Chapter Forty Seven - Exchanging Fists (Part 2)

Just as Noah was away to grab the sword on his back with his spare hand he felt a cold metal blade pierce his chest and into his heart. Blood running down his chest and through his tunics. He took a few steps back before falling to his knees, everything was in slow motion...

Fiona watched the door slowly opens and a hand holding it as it opened wider and wider, revealing Noah behind it. She wasn't able to say anything but she did try looking at one of the healers and then towards the door so they could at least warn him or wave him back so he didn't come in.

She watching with her eyes letting out tears at the first punch from the Commander an ache on her stomach where she had suffered through the same punches and knew that they were strong enough to break a bone clean if it hit it.

The fight in front of her passed so quickly she could barely keep her eyes on both the fighters, her eyes opening wide in horror and a muffled screaming coming out her mouth as she watched the knife plunge into his chest. Watching Noah cough blood from his mouth.

Joseph had been laying on a bed watching Noah enter, he tried to make a noise to warn him to leave but whenever he moved his mouth a shooting pain was sent down the side of his neck and restraining him from even making a gargle.

He couldn't use any magic at all, Commander Fraser had made sure that he had suffered enough injuries that he was barely able to wiggle his fingers as well as changing him in cuffs that restrained someone's ability to control magic. He could only watch in horror knowing that Noah was going to suffer a horrible fate.

Nereem let out a wild scream, her eyes losing focus at what was happening in front of her. The only thought through her head was worrying if Noah was going to survive. She watching with her face turning just as white as Noah's as he slowly fell on to his back and collapsed onto the floor.

Blood pouring out his wound as the Commander yanked out the knife keeping it from stopping the blood from bursting out the wound as well as him coughing it up. Tears running down her face as she screamed so much she fell into pitch-black darkness. Losing all conscious from seeing what had just happened in front of them.

The healers watching in shock as the man in front of them brutally killed a boy that had barely passed into adulthood. Just a sinister smile on his face with the blood covering his uniform. Silence fell over the room, not a single sound was made.

The blonde commander turned to the healers barking, "What do you all think you are doing? Watching a God damn play?! Get back to work before I kill you next." He completely turned away from Noah unfazed at his eyes slowly turning black as he didn't notice.

Healers quickly got back to work, giving a quick prayer to the boy in their head as they didn't want to get massacred either. They had already witnessed most of their colleagues be butchered as well and most were shaking and just trying to get through it.

As they started getting back to work there was a loud roar that came from the dying Noah. A black and white aura flushed over his body pulsing a bright and dark light over him and healing his wounds instantly, his colour turned to a fresher pink tone while the wound on his chest closed itself as if nothing had happened.

Those that could use magic started shivering and naturally moving away from the boy and as far away as possible. They could feel the magic in the air turning unnatural and the amount of healing that the boy had done without even casting a spell was impossible. Even for the Keeps best healer Mistress Renn.

The Commander stared in awe at Noah, unsure what was going on but preparing himself for another scuffle again. Noah raised by himself his eyes darker than the night's sky, every few seconds flashing white just like his aura was doing.

"Well, boy. That was unexpected. What are you doing?"

Noah didn't answer he wasn't even looking at the Commander just his mother laying on the floor white as a ghost laying unconscious. His mouth opened and he stared at the commander, he started saying things out loud that no one understood but all of a sudden a black and grey light had formed into a long spear behind Noah in the air aimed right at the commander.

The Commander took a few steps back, raising his knife in hand and standing defensively while taking steps back. He had never seen such a use of magic before. Just as he was away to start attack Noah said one word that couldn't be heard by anyone except the blonde Commander.

The mana spear shot into his gust. Dissolving his stomach into a mist and disappearing along with it. The healers who could still stand stood with their mouths wide open; both Fiona and Commander Joseph was shocked at what happened.

The aura infused Noah walked over to the fallen commander and held his hand over the body, a black and grey aura spread over it before the body slowly disappeared into a cloud of fine dust, erasing what was left of him completely.

After lowering his hand Noah looked around the room slowly at each healer. Whenever his eyes viewed them they would collapse into a deep sleep, some snoring and some silent enough to think that they had passed.

Noah walked over his unconscious mother and held her in his arms, his aura spreading through the whole room basking it in a black and grey aura. The skin on Nereem slowly regained more colour and her breathing eased out.

It wasn't just her, everyone in the room basked in the light and felt all their injuries heal. Both Fiona and Joseph felt nothing from the serious injuries that they had endured while the healers forgot about the events that had happened, the black and grey light completely removing the memory of the events from them.

Complete silence fell on the room...
