~29~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY

My parents, Sirius and I were singing the birthday song waiting for Harry to blow the candle. After cutting the cake, I chose the biggest piece as I love desserts as much as I love ice cream. Mum baked the chocolate cake as always. When everybody ate cake and cookies it was time to open the gifts. I placed my gifts in front of Harry, I wanted him to open my present. It was a Broomstick Servicing Kit as I knew he didn't have his own set yet. Also, my budget wasn't much as I wished to withdraw money I couldn't use it lavishly.

Harry grinned when saw my gift and thanked me before opening other gifts. There was a small blue box with the name of Sirius. After Harry opened it, I saw a photo album and a picture frame. Harry slowly opened the album. It was full of pictures of his parents. It appears that Sirius asked his friends and those who knew Lily and James to sent photos. There were group photos from Quidditch games and parties. There was another photo from Order of Phoenix I saw when I was watching the film. In the end, there were photos of them with Harry or Harry playing with his toy broomstick. Next to the album, there was the frame. I saw them holding baby Harry and smiling at the photographer as they kissed him on his cheeks.

After looking at his parents Harry suddenly hugged Sirius and kept crying for a while. I knew he had a similar frame but Harry didn't have anything belonged to his parents and his aunt didn't give him anything, not even a picture. Later we learned that she burned everything that belonged to her sister.

Mom and dad gift a black suit for formal parties. They knew Harry only had casual outfits except from Hogwarts robes and uniforms. I knew my gift was simple so I kept the biggest surprise for the final. After everything was said and done I played my magical violin and gave a mini-concert. Firstly I played "Butterfly Waltz - Brian Crain", "My Heart Will Go On - Taylor Davis", "Wake Me Up - Avicii", "Let It Go - Idina Menzel ", "Hedwig's Theme - John Williams". It lasted over an hour but we lost ourselves in the music as it carried us to our deepest memories, happiness, and sadness. We spent the day singing, dancing, playing games and watching movies. It was a relaxing break between my busy program.

I recalled the first day Sirius visited Harry. When he found out that he was bullied by his aunt and her family, Sirius got frustrated and sent a howler to Dumbledore about shirking his duties as the guardian of Harry and even when a squip was in charge of surveillance nothing changed over years. So he demanded to be appointed as the guardian because he was Harry's godfather. Sirius also threatened Dumbledore to give up his rights over Harry and not to involve him in his plans. Liberation was good for him as he didn't know about Peter, yet. He became a diligent godfather and spent his time teaching Harry spells and pranks. It was in his nature *chuckles*.

A week later we got our later from Hogwarts. I wished that narcissist wasn't our DADA teacher but my prayer didn't come through *sighs*. I opened the letter stamped by Hogwarts seal and written with green ink.

I had other books except those belonging to Gilderoy Lockhart. I also don't plan to buy his book and at most would ask from others during exams. I would change the cover of my books to look like his book so there wouldn't be a problem. If necessary, an anonymous letter will be sent to the Daily Prophets (not me) and Gilderoy Lockhart will be accused of deceiving his readers and not teaching his lessons as he is not qualified so I believe that he will leave Hogwarts as well and Dumbledore will be questioned for choosing such teachers by wizards.

Mum and dad let Sirius bring us to Diagon Alley and we got on the Knight bus. Sirius knew how to find the bus, he told us he slept on the bus for a while when he was young before James found him and brought him to his home. Stan sent us to Leaky Cauldron and we passed through the pub without getting attention. Sirius didn't want to be known yet as it was hard for him to live in Azkaban and still others didn't believe in him.

After getting everything on letter Sirius let us to Quality Quidditch Supplies. Those two forgot about me and began discussing the best broomsticks and Quidditch teams ever. I got bored and left there before telling where I was going.

I saw a queue and remember Gilderoy Lockhart had book signing day. It was also the day Ginny got the diary. But I don't want to see Weasley family so I plan to steal the notebook at Hogwarts because it was safe and away from Malfoys.

I saw a pet shop and decided to stop by. Every inch of the wall had cages. It was smelly and very noisy because the owls, ravens, cats, toads, and snakes were all squeaking, squawking, jabbering or hissing. There were Streelers, Fire Crabs, Puffskeins, Transforming rabbits, Chimps,

Ferrets, Double-ended newt, Flobberworms, Bats, Baby Nifflers, Baby Pygmy Puffs and much more. I saw Crookshanks in a cage behind the room hidden by other cages.

When saleswoman saw me looking, she stated how nobody wanted Kneazle crossbreed and it had been an inhabitant of the store for a long while. I saw his yellow eyes sparkling with intelligent but there was also a feeling of loneliness. When I got near, he let me fondled him after he let me do it. When the saleswoman saw it she told in a hurry that the cat didn't allow her previous customers, who wanted to buy him, when they wanted to fondle or pat him.

I knew it was fate but even so, I bought him also things I would need for him like his food, water bowl or carrier for travels or cat toys. It was more expensive than I thought nevertheless I didn't buy anything so I had money with me. After leaving the shop I returned to the Quality Quidditch Supplies because those two were still there. When they saw me waiting in front of the shop angrily they got embarrassed and I saw Harry blushing. Sirius bought the newest Firebolt for Harry also a Chudley Cannons Jersey. I had to drag them and swore that I wouldn't go shopping or if I had to I should never let them enter the shop.

When they saw Crookshanks both of them got surprised. He was a big cat and was looking down on them, it seems my new partner was angry for me so I fondled him one more time before entering the Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour. They bought chocolate and raspberry flavoured with chopped nuts ice cream as an apology and Harry chose strawberry-and-peanut-butter ice cream for himself while Sirius asked for chocolate and vanilla flavoured one.

When we arrived home Crookshanks slept on the bed I bought for him after eating his food. before leaving I heard Sirius murmuring. "He's the most intelligent of his kind I've ever met."
