The Golden Lion

Jun mounted Icarus before walking towards the camp with his troops, their swords covered with blood as their steps made prints on the ground.

After they reached a certain distance, Jun prepared to launch an attack again to get inside the city when suddenly the gates opened as villagers came out running towards them, but less than expected.

The troops were about to form a line and start slaughtering them when Jun raised his hand telling them to back off, his eyes never leaving the villagers.

The villagers stopped when they saw the cold-looking swords, maintaining a safe distance. A man in ragged clothes walked in front of the group, his eyes trembling but his posture still firm as a spear, his eyes were sharp like they could cut anything in the world

"My lord, I Aslan, as the messenger of these the people behind me surrender, please accept us into your fief!" His body suddenly fell as he kneeled, only one of his knees touching the floor, clearly showing his pride, while the others kneeled fully, both of their knees hitting the ground, some even kowtowing.

"Please accept us!"

"Please accept us, my lord!"

The soldiers got confused by the sudden change in the atmosphere, one minute they were killing, the other people were kneeling.

Jun rode towards them slowly, a smile creeping upon his lips as it reached his eyes.

"Arise, I accept you." He said as he looked at them with a smile, specifically the one with the ragged clothes, he felt there was something special about this man as he inspected him.

[Keilo's Evaluation: Bruh]

Jun's eyes widened.

{Holy Shit! Holy shit! Holy shit! It's the Golden Lion!!}

While Jun didn't remember much about what happened in Europe in his old life since he was mostly in China, he definitely remembered the general who won every battle and took 8 capitals in 3 months, it was 2nd in the "10 of the most legendary things accomplished in Blood and Swords" list, and that general was kneeling in front of him!

Jun immediately got off from his mount, pulling Aslan up with his arms, his eyes filled with respect and admiration, he wasn't about to let the man he respected greatly apart, up there with "The Uncrowned King" just kneel to him.

"Arise! General arise, for I haven't done anything worthy of your kneeling!"

[System Notification: Aslan Evrenol's loyalty has risen by 5, reaching 70.]

Aslan looked at Jun with confusion, he thought this new lord of his was weird, normally kings and emperors would keep him kneeling just stroke their ego, but this one was different.

"I hope you can help me in this road of hardship that I walk on...for my legs won't hold on forever..."

Jun said as a smile blossomed on his lips as he said that, not noticing Aslan's pupils dilate as he heard the same words he had heard from the man he regarded as his only ruler.

Jun turned towards the others, telling them to show him the way to the lord's manor after he got in the gates he saw multiple people there, men holding swords and knives they had gotten out of the storage room of the bandits, women behind them holding their babies, terrified as they saw him come with his soldiers, but after seeing their friends that went out come back, they got relaxed and made way for him to reach the manor.

He reached the lord's manor, he tried opening the door but found out that it was locked, he smiled as he backed off a bit before ramming his shoulder into the door, immediately breaking it open.

A man with a short-sword was hiding there, his legs barely holding on, fear was in his eyes as the hand that was holding the sword was trembling; it was the lord's manor.

A cold smile appeared on Jun as he grabbed his spear, walking towards him grazing the floor from time to time.

"Don't come closer!" the terrified man started backing away fast, almost running as the sound of the spear grazing the ground felt like death calling from him.

Jun stopped in his place as he held the spear above his head, putting the small amount of energy he had cultivated in the spear it's body started glowing red as he was aiming at him with one eye closed.

"Humph." Jun took one step forward as he extended his arm, his whole body rotating with the motion as the spear left his hand.

"No!" The sword fell from the man's hand as he quickly put his hands in front of him in an X shape, the spear flew quickly as it impaled his arms, easily going through them as it went into his skull, connecting his body with the wall.

Jun sighed as he walked over to the corpse, pulling the spear out of his skull. With a smile as he looked at his spear.

{It seems my efforts have paid off..}

Suddenly a white pillar rose from the ground in the middle of the manor, Jun went over it his hand hovering over it.

"Do you wish to destroy this village, occupy it, or give it to another player?"

"Occupy!"

He went out, people looking at his bloody spear as a smile appeared on everyone's face, they had finally got their revenge and felt like Jun was their saviour sent from God.

"Alright, you are officially under my protection, and I shall protect you until my death, that is my promise..." Jun said with a smile on his face.

The people knelt.

"Thank you, my Lord!"

Jun smiled as the soldiers prepared to turn back, Jun looked around looking for a certain man, immediately walking towards him as he put his hands on Aslan's soldiers.

"Come on!"

Aslan smiled as he bid farewell to the people he had stayed with before walking with the soldiers, Jun didn't mount Icarus this time, he walked with Aslan and Kudret, they conversed a long time before finally reaching the village. Aslan looked around as people greeted Jun with a smile, the soldiers smiling as their lovers and wives came up and kissed them, some were even crying.

Ali came to him with a smile.

"My lord! I knew you would win!"

"Was there any doubt Ali?" Jun raised his eyebrows towards Ali, a dignified expression appearing on his face, Ali shrugged.

"No sir, never."

Ali looked at Aslan with a smile, he felt familiar but he couldn't put his finger on it.

"Ali this is Aslan Evrenol, a new general joining our village."

Ali's jaw dropped as his gazed stood on Aslan, his hand rose as a trembling finger pointed at Aslan.

"T-the-the Great General!"
