Weak breaths were heard inside the room, as Jun's chest rose up and down, he still felt the pain but was slowly feeling his strength come back quickly, partly because of the golden aura surrounding him. He sat up in a cross-legged position as his eyes peered over the skeleton.
"Yo..." He waved at it with a confused face, he thought he would hear more than just a sentence in his head but nothing except the occasional wind coming through the holes could be heard, he looked around and saw the drawings on the wall, he stood up as he shook the dust off of him.
He strutted towards them with curiosity, he thought that maybe they had meanings since the whole room was covered in them, a man was moving in strange positions on the wall, it looked like he was dancing but at the same time fighting but there was no enemy in front or behind him.
Jun looked around and saw that the paintings started right beside the gate he entered, it had the same man doing a bowing position, then the next drawing the man had thrown a punch, he walked close to them as the movements got more and more spectacular.
He reached the other end as his eyes glared towards the last painting; the man was standing in front of the skeleton, with one of his hands behind his back, while the other extended towards the boney figure on the throne.
"What do these drawings mean?" He said with a sigh leaving his mouth, he returned to the skeleton, sitting in front of it cross-legged as he stared at the iron-sword.
After a while he got tired and laid down when suddenly he heard a faint click, he quickly rose as his eyes went behind him, there was an iron plate on the ground, a smile spread over Jun's face as he looked at it, he had finally got a clue.
He looked towards the ground and saw plates on different parts of the ground; he strutted at them and saw symbols of fists and feet on different parts of it.
"Yes!" Jun had finally figured it out, the pressure plates and the drawings were what he needed to imitate, the plates telling him where to be and the drawings telling him the positions.
He went towards the first painting, and saw that there was only a single fist inscribed on it; he smirked as he bowed towards the air before stomping on the plate as he threw a punch, dust rolling out below his feet.
"Must have been a long time since somebody stepped on these..."
He stomped on the next plate as he raised his kicked towards the sky, jumping to the next as his punched in front and then kicking, dust flying in the air as it stuck to his white robe.
His body followed the images on the walls as sweat started falling down his face, his back already drenched. He didn't expect the moves to take such a huge toll on his body.
He kept throwing punches and kicks, sometimes jumping in the air or ducking down to the ground.
Finally, he reached in front of the skeleton as his hand extended in front of him, his loud breaths travelling around the room; he looked towards the skeleton with anticipation in his eyes.
The iron-sword started shining as the orange aura started travelling out of the sword into the skeleton's arms making them shine, like two snakes it started moving from its arms towards its shoulders and then its chest to finally its forehead.
It started swirling around in the middle of its forehead as it became a brighter and brighter, Jun stood firm and got tense in case anything unexpected happened.
A bright light enveloped the room as Jun squinted, a light quickly shot out of the skeleton towards Jun, he saw it at last second before it hit his forehead, going inside it as Jun felt pain again.
The image of huge mountains flashed before his eyes immediately replaced with the vast ocean, strange images kept popping up in front of his eyes, until at the end a great city with a palace in the middle appeared, people were conversing while kids played with wooden swords, some were building ships while others were drawing strange wings, Jun felt strange happiness as he saw them but was soon transported towards the gate of the palace.
He opened it pushing it with all of his strength, a long aisle appeared in front of his eyes at the end an empty throne, he slowly walked towards it while looking around, his eyes gazing towards the throne.
As he reached it he extended his fingers towards the armrest, as soon as he touched it a strange image of a middle-aged man appeared on his mind, a kind and peaceful smile on his face.
"I am the Conqueror...the King of Kings...the Emperor of Emperors..."
A voice spoke in his mind before quickly going away, along with the images. Jun's eyes immediately went towards the skeleton.
"So you were him..."
The orange aura on the iron sword had disappeared as had the markings, it looked like a normal sword now, nothing special.

"Nice, I finally have a cultivation technique."
Jun looked around to see if he had missed anything and realized that there was a pouch near the skeleton, he grabbed it and saw that there was gold in it, 30 pieces at least and 90 at most, it was hard to tell but good. Gold was always good.
He got out of the room as he looked behind him for one last time before going out the cave, he covered the entrance with bushes and whatever he could he find with a big smile on his face.
Icarus looked at Jun and sensed something different about him but not much of a difference, Jun smiled at it and mounted the black-furred horse.
"Come on Icarus...we have a world to conquer."
Icarus neighed as he galloped towards the village with speed; A fire had unknowingly been lit inside both of their hearts, after a while they arrived at the village; he immediately got into his wooden manor, and sat down crossing his legs.
He concentrated inside himself and saw small golden-orange-ish energy in his lower dantian, he started moving it around inside him, after a while he got drenched in sweat and stopped.
"...what type of over-powered technique is this?!"
He could immediately feel a new-found strength in his body, he punched out as the air scattered.
"Wow..."
Amazement appeared on his face as he looked at his fists, he thought it would take a little more practice for his strength to rise, but it seems like that was not the case.
He rested a little bit before starting to cultivate again, waiting for the sun to rise, the anticipation of battle slowly rising in his heart, it was probably the same for the soldiers since this would be the first battle they had ever fought in.
