Who's this new guy?

After Jun took a shower he immediately got into the game, already knowing what his first course of action would be.

"First Condition: Population must be 300 in numbers. Completed."

"Second Condition: All the required buildings must be built. Completed."

"Third Condition: Lord must be Second Class Baron. Completed."

For a lord to level up in rankings he had to had merit points, merit points could be gained by completing certain things, like building prestigious buildings, or winning huge wars, and being on the winning side of Historical Battles.

Historical Battles are what the name means, a Historical Battle. The lords of a nation in the world will fight in historical battles that have happened, and maybe alter the course of the battle. Since it was still early in the first year of Feindro, the game's calendar, it was still too early for Historical Battles to happen.

"All the requirements have been completed. Would you like to upgrade Kül Village to Third Grade?"

"Yes."

[ World Notification: Congratulations to Player Işık Kuzgunu for being the first lord in Turkey to upgrade to the Third Grade Village! Reward: 700 merit points! ]

"That's it?" Jun was disappointed in the low rewards, he thought he would get something more "special" but it looked like his luck had finally run out...

[ System Notification: Congratulations to Player Işık Kuzgunu for being the first lord in Turkey to upgrade to the Third Grade Village! Reward: 700 merit points, the recipe of "army pills", the blueprint for iron armour. ]

Jun's lips curved up as he pumped his fist on the air.

"I still got it."

As Jun was having his small celebration, the world was dumbfounded by the sudden notification; what surprised them was that he was not of the aristocrats everybody knew, so he must be a commoner like most players, but after the initial surprise everybody just went back to what they were doing, they said it was just luck, and they were partially right.

Well...that was what the common players thought.

Aristocrats were having a slightly different reaction. They were disgusted that someone could be better than them, how could this mere common player, upgrade his village faster than them, it was unacceptable. And so they immediately got to work towards upgrading their buildings. They had pride in them that was for sure.

Jun looked through the rewards he had got and was joyful when he saw one item in particular.

The army pill was a really valuable item when it came to war, it could keep men full for 2 or 3 days without them even eating anything, although this item was really valuable now, it would later become less important as players would get the recipe one by one, right now only some aristocrats had it, that's how important it was.

"Alright then."

Jun talked with Ali and Zeynep about the recipe and manufacturing of the pills, and they said that it could be done but not immediately, but what mattered to Jun was that it could be done, after that he went to the blacksmith shop, where he could hear the constant battering of iron.

He entered with a smile, only to see three people working in there, Onur the original blacksmith, and two other young blacksmiths, they looked like they were in their teens.

Jun stood there as he looked at them, analyzing them as well as thinking of new plans for the village until Onur finally realised that Jun was inside the shop, looking at them with a dazed expression.

He quickly cleaned his hands before approaching Jun with a smile on his face as he put his hand on his chest, right where the heart was, Jun returned the gesture.

Jun had found out that this gesture was a greeting in their culture, and was slowly getting used to it, instead of the usual bow he did on China.

"What brings you here my lord?"

"I have something that could be a benefit for our village, although it seems like you are already working on something else."

"Ah yes, my lord I have been trying to build a set of iron armour, I had seen the condition the soldiers came after the battle happened in Aslanlar Village, so I decided to make something more durable and sturdy, although I have not had any success since I do not have a blueprint, I am sure I will be able to succeed, although if you have an order I'll stop immediately and complete your request."

Jun smiled as he took out the blueprint of the iron armour, opening it in front of Onur, after Onur looked at it for a while he immediately recognized what it was and looked at Jun with astonishment, Jun handed the blueprint to Onur.

"I am sure this will help you, Master Onur."

Onur nodded repeatedly as he analyzed the blueprint, his eyes not leaving it for a second. Seeing the action of Jun he saw that Onur immediately wanted to get back into the forge.

"I will be off then." Onur looked up as Jun put his hand on his chest with a smile; he returned the gesture but before Jun left, he asked if they could find an iron mine somewhere around these parts since they were running somewhat low.

After walking around town for a while, he noticed the poor attire that the civilians had. He went to the market and traded the fish they had acquired along with the food, and bought a blueprint for a tailor shop. He returned to the village, instantly he went where Zeynep was, she was in the tent, writing and making plans which she thought would be useful for the village in the future.

As soon as he entered the tent he was greeted by her fragrant scent, her black pearly eyes immediately disconnecting from the table and landing on to him, no matter how hard he tried, he just could not get used to her beauty. He had seen many females in his past life, none could match the way she could stun Jun, a smile blossomed on his lips as he looked at her.

"So...I want to create a tailor shop in order to make clothes for the villagers, also I want everything we have in this village as of this moment, to also be built in Aslanlar Village, immediately."

Zeynep stood up and walked around the table, closing in on Jun slowly, her soft voice coming out of her mouth.

"Well, I think we can do what you have requested, but for the tailor shop we need a blueprint, and we do not have it." Her movement stopped as she came close to Jun.

