"Brother Yan, I want to learn how to kill my enemies" Yue suddenly suggested. She thought of it just now and it seems appropriate.

"Hmm, is it because you think I can't protect you anymore" Yyan knew he was being petty. It would actually be good if his Yue can protect herself. But he thought he it would be better if she could be more dependent to him.

"No, I don't want to drag brother down. I know that besides this, our family also have lots of enemies and they may target me now that I've recovered. I want to stand by brother's side" Yue didn't hide her thoughts.

"I know it pained brother a lot to see me hurt. I don't want to be the cause of your pain, so I want to be able to protect myself as well"

A feeling of satisfaction spread through Yyan when he heard Yue's reason.

"Alright. It was your right as a daughter of the Crest Family. As soon as we get back to Country C, I'll arrange someone to teach you everything you need to know" the moment Yyan realized his true feelings, he refused to call Yue his sister.

Why did Yue feel like there's an alienation in her brother's statement. Is she just being sensitive?

"Thank you brother" Yue disregarded that earlier feeling and gave her brother a sweet smile.

Yyan patted her head.

"How do you want to handle that woman?" if it was Yyan, he would already dispose of her. It doesn't matter even she was the granddaughter of his master, the moment she put her paws to his Yue she's already a dead man in his eyes. But he knew his sister wanted to take this particular matter in her own hands. And if that's what she wants then he'd be happy to let her play. He would clean up after her.

"I wanted to extract everything from her own mouth. I needed her alive for now and be tortured by the evil deeds she committed" hatred spilled from Yue's eyes.

Yyan reached for her face and pinched her nose.

"Bwoderr, Yue can't bwead" Tears can be seen from the corner of her eyes. Yyan let go.

"Don't get too invested with hatred, you'll get ugly" Yyan didn't want to see Yue getting obsessed with revenge.

"No way, Yue will be forever pretty" Yue even flipped her hair.

"I'm serious" Yyan's was stern.

"I know, don't worry, she's not worth it" Yue said meekly.

Yyan will also not let it happen.

"Now, let's move forward to the most important matter" Yyan placed his elbow on the back of the sofa and leaned his head on his hand.

Yue thought her brother was elegantly handsome even if she knew she would be under interrogation.

"Yue doesn't know what brother is talking about" Yue truly can't think of anything else they should discuss.

"Rei" Yyan uttered one word and Yue revealed a guilty face.

"Brother- I think that Rei may not be that bad. I think I might have misunderstood him a lot" Yue was open about it. She won't deny if she was wrong else reparation will be too late.

"He didn't hesitate to offer help to get me away from Ms. Lancer" Yue added. Actually, it's one of the reasons she changed her mind about him. He helped her vent her grievance. It was satisfying to see that woman being thrown away.

She thought that he just really cares a lot for the previous owner that he sometimes go beyond reason and it's easy to misunderstood his actions. Like, if someone else saw him easily throwing another person almost to his death then that someone would probably be horrified. If the incident years ago involved a more morbid scene then, to the child Yue, wouldn't that really be traumatic?

But it was different now. She can look at a different perspective, and without the interference of the remnant fear, she can see things more clearly.

"There's a big possibility that killed father" Yyan threw the bomb to her.

"Is there a concrete evidence?" but Yue can't feel angry about it if it was true. For a person she never met, she can't sympathize for his ending. Besides, the body doesn't seem to have a good impression of the man as well.

Yyan saw that Yue doesn't react negatively. He kind of expected it. The previous patriarch of the Crest family was not the most pleasant man after his mother's death.

But he was also surprised that Yue sort of trusted Rei. Was she hoping that he doesn't have anything to do with it? He can feel the monster rising within him.

"None" that's where Yyan gets frustrated. With all the resources he had, he can't find a solid evidence on his father's murder. The key people would be Yue and Rei, but Yue was still not clear on what happened. He had to confront Rei if he wanted to get answers, but he doubt the man will cooperate nicely.

Just from their eye contact earlier says a lot about their conflict.

There's like a big hand covering the case. Yyan couldn't help but think of the Royal family.

"Then-"

"I still advise you don't have any dealings with the man as much as possible. The Ashers specialized in extracting information. They have certain ways to manipulate people to do their bidding. Besides the scientifically researched methods, they have the innate ability. On how it exactly works, no one was privy to the information. Our family may have a lot of dealings with them but its purely related to national security" Yyan tried to cut any spouting sympathy Yue might try to nourish less it be too late to pull her from Rei's clutches.

Yue was a bit unconvinced but nodded her head in agreement. She didn't want to create trouble for Yyan.
