"You called"

Linn's name reflected on Yue's phone.

Yue was spending her vacation by exercising and practicing shooting, but besides that, she basically does nothing. Now that Linn called, her routine will probably change.

"And if I don't? You would have probably forgot that you still have a friend!" Linn was sulking on the other side of the phone. After the Fashion Fest, Yue just disappeared without saying anything. Her plan to drag her around Country F vanished.

"Speak softly, my ears hurt" Yue was just exaggerating but its really uncomfortable for her more than an average person.

"Geez, alright, my bad" Linn forgot about Yue's condition.

"What's up?" Yue can almost guess what Linn would say.

"Let's go out. There's a newly opened restaurant in town, let's try it!" Yue smiled when she heard that. The two of them got along well because of food. If given the money to splurge, they would rather hop around restaurants than go shopping.

"Sure, I'll ask my brother if he wanted to come". It was Saturday and Yyan was staying at home, since there's still time before the servants start preparing for lunch, maybe they can eat out for a change.

"Eh, your brother?" Linn didn't expect for Yue to bring her brother.

"Yup, what's wrong?" could it be that her friend didn't like her brother? Yue found that impossible though.

"Nothing, it's just that, I might not be able to eat if he's there?" Linn was actually excited by the idea of dining with Yue's brother but she knew she would be flustered when the time comes.

"Why?" Yue can feel that Linn was agitated but she can't tell why is friends reaction is so weird.

"Aish, are you dumb? Your brother is like one of the ultimate bachelor in the country. How can I eat when his handsomeness will take away all my attention for food" Linn rolled her eyes. Her friend might be immune to her brothers charm but it's not the same for commoners like them.

"But Kiro is also like that and you are no different around him" true enough Yue doesn't think the same way as Linn. Well at first, she was also distracted by Yyan's looks but she was more overwhelmed by his care towards her that she was inclined to view him in a more familial way, besides, she was supposed to be his sister isn't it?

"How can my boss even compare. He's just a loud mouth" Linn would never admit that she was tricked into thinking that Kiro was a gentleman. It has something to do about the first time she met him and it would be a story for another time.

"Then I won't bring my brother anymore" Yue suddenly realized that it is really inappropriate to suddenly bring her brother when Linn was not familiar with him. It might make things awkward. Maybe she'll try to set up a gathering sometime to let those who are close to her can bond together.

"I suddenly felt bad"

Linn thought she might've overreacted.

"You don't have to. He might get inconvenienced as well if the people there will gawk at him instead" the place Linn wanted to go to is for sure a commoners place. Yue wasn't so sure if her brother had tried going to such place. He might get a stomachache or something since he is used to eating foods with high quality ingredients and meticulously prepared.

"Well that's true. I wish I also had a brother like yours but I was also thankful I didn't" Linn knew how much attention Yyan is giving Yue. A day never passed that he won't remind her to eat her lunch and even fetch her from work.

"Why?" there can never be more perfect brother than Yyan.

"Because I'd rather have him for a boyfriend, being handsome and caring and rich. If being a sister already receives that much care, how much more being his lover" Linn got excited imagining such scenario.

"Hmp, I won't give my brother to you" Yue can't help but frown when she heard that. It never occurred to her that besides that woman, somebody else might replace her.

"Why, he could fall in love with me you know" Linn thought it was fun to tease Yue.

"Impossible" Yue strongly disagreed.

"Even if I'm not as good looking as you my looks is still above average" Linn was not boasting. Even if she doesn't have a boyfriend, it doesn't mean that no one is courting her. But of course, she is also aware that Yue's brother is a tall order. Not everyone can be qualified as Mrs. Yyan Crest.

"It's exactly because you're not good looking as me" Yue snickered. If the woman is not even as beautiful as her, how could she even dare to look at her brother.

"Pei!, it's not as if you can marry your brother" Linn wanted to cut Yue's long nose. She can't believe that her friend's narcissism is this extreme.

Yue was silent for a while, "Even so, no one is good enough for him. I won't let him marry anyone else"

Yue didn't feel that there's something wrong with those words that she said.

"I thought he already had a fiancée" Linn vaguely remembered an old rumor about Yyan's engagement.

"I already told brother not to marry her. She can't even be compared to you, but it's still impossible even for you" based on that woman's reaction when she saw Yyan back when they visited the Old Master, she definitely likes her brother so much. She can imagine her remorse once Yyan announced the cancellation of their marriage.

Yue just felt a little sorry for Aunt Dianna but she really can't allow the union of those two, whether it is for personal revenge or Yyan's welfare.

"Tsk, t's only now that I realized how you're an extreme brocon. Who was his fiancée by the way?" there had been no concrete detail regarding the Yyan's rumored fiancee.

"Ashaina" Yue disdain to utter that woman's name.

"The international model and number one endorser in the country, that Ashaina?" Linn eyes widen when she heard the name but then thought that it was only fitting.

Yue made a small sound.

"Ashaina, as in the daughter of the Lancer family?" Linn further confirmed.

"Hmp" Yue was irritated. Why does Linn keep on harping to this subject.

"Oh my goodness! I can't believe you said I'm better than her. How much do you dislike the woman to say that?"

"Hate her to death. But even if it's not so, I still know you're better than her" the woman was obviously pampered with skin care, without it, she would just be like an average beauty and it's Not an exaggeration. And her attitude is like poison, so how could she even compare to Linn's natural beauty and kindness.

"Where did you put your eyes today? Shes's like the dream girl of every guy in the country"

Well, that's what was rumored around.

"Silly. We, the Crest siblings is not blind"

"Alright, alright. But you're sure I'm better than her?"

"Idiot"

"Hmp, I'll let you off this time. It's my treat later"

Linn was actually touched to know that Yue views her highly.

"Haha"

"I'll send you the location. Let's meet in an hour"

"Got it, later"

"Later"

They finished their conversation and Yue went to her brother's study.
