The numbers that appeared before guy slowly disappeared, the countdown had reached 0, and a vast world appeared before him. A vast ocean of blue waters appeared before him, the red skin of the well muscled orcs around him stood in sharp contrast to the seemingly endless blue waters that surrounded him.
Several of the orcs turned to look at the person who had appeared before them. The orcs were dressed as you would imagine pirates to have dressed, though none of them wore shirts. Including the females. Well, Actually all of the sailors were females. They wore loincloths that literally covered nothing, their only real purpose seemed to be to hold up the pistols that were on their belts. Each of the orcs had a set of horns on their heads, and their lower canines jutted out of their mouths. Despite their odd looks, they orcs could be seen as rather beautiful, their complexions were nice, and facial features rather symmetrical.
A notification appeared before him as he stared at the mostly naked Orcs.
A second notification soon popped up.
Guy selected yes without hesitation as he approached the nearest orc. He bowed as he approached. "Greetings beautiful orc, could you direct me towards your captain? I need to introduce myself."
The orc grunted in response, pointing towards the enclosed bridge. Guy thanked the orc before he made his way to the bridge. when he arrived he knocked on the door, waiting for a response. The door was flung open, and a female orc that looked more human than the others greeted him. She was completely naked, Her nipples were pierced, with a change hanging between them, and was covered in tattoos.
She looked him up and down. "You must be the mechanic the Humans promised to send us. I told them to bring a female. We don't need a week male aboard our ship, all you will be able to do is be eye candy for the real soldiers." The woman sighed as she spoke "Well beggars can't be choosers I suppose. I will escort you down to the Engine room. "
She took him to the deck, before going through a door that led to a set of stairs. They walked for an incredible distance, at least half a mile, before they arrived at the engine room. It was located in the very rear of the ship. "Inside you will find the head mechanic sergeant Erabel. Do not make her angry or you will regret it."
Guy nodded as he opened the door. The engine room looked completely different than the rest of the ship. The parts of the ship that he had seen were incredibly well taken care of. The were so clean that everything shined. On his way here he had finally seen a male orc. He was pale and sickly looking compared to the female orcs. His coloring was more orange than red. There was no Ferocious look his his eyes, as he had seen from the females, rather a soft domesticated look. The orc had been mopping the floor when Guy passed with the captain, And bowed fiercely when she passed. Not rising his body up until she was well past.
The engine room stood in stark contrast to cleanliness of the rest of the ship. A small orc data at a work bench, covered in oil as she was working on some kind of mechanical instrument. She did not look up as she continued working. "Even after I repeatedly told them To send me a female mechanic they sent me a male. How fucking useless are these humans? Don't they know the males of our species are useless violent beasts? only when they are castrated can they be domesticated, though their brains are still shit, and they don't have the dexterity needed for a mechanic. Thank the goddess we finally figured out that castration works on them, otherwise we would still be primitives worshiping the damn Dwarves that enslaved us. "
Guy bowed to the mechanic in front of her. "I apologize for being a male Sergeant Erabel. I can however tell you that I am only a half orc, and that i have a decent head on my shoulders and am not a slave to my lust."
The orc woman snorted in response. "Well they at least taught you to speak with respect. I will give you that. That work bench over there is yours. I need you to complete the repairs on the items on the bench. Do a good job or I will throw you overboard and demand they send me a real mechanic." Her tone implied that a man could never be a real mechanic.
It did not take Guy long to analyze the parts in front of him. During his studying in college, and even before that he had looked at the schematics of thousands of items, one of the few things his father deemed appropriate for him to be doing. What laid before him was a classic assault rifle, though the firing pin had been damaged, and needed to be repaired.
He summoned his Tool, having it take the form he needed he quickly went to work. He did not have a spare firing pin lying around, however he had once read that a screw or nail could be used to replace it. The process did not take very long, as his Tool could take any form or forms he wanted.
Soon the firing pin had been replaced and he assembled the rifle. He then picked up the next item and soon found a suitable method to repair it. The process went on for hours, the pile did not seem to be getting any smaller despite the dozens of repairs he had completed. Finally he was exhausted, his stomache was growling, and he had enough. He stood up and stretched, only now noticing that Erabel's bench was empty. He looked around to find her at the end of his bench, examining the repairs he had made. She only grunted in acknowledgement to his work, before passing him a tray of cold food. "Eat quickly, you have more work to do."
