Yue Doesn't Like

The table filled with highly nutritious foods were already set up for the two of them.

Those were all Yue's favorite, but at this point, she has no appetite to even take a bite.

"It was an engagement grandpa arranged ten years ago" Yyan tried to explain, but he still didn't get a response from Yue.

It never occurred to Yue that Yyan might also be engaged. Ten years ago, the original owner was still alive but she didn't really care about the family matters so the information was not available in the memories she inherited.

Yue was upset, she shouldn't but she can't help but sulk knowing that her brother's fiancee is that woman.

No, she can't let that woman get her brother.

"Yue, tell me what are you thinking?" Yyan was secretly rejoicing that Yue felt bad knowing that he was engaged but at the same time he didn't want for her to continue to be upset.

"I've met brother's fia-, I already met that woman, I don't think she suits brother. I don't like her" Yue choose a straightforward approach. She decided it would be better to direct about her feelings especially for those people she truly cares about.

Yue especially trusted her brother, in this world, she knew, only her brother wouldn't wrong her.

"Oh? Did that woman bully you?" Yyan hinted that Yue didn't just dislike that woman, she loathed her. He didn't hear anything about his Yue encountering that woman, nor them having a dispute, so where is her strong dislike coming from?

"I'm not sure if brother is familiar with the model named Moon?" Yue cannot disclose her past to Yyan, at least not for now, but she decided to use this opportunity to investigate the cause of that woman's grudge against her. [Note: Yue means moon, I used Moon this time to denote Yue's original entity as a model, it also serves as her pseudonym]

Yue knew her brother can definitely get to the bottom of it, that, he might also piece some clues about her true connection with Moon but she just have to confront him bravely when that time comes.

"I have a vague impression of her" Yyan wouldn't usually pay attention to models as he thought they were a nuisance, a common problem for wealthy and handsome bachelor like him *ehem, but he did remember Moon. It was not because she tried to get his attention but because he thought she looked like Yue at a glance. Now that he think about it, his Yue and Moon-

"Moon was an orphan. At the age of fifteen, she was discovered by a scout and was offered a modelling job. Knowing that eventually the orphanage will have to let her go by the time she reached 18, she decided to take on the job. She worked her way through the top, and when she finally reached the peak of her career, she suddenly disappeared from the scene. No one mentioned her again. I tried to search for her in the internet but all the news about her was taken down, it was as if she didn't exist in the first place" Yue tried to tell her own story in a third party perspective, not allowing any excessive emotions to leak.

Yyan was silent, he knew Yue was not done with her story, but he flinched when he heard her next sentence.

"Brother, I actually remembered everything" Yue continued.

"During those three days I was unconscious, I remembered everything and met my old self. I managed to reconcile everything. Moon played a huge role in it. I remembered, during those times that I was drowning in darkness, I accidentally saw Moon in a fashion show. At first I envied her, she was so confident and brilliant as she showcase herself, unknowingly, I started following news about her. I discovered about her past and how she braved through a lot of challenges, then I became her fan. I even thought it would be nice if she could wear one of my designs, but now she's gone. I don't know if she was still alive. But during the past few years, I stumbled a news about her. I wasn't able to confirm its validity but it seems that she was already dead and that woman was a factor. I also once saw that woman in Country F, she doesn't treat her people well" Yue felt that she was being shameless in putting herself in a pedestal and for sewing lies, but its the only way she can present her case to Yyan.

"So brother, can you please break your engagement with that woman. She doesn't deserve you" Yue pursed her lips. She had already exhausted her story telling ability, hopefully it was enough to convince her brother.

"I believe in my Little Yue. Don't worry, I didn't really intend to marry that woman" Yyan always had a plan to break his engagement with Ashaina even before Yue appealed her case, he just didn't think that the issue was urgent so he delayed it until now. But after hearing what his Yue had to say, he thinks it's time to put his mind into its execution.

"I knew my brother wouldn't have such a bad taste" Yue sighed in relief knowing that her brother saw through that woman. Just saying her name leaves a bad taste in Yue's tongue.

"Of course, if I were to marry, I would choose someone like my Yue" Yyan said earnestly.

"But it's hard to find someone like me, brother might end up not marrying at all" Yue wrinkled her face taking Yyan's standard seriously. That just shows that she also think highly of herself. Talk about being conceited, haha.

"Then should I marry my Yue instead?" Yyan teased, but only he knew what he really meant.

"Brother is such a tease. Don't worry, I will try my best to get the best wife for brother. Yue is confident with her taste" Yue didn't notice that Yyan got somber after she finished her sentence.

Yyan will let his Yue for now, he didn't want her to discover his dark side for the meantime.

Yyan also needed to take a look at the information Yue provided. He felt like there's a lot of holes from her story. It's not that he didn't trust her, but there are some things he wanted to confirm. He can feel that she wanted something that's why she mentioned a lot about Moon, he just wasn't so sure how he should address this. Things are not so simple as she made it out to be.
