"Sister!" a very familiar voice called Yue's attention before she can give her name.

When she looked back, she was stunned to see the Yue Crest's face.

She got the exact same body and even the weak constitution except that she was livelier.

Alita looked like a fragile flower, delicate and willow.

She was supported by two maids like she would faint anytime they let go of her.

Yue was incredulous, could there really be such coincidence?

And if they happen to be twins in this timeline.

Could it be that they're twins as well in the present life?

Yue felt conflicted.

These things are easy to confirm once she got back.

Alita grabbed her hand carefully once she was in front of her.

She seemed to be trying to look intimate but there's some alienation that Yue can detect from her gaze and movements.

The reason?

Yue can't help but glance at Yi Yan.

"Sister" Yue returned politely. As far as Anita is concerned, it has been way too long since they last acted as sisters, so being awkward is not out of place.

Besides, Yue can feel the animosity of the maids that follow Alita.

"I didn't expect to see you here. I miss you" Alita was screaming sweet with her words.

"Well-" Yue didn't know what to make if it, but Alita was impatient and immediately switched her attention.

"Ahh, I didn't see you, apologies for the late greetings General Yan" Alita smiled shyly at the man.

"Hmm" General Yan was cold. Despite knowing that the person who came is the sister of the maiden, he didn't like her one bit.

Alita was disappointed by such reaction but didn't show it in her face.

"I am here to invite my sister for a tea, if the general won't mind, you may also join us" Alita said she was here to invite her but her starry eyes didn't leave the general's face even for a moment.

Sure enough, Alita admired the general. However, according to Anita's memory, a High Priestess would have to remain pure all the days of her life, thus, this sister is bound in unrequited love.

However, Alita is really selfish. Yue can see it, she is the type of person wherein if she can't get it, nobody else can.

So, where is the sweet sister in Anita's memory?

Her perspective on her sister is thickly filtered.

In those times that Anita protected her sister, Alita was thinking that she was being shown of the things she couldn't do.

"This General had some things to do, then, I'll see you later" General Yan didn't even look at Alita as he said his goodbye.

"Goodbye General, have a nice day" Yue said perfunctorily.

"Farewell for now maiden" Yi Yan immediately left without giving Alita a chance to say her goodbye.

Yue offered a little bow and walked away regardless of whether Alita would follow.

"Sister, wait for me. Are you angry that I cut your conversation with the General. I apologize, I just wanted to discuss a few things regarding the ceremony since it's just a few days away" Yue didn't know to whom Alita is posing but she still kept that hypocritical face even after the general left.

"There's no need to apologize. The general and I just bumped to each other accidentally" Yue was indifferent.

"Well, I just have to advise sister that we're not supposed to have excessive contacts with outsiders. I don't want others to misunderstood your situation" what Alita said was just in contrast of her invitation to the general just a while ago.

"Of course, thank you sister" Yue didn't intend to keep the conversation longer since she knew that Alita is not really concerned with her. Then sure enough, one of the maid acted.

"Miss, this maiden would like to remind that the High Priest made asked for your presence and should immediately go as soon as you are available" one of the maids suddenly spoke. If it's not within the interest of her master then she had spoken too timely.

"Oh no, how could I forget about this matter. Sister, it seems that we can't drink tea and have some little chat together. I will invite you next time alright" Alita said such regretful words but her tone says so otherwise.

"It's alright, sister should be busy. Please go ahead" Yue was able to determine that wanting to chat with her is just Anita's way of dragging her away from the general.

Yue prefer to also stay away from Alita.

She was entirely different from the sister that Anita had in her memories.

In Anita's memory, her sister had always been dependent of her. They always care a lot for each other.

But maybe, it was just Anita who cares excessively that she had been blinded by her sister's shortcomings.

The girl in front of her didn't show even an ounce of goodness for Anita despite her smiles.

After that encounter, Yue lost interest in roaming around and went back to her room.

Anita, Alita, and General Yi.

They are most likely blood related to her and Yyan.

The people living in Salhura at present times are not its original settlers. According to history, long before the empire was united, this place was wiped out. No one knew why everyone disappeared. But maybe, there are people who still managed to escape such as her ancestors.

In five days, the ceremony will commence. In five days, Yue was quite sure that she would be able to get out of this situation.

But she still wondered why she have to take over Anita's body. It was not as if she's going to change anything since this is already history. Even if her existence is a variable in this timeline, her going back in the past is more like an illusion rather than transmigration.