Jun smiled as he took out the blueprint, his face leaning in on her as they got even closer.

"I have it, therefore the village has it, which means it will be created."

Zeynep narrowed her eyes as she took the blueprint from his hands, reading it and looking over it before nodding in agreement; she looked up at him with a smile before rolling the blueprint gracefully.

"Well then, I must complete your request, my lord."

Jun grinned as he put his hands behind his back, nodding at her.

She grinned at him as she raised the blueprint in her hands, touching his cheeks with it as she got closer, her breath hitting his lips.

"I can also give you something else...if you so desire."

Jun got surprised by the sudden actions and words, a faint mischievous smile appearing on his lips as he got closer to her, his hand raised as his finger tapped on her forehead.

He chuckled.

"I do not desire anything other than the well-being of the villages and the villagers, although I could be persuaded...but I highly doubt it."

Zeynep rubbed her forehead, her eyebrows raised as a smirk appeared on her face.

"Want to bet?"

"On what?"

"If I make you fall in love with me, I can do everything I want for an entire year." The black-eyed woman got even closer to him, their lips almost touching.

"What's in it for me?"

"If I fail to make you fall in love with me, you can do anything you want with me."

Zeynep was almost sure he would accept since no man could resist her, but what greeted her was Jun shaking his head as a smile stretched on his lips, her eyes widened in surprise at the man in front of her, he really was a different breed.

"No...If I make you fall in love with me, then I can do anything I want to you...Deal?" He smiled as he tilted his head at her.

"Deal." She smiled at him.

He nodded and turned around, only to turn around again to catch the oncoming fist, after he had turned around Zeynep immediately threw a punch towards the back of his head full of killing intent, the thing she hated the most was men playing with her.

Jun turned around facing her with a smile, her eyes filled with death as she stared at him, he was intrigued at how her nature could change so fast, he pulled her close to him as he held on to her hand.

"Me and You...We should spar sometime."

He winked at her before quickly getting out of the tent, not waiting for a reply.

Zeynep held on to her hand as she looked at his figure fading away.

"One of these days...one of these days...ugh." She went out of the tent to go at the builder's workshop; it was a workshop she had built in cases like these where something had to be built. She gave them the tailor shop blueprint and also instructed them to go to Aslanlar Village and build the basic things they had in Kül Village, and then got back to the tent to continue what she was doing before Jun came in.

Jun went to General Kudret ad General Aslan as he saw the troops jogging around the village shirtless. He immediately ordered them to jog back to the military camp, he had some plans for the soldiers.

After everyone was settled in their places Jun stood in front of them with his hands behind his back, his eyes sharp like a spear and as deadly as a snake. His aura demanded their attention as they focused on him.

He took a deep breath in as he looked at them one by one.

"Men...I want to be the greatest in the world."

The soldiers got confused by the sudden declaration of their lord.

"I want to be the best in everything, and want my people to be the best in what they are skilled in, now what does his have to do with you, I shall tell you now."

The soldiers' ears pricked up.

"You as of this moment aren't the best, you are nowhere near perfect, you are garbage."

The soldiers faces instantly went to resentment as they looked at him, no man could bear someone telling them they were garbage, not even if it was their lord. General Kudret and general Aslan were surprised by the sudden hateful words and wondered what in the hell was Jun doing, but all Jun did was smile at the men mockingly.

"You are worse than garbage, you couldn't even kill one man without vomiting right after and you expect to be better in war, where soldiers thousands of soldiers die every day. I have seen women stronger than you, so do not think you are strong just because of one battle."

At this point the men's resentment was slowly turning into hate; Jun's smile quickly went away.

"But..."

The soldiers narrowed their eyes at him if he said one more hateful word they would riot, some had already gone red.

"...if it had been for you, I would be just low peasant."

The soldiers got hit by a bucket of cold water as they looked at Jun, they were confused, one moment he was belittling them, now he's saying good things about them.

"You see, without you I would be nothing, but as I said, I want to be the greatest, and if you are not the greatest then I am definitely not the greatest."

The soldiers nodded in agreement, finally slowly understanding what their lord was trying to say.

"So...if we want to be the greatest, we will have to be faster than lightning, stronger than steel, harder than rock, mightier than mountains, lighter than a feather."

Jun smiled as he walked back and forth.

"Now you may be asking how do we do that? Well...we will have to go through hell."

The soldiers' brows narrowed as they did not understand what their lord meant.

"Tomorrow morning at the first crack of dawn, I want everyone to be here, standing...That is all for today." Jun smiled as he walked away, the two generals following him, leaving the soldiers alone to contemplate what their lord meant.

"My lord, what do you mean to go through hell?" General Aslan asked him with curiosity.

"Aslan, tomorrow I want ropes to be in the military camp, also bring blocks made out of stone. Kudret, I want you to go find an iron mine somewhere close to the village since we are running low on it, you both are dismissed."

Jun went towards his lord manor, he walked with his head hung down, it seemed like he was thinking about something, although nobody could see the evil smile on his face.
