Those Who Cares

Yyan and Cajun was in the middle of discussion when they heard some movements.

Yyan's heart jumped and looked towards Yue, sure enough, it was her that made the noise. She finally woke up. He immediately went besides her.

"How are you feeling?" Yyan can't help but ask.

Yue didn't answer but tried to reach out to his head to pat it.

When Yyan saw what Yue did, he heaved a sigh of relief.

His Yue was still there and was okay. It was just like three years ago.

"Good, don't move too much, you still need to rest"

Yue opened her mouth to speak but coughed instead.

Yyan was instantly panicked and looked at Cajun.

Cajun who was watching by the side wanted to roll his eyes.

His friend was overreacting. He didn't expect that there will come a time that Yyan will lose composure over a simple cough.

Cajun sighed and walked besides Miss Yue and handed her a glass of water.

Maybe because she coughed a dry one some traces of tears can be seen from her eyes and it was a little red, it made her face more delicate.

It was the first time Cajun really tried to take a look at her and he can't help but be stunned if only for a second. He was not a person who really fall aesthetic wise.

But that didn't escape the sharp eyes of Yyan which glared at him afterwards.

Yyan snatched the glass away from Cajun's hand that was still suspended in the air. He wouldn't let his friend touch even the tip of his Yue's fingers.

Need to hide his Yue. She's attracting too many unwanted eyes.

Yue was watching by the side and chuckled only to choke again by dry cough. Why was it so hard to be a patient.

Yyan made her drink water only then did she stopped coughing painfully.

"There's no need to say anything for now. Just continue to rest. I will inform Kiro that you wouldn't be coming to work for two weeks so take your time to recover"

"Thank you brother. I want you to rest as well. Look, I can see the dark circles in your eyes. You've worked hard" Yue finally managed to speak.

"I will after you"

Cajun wanted to exit from the drama. Clearly they are brothers and sisters but why does it felt like he's being fed by dog food.

Cajun observed the two. He was thinking about something that could possibly change their lives.

"Big sister! Wuwu" Kil suddenly appeared at the door and ran towards her bed, but because his legs are short, he can't climb atop. All he can do is reached out his hand to touch his big sister.

Yue eyes lighted up when she saw her favorite baby. She wanted to carry him over but her brother stopped her.

"He's too heavy, your wound might open up" Yyan looked stern.

"Kil is not heavy, hmp, but I will not make it hard for big sister. But you let big sister get hurt, I will not forgive you" Kil stared at Yyan angrily.

Yyan stiffened. It was a shadow in his heart.

Yue didn't want to see that look in her brother. She took his hand and gave him a reassuring smile. She truly didn't mind getting hurt for him.

Kil knew he shouldn't have blurted that statement but it's too late and he was really angry, but more on himself, because he was not big enough and strong enough yet to protect his big sister.

Tension prevailed in the room, until it was broken by Kiro who knocked his baby brother's head.

"Meanie, do you want me to become dumb like you!" Kil immediately reacted.

"Stop being careless and apologize" Kiro was serious this time.

Kil knew he made a mistake so faced Yyan with a crumpled face and said his apology but in a small voice.

"I didn't hear you" Yyan didn't let the small one go.

"I said I'm sorry!" Kil shouted then faced his big sister "Big sis, I didn't mean to do it. I'm sorry" Remorse was seen on his face this time.

"I know, but no next time. Brother Yan is important for big sister and doesn't want to see him hurt so you shouldn't blame him. I will not allow you or anyone, even myself to blame him" Yue made her stance clear. Even if she's talking to the child, her claim was also for other people to hear especially his brother.

"I understand big sister" Kil meekly said.

Yue pinched the chubby cheeks of the obedient baby.

Ker and Linn also entered the room. The once spacious room was suddenly filled with people.

"Boss, well, I won't be able to go to work for a while, but I already made drafts I'll just send it to you through email" Yue started with Ker. She felt awful that she have to take a leave just as soon as they were getting started with the preparation for the Fashion Fest.

"You don't have to think much about it. Just recover well so that you can come back immediately" Ker was nonchalant about it but one will know that he cares.

Her visitors didn't stay too long to avoid tiring her.
