The Almighty Voice

quidJun started heading to Kudret after mounting Icarus, he found Kudret doing drills with the men and telling them where they could improve, Jun galloped with Icarus towards Kudret with its hair moving like silk.

Kudret heard galloping and stopped his movement and turned his head towards Jun where he saw Jun and a black horse with fur as a dark as midnight, Jun tapped the horse with his foot lightly as it went fast.

It stopped in front of Kudret and raised its front legs in the air while neighing loudly.

"It seems you have acquired your horse, sir. And it looks like it is from the best of the best."

A smile appeared on Jun's face, with a prideful expression his face he patted his chest.

"Only natural that I get the best General Kudret, but don't worry we will find one for you as well."

Kudret smiled as he put his fingers on his mouth and whistled as full blast, after a while they heard galloping as a black-furred horse appeared running towards them, it arrived and stopped beside Kudret.

"This boy is the only horse I need in my life, sire." General Kudret said while rubbing its silky black hair, with pride shown on his face.

Jun looked at the majestic black horse that had galloped over, it looked almost the same as Icarus but had a different air releasing from it, it had eyes as sharp as a thousand swords and a bloody aura surrounding it, way different from the freedom atmosphere Icarus brought. It seemed like it had been through countless battles.

"He looks beautiful, what is his name?"

A big smile filled with pride spread on Kudret's face.

"I named him Wonder, for it has a special meaning...the meaning behind it is that I and Wonder want to go to a place called Wonderland."

"A simple name with meaning, that is good."

Jun said as he patted Icarus while glancing at Kudret, waiting for the question he anticipated. Kudret saw Jun glancing at him and smiled at his lord's shameless antics.

"May I know what is the name of your horse sir, surely it must have a beautiful and strong name?"

Jun smiled as the question he wanted was finally came out of Kudret's mouth.

"I'm glad you asked Kudret, his name is Icarus...it's the name of the man who flew too close to the sun."

Kudret raised his eyebrows at Jun as he glanced at Icarus from time to time, he was surprised at Jun with how beautiful the name was.

"Nice name."

Jun's prideful face shattered as he was expecting more compliments but only got 2 words, but he quickly regained his composure as he had come to Kudret for a reason.

"Anyway, how many horses we got, and how many of the soldiers can ride a horse?"

The serious face returned as Kudret started telling Jun all the details, in total, they had about 30 horses at the moment and only 10 soldiers could ride.

"Are you sure it is a lord we are attacking?" Jun asked Kudret as he gazed at the soldiers with sharp and bright eyes.

"There is a chance, they might be bandits who just conquered the place, but then that would make it better since we are saving the people from bandits."

Excitement appeared in Jun's eyes.

"When can we head out?"

Jun's voice cracked from his excitement, for an unknown reason after Jun had seen that dream with the fire wolf he had discovered he had a passion for fighting and anything that was related to fighting excited him.

"Hopefully, tomorrow sire."

"Great! Tomorrow, get the soldiers to gather at the gate."

"Yes, of course!"

Kudret nodded and went back to practising and drilling the men for the upcoming fight they were going to have tomorrow, Jun went to Ali and found out that the fisherman had gathered a lot of fish and if they were sold, it would amount to 50 gold.

Jun went to the market and traded them for gold and resources and then got back to his village and gave them to Ali to distribute them to the villages.

When it became dark as the moon was lighting up the village, he mounted Icarus and rode towards where the wind blew, he had no direction.

The road's sides were filled with trees and bushes, Jun looked around and admired it, it was beautiful as the moon shone on it, Jun gazed up at the countless stars with all types of shapes while riding Icarus.

The silence was pleasing as Jun listened to nature, this was what the game could give to you that in real life you could hardly find since the world was filled with building and factories.

He stopped and looked back while drinking water and saw that he couldn't see the village, he decided that after drinking water the will head back.

He mounted Icarus and as soon as he was about to start, his body stopped as he felt pressure on his shoulders, it felt like a hundred bulls were above him trying to make him liquid, he couldn't move at all. He stayed there for a while with a disfigured face from the pressure until suddenly it started to become easier to move.

He quickly looked around to see if there was a monster but all he saw was the green and beautiful forest, he checked on Icarus but all he saw was calm like it didn't affect him, like the pressure was only on him.

He peered at the forest with caution, the huge pressure he felt before was slowly becoming weaker and weaker, and he quickly got close to Icarus to mount him when suddenly...

"Come..." He heard an ancient and mighty voice calling for him, the voice had this aura that drew people towards it but at the same time, it sounded like it had authority over the world.

Jun looked at Icarus and then at the forest and picked up a pebble and inscribed a line on one side with his knife.

"If it lands on the side with the line we go back to the village, if it lands on the side that has no line...we go in the forest." He told Icarus.

He flipped it in the air and concentrated on it, slowly it turned on one side then the other and vice-versa until finally, it landed on the ground on the side with no line.

"Yes!" Jun pumped his fist up in the air in accomplishment, Icarus snorted like it didn't want to go but the intent in its eyes were clearly showing that he wanted to go.

Jun mounted Icarus and started galloping inside the forest, following the voice in his head, he had no idea where he was going he just followed where the pressure was the weakest.

After a while in the dark forest, he saw a cave with old statues beside it, guarding it with swords in their hands, they looked mighty and powerful but still just statues. He left Icarus outside and entered the cave with nothing in hand.

He saw all types of inscribing on the walls of the cave, with words and drawings he couldn't understand, as he walked closer inside the cave the pressure was almost non-existent if you didn't pay attention to it.

As he walked deeper in the cave he felt the same ancient pressure but this time instead of hurting him, it surrounded him and travelled around his body like it was a formless dragon, he reached a big rocky gate but it didn't have a handle on it, so it couldn't be opened.

Jun's face immediately turned sour and started trying everything he knew that he had seen from movies when he was a kid, he punched it with everything he has got but it didn't budge at all, he looked around to see if there was something that could open it but he found none, eventually, he concluded that it could only be opened by voice.

"Open Sesame!...Abrakadabra!...Open!...Damn It!"

Nothing seemed to work, he fell down on the ground looking at it with his eyes wide-open, analyzing it until he heard the same ancient voice in his head, he heard 2 sentences and immediately got up and shouted them at the door.

"All the stars and galaxies...address me as your majesty!"

The cave started rumbling as the dust started coming out of the edges of the gate until a hole big enough for Jun's body was created on the gate.

"Wow!" Jun exclaimed in awe, he had heard of secret passages before in his last life, but he had never heard of holes suddenly being created, he started walking inside and saw a skeleton with a golden crown on its head, it was holding an iron sword with faint orange lines inscribed on it.

He walked closely when a sharp pain spread over all over his head, he kneeled while holding his head with both hands. It felt like it was going to explode as veins started throbbing on his neck, his face became red from the pain.

"AGHHHHH!!!"

A deafening roar came out of Jun's mouth as he twitched in pain on the ground, he opened his eyes with difficulty and looked around, he saw all types of drawings until suddenly he saw a man standing up in front of a skeleton, the skeleton looked similar to the one that was sitting in front of him.

He immediately put strength in his legs as he tried to get up while trying to ignore the pain, but the more he tried to get up the bigger the pain and pressure became. He gritted his teeth and held on until he was finally back on his knees, at this point his whole body was in agonizing pain, he roared with pain as he slowly started standing straight until finally, he stood up with sweat all over his body.

Slowly the pain went away as the pressure weakened, he fell on the ground in the blink of an eye, the almighty aura came back and surrounded him like fog, and his pain started going away quickly as he heard the mighty voice from earlier.

"Congratulations, child..."
