~7~ THE BOY WHO LIVED

'Why did I do it?' Sometimes I question myself if it's the right thing to let Harry catch up with Wizardry. It's good that he isn't as ignorant as in the series but he is too enthusiastic about magic. What if he tries practising magic and ministry learn about me. Of course, I didn't give him Charm books or spells. Even so, whenever we meet up he urges me to teach him something new. He finished reading books about himself and the history of magic. Now he's learning the theory of magic and also practising yoga. And how did we come to this? It's simple actually.

*Flashback*

"Harry do you know what is it?" I asked Harry showing him the acceptance letter from Hogwarts. He tilts his head trying to understand what I mean.

"When you said you have magic, I envied you, Harry. I wished I had magic too and one day a person visited our home and explained about a school for special humans. People who can make the impossible possible for people who have magic. According to him, they are forbidden to disclose this information to non-magical people except some important figures such as key figures of government and her highness, the Queen. If not it'd lead chaos and panic. You know people tend to be afraid of the unknown in our case the wizardry world. He said I had magic and at the age of eleven, a child possessing magic is introduced the wizarding world and accepted a school to groom them and help them control their magical powers. Next September I'll attend the school for wizards and witches. I thought you ought to know this."

Harry opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out. He was shocked to the core. He couldn't believe his best friend also possess magic and they're not alone. There are others like them out there. He unknowingly smiled.

"Do you believe that I will also receive a letter from Hogwarts, Hermione? What if they don't choose me? I'm a nobody and can't afford what they require and after my uncle's imprisonment I don't think aunt Petunia will help me too." asked Harry uncertainty even he did know that Hermione couldn't answer that.

"Harry, I think you will receive a letter from Hogwarts next year and you seem to be a famous person in the wizardry. Your parents were wizards, too and you belong to an ancient and noble house of Potters."

" But Hermione if it's true, my parents didn't die in a car accident, did aunt Petunia lie to me? and why nobody from the Potter house raised me and instead let my aunt to raise me. How can they do that?" said Harry crying for the unfairness fate threw him.

"Ah, Harry, ehem, it seems that you're the only one left. *sighs* A decade ago wizards had a civil war or something like that. An extremist group led by a person they called 'the Dark Lord' hunted down wizards and witches who oppose them or didn't support them. They wanted to exterminate muggle-born wizards and rule over. Another group led by the most powerful wizard of his time fought against them including your family. But the Dark Lord found your family's hideout and killed your parents by a killing curse and he tried to kill you, too. Instead, the curse rebounded and killed himself and you gained your lightning mark. " After Hermione talked about the truth she waited for Harry to perceive it and watched London as the city enveloped darkness and street lights illuminated it.

"My parents died *hic* protecting me? They're not like *hic* I'm told. But I'm left alone *hic* and know nothing about them. *hic* Say Hermione *hic* when will I receive the letter, too? *hic* I want to know more. I want to *hic* make them proud of me. " Harry asked me in tears.

"Oh, Harry. I'm so sorry. I'm sorry about your parents. I wished you didn't know but I couldn't deceive you. You had to know about them. I can't lie. Sorry, Harry. I'm sorry." I begged his forgiveness as I hugged Harry trying to lessen his pains.

"No Hermione. You're right. Thank you for telling me."

After Harry calmed down I told him about the books about himself and how shocked when I read them as I knew they were wrong but their imagination amused me so I offered him to read them and he accepted. The next day I brought my books and lent some of them to him whose eyes were red and swollen, it seems that he cried the whole night, *sights*. He began learning about magic and himself and I kept learning while teaching Harry, too. He promised that he would tell nobody about our secret even those who will come to visit him during his birthday. He'll pretend he knows nothing.

One day when I was exhausted from practice I fell asleep. In my dream, I recalled an event happened back then. Now I'm thinking about it it seems I became a fool. How can I forget something so important? I guess the security I felt around mum and dad and my practices led me astray.

It's important information about my future. MONEY. Yes, you didn't hear wrong. And I lost a chance, too but thankfully it's not too late. When I was hoping to transmigrate to Potterverse 'my wild imagination' I thought about the situation. What if I transmit as myself without a cent nowhere to live what could I do. Then I thought about easy money making ways and started an investigation. How much I can earn without suspicion and cops in my tail.

Then I thought what if I memorize lottery numbers. I researched those numbers winning big and small. Their dates and places generally in London. I spent weeks and prepared a paper full of list ranged between 300.000 to 5 millions pounds. I also researched stocks but they're unreliable who can tell nothing will change except some important development such as Microsoft, Apple, iPhone etc. Even if I can't win the lottery my loses will not be big just some pounds. But what if I win? It'll be unimaginable.

I lost some of my chances but it proved that the numbers and winners are the same. So immediately I bought a ticket for the next one and it's a big deal. If I win I'll earn three million pounds subtracting the taxes. I'm on tiptoe waiting for it.
