers were overwhelming and he still left plenty of those who had been behind him prior alive. They were trailing after him, they weren't giving up. This however didn't stop the homicidal being from wearing a wide grin across his lips.

For years he had been hiding his killer instincts, his need to slaughter, to maim those who he saw beneath him. Darth Sidious knew if he killed enough of them, followed their trail... It would lead him to their leader, the very being they had created through torture and meaningless violence.

"Your deaths desecrate this land, I have foreseen your deaths!" He was goading his enemies, whether or not they could understand him or not.

That was when blaster bolts came firing off from the entrance of the Citadel, just as he was coming out to view. "Oh! You dare challenge me? Preposterous."

Expertly Darth Sidious deflected the attacks with his training in the Sith and Jedi Arts, from the one who he saw as his teacher rather than Master. His training was incomplete, but he was still at the level of a Sith Master. All he had left to do was slay his Master!

The very thought of torturing Darth Plagueis to death filled him with undeniable lust for blood.

The bolts were easily sent back towards those guarding the front entrance of the Citadel. It was clear they were no match for a Sith Lord, though there had been bodies of countless mercenaries which littered the grounds leading to the Citadel. Palpatine mostly ignored them, spit on them, looked down on them.

The dead were pathetic, powerless, nothing more than rotting compost.

The massive door leading into the compound opened as he stood before it, those who resisted him lay dead at his feet. The rain caused his saber to sizzle and steam. More eyes, purple eyes, could be seen glowing in the darkness that was the home of the Bando Gora.

"And now mindless fiends, you will die..."

Hours would go by and the corridors of the Citadel would smell like the stench of death. The sound of blaster bolts going off and a lightsaber whirring about haunted the halls with echoes.

A woman with angular features, pale white skin and yellow eyes, raised her head from meditation as she sat on her knees. "Who is this supposed to be...? You are not him."

Silence now filled the corridors, the eery hum of a saber now persisted in the central chamber.

Rising to her feet, she turned her head with a wide smile across her closed lips. Her yellow eyes glistened in the dimly blue lit room from the window. "Mmm... The darkness, it's so..." She took in a deep breath as if inhaling the Sith Lord's scent. She then narrowed her demented gaze upon the being whose golden eyes and pasty white jaw showed from beneath the cloak.

"Komari Vosa, I have slaughtered your underlings..."

"It's no matter, I'll just create more and return in greater strength after defeat you in battle... Turning you into my thrall." She sucked the air and saliva in through her teeth, hissing with the wind. "Now... Who are you?"

"I am but a Messenger, Dear Vosa." The Sith Lord deactivated his weapon, "For I have learned that your former Master, Jedi Master Dooku, has taken a new apprentice in your stead."

Excitement which ones fueled her lust for battle cooled instantly at the mention of this news. There was silence as she glared through the man, as if trying to make sense of what he had just said. Her eyes moved side to side, shifting from one glowing orb to the other.

"WHAT!?" Her shout shook the room, amplified by the force, and yet Sidious was unphased.

Even in her demented and scarred state, she was indeed still quite beautiful in the moonlight. Though Palpatine had looked to eliminate her, she was now of use to him, as long as she sought the same goal... Revenge.

Vosa called two curved lightsabers to her hands through the use of her force, from her sides. Activating them, they showed a vibrant pair of red blades. "Tell me more..." Her chest heaved up and down, she was almost snarling, in anger.

Dooku had all but abandoned Vosa after she had been banished by the Jedi Order, barred from ever becoming a Jedi Knight, due to her infatuations with her Legendary Master.

The very idea of him having a new Apprentice after leaving her in such a state, angered her to the bitter core. The best way to get back at her former master? The man she loved? Murder, destroy this new apprentice, kill them... Kill...Kill...Kill...Kill...Kill! That was the one word which resonated with her mind at this very moment with wide eyes.

Sidious watched as she twitched and started to wildly move about the room. Plotting the demise of the boy who had removed his arm, who had taken her place. Everything was falling into place. "Hehehehe...." A dark laugh escaped his lips as he turned away and began to leave.
