Yue closed her eyes and adjusted her breath.

She is so tired, she wanted to sleep but she shouldn't.

Yue once again open her eyes to see if she what kind of place she entered in.

Darkness was prevalent, but the place is filled with spherical crystals that glow amidst the darkness. The light it emits is very subdued but since there are many installed around the place, it is still enough for one to recognize the details of the surroundings.

The place looks like a storage of antique collections. It looks like well maintained and there is no hint of mustiness in the air.

There are also many books around.

Yue eyes landed onto some and knew that they were first edition books that are not available in the market. Even the black market would be lacking it.

Whoever is the owner of this place is very impressive. In fact, just the crystals alone probably cause a fortune. It doesn't run on electricity that's why it was not affected by the outage and Yue doubted that batteries were used to keep it running.

She recognized some of the jewelries in the display case and realized that the pieces go back even before the unification of the country.

Yue doesn't think she is in the Royal Depository because it looks more of like a personal collection.

As she go along trying to find an exit, she saw a pendant.

Her heart thumped loudly.

The carvings in it were very familiar to her. It should be hers, how did it end up here?

Suddenly, Yue felt dizzy and blanked out.

Yue woke up finding herself in another room.

She was once again lying in a bed.

Did they caught onto her or did her brother managed to rescue her?

She felt so weak and there's like a heavy hammer pounding in her head. She wanted to get up but found out that she can't even move a muscle.

What's happening?

Yue heard some beeping and was assaulted by the smell of antiseptic.

So she was in the hospital. Does that mean she's now safe?

But where is her brother? And why is her body aching like hell?

She heard some incoming footsteps.

Yue pretended to sleep.

The door was carefully opened

Two people entered.

Yue guessed based on the footfall that one is a woman and the other was a man. They're probably a couple. She can feel the harmony in their movements.

Odd.

"Darling, did you feel like our daughter looks a bit livelier?" the woman talked as she approached the bed.

"Hmm. Now that you mention it, she indeed does" the man wondered and a hint of delight can be seen from his face.

"Is it possible that she would now wake up?" the woman suddenly got excited with the prospect.

"I would love that, but I don't think we should get our hopes up too much" the man was more controlled with his emotions. But whose normal parent, given the same situation, wouldn't hope for the best outcome.

The woman sighed deeply. "I know. But I can't help it. When we first discovered her whereabouts, I was so excited and nervous. I didn't know how I should present myself to her. She probably resent us for leaving her. But who would have thought that she won't even be able to react the moment we see her. How did she end up in such situation? Until now I can feel my heart bleeding"

The woman felt her throat restricted.

Yue was bothered by what she's hearing.

The woman was supposed to be Dianna and the man was no doubt her husband Vance Lancer.

Yue will never mistake the voice. She never doubted her ability.

But why are they saying that she is their daughter. The parents of the original owner were long gone, why would the Lancers claim her?

"The doctor said it's already a miracle that she survived the fall. We should be grateful that she's still with us" every time they visit their daughter, Vance would see his wife acts like this. But he can only be patient as he understood where she is coming from.

"My pitiful daughter. She shouldn't be lying here. She belongs out there, on the stage. I've seen her personally back then. I should've realized it was her, our missing baby" Dianna sobbed slightly.

Yue was shaken.

They were not talking about "Yue". They are pertaining to her, Moon.

Does that mean she's alive? She's back in her real body?

And she's actually a Lancer.

If that's true, then that could explain the previous actions of Ashaina. That would also explain why she felt close to Diana and the Old Master.

In her previous life, she was always thinking of finding her parents.

She wanted to know if she still had the space to get into their lives or if she needed to move on with just herself.

But now that she knew the truth, now that they were besides her, Yue can't feel any amount of happiness.

Instead, she was filled with dread for Yyan.

The accumulated loneliness she had and longing for familial love was already compensated by him and more.

She doubted her parents can ever replace the affection Yyan had given her even if she only knew him for a few years.

Yyan would be devastated once he found her dead.

It was impossible for "Yue" to come back and regain her body. Unlike her, Yue knew that "Yue's" soul already dissipated from this world. It means that no matter what happened, she wouldn't revive.

Yue was exhausted from the information she has learned and from worrying about Yyan.

Beep…beep…beep…beepbeepbeepbeepbeep….

"What's happening? Call the doctor quickly!" Diana was shocked by the alarm of the machine. She just thought her daughter was getting better only to encounter this incident.

Vance hurriedly pushed the button to call the doctor. But it was as if it was not enough, he went out of the room to drag the doctor in.

Yue vaguely opened her eyes and saw the frantic look on Diana's face.

She tried to reach out her hand to comfort the woman but her strength didn't allow her to do so.

Don't know if its mother's instinct but Diana returned her attention to Yue and saw her half awake.

"My baby can you hear me? Mother is here now to take care of you. Come back to us please" Yue saw Diana took her hand and held it dearly.

Yue wanted to crack a smile, but everything faded once again from her sight.

Yue was back in the cold and dark room of antique collections.

She was still holding the pendant.

Yue stared at it for a long time.

Could the pendant be the reason why her spirit transferred into another body?

But, is everything that she witnessed just now true or was she just disillusioned?

There are hundreds of questions swimming in Yue's mind but she knew she needed to escape from this place first before she can truly find her answers.
