Noah fell backwards, his mother landing against on his thighs and sleeping peacefully through it. His magic aura didn't just remove the memories of the day from everyone except Sir Joseph and Fiona but flowed over the corpses of the murdered healers. They slowly glowed a bright white light and turned to dust leaving only blood behind taking the aura with it.
The first one to say anything was Commander Joseph telling the small team of leaders to get him on to a bed straight away. Groggily standing up before shaking his legs and getting some blood flowing through them.
Every healer in the room had a blank expression, it was the Commanders shout of an order that seemed to wake them up and bring them back to their senses. Some screamed at all the blood while others looked in shock, Joseph had to shout at them to get them back completely.
Being trained professionals they were able to quickly and gently list Nereem onto a bed before helping Npah on to the bed right next to her. They both were resting peacefully with not a blemish on their skins.
The Commander slowly walked over to beside both their beds and looked at Noah, his expression making it hard to figure out what he was thinking. His eyes looking closely at where Fraser had stabbed into Noah's chest; he wasn't a genius but he was sure that it should have directly pierced his heart.
He touched the wound with his finger to feel for blood or any damage of any sorts but it was only smooth skin not showing any shading from growing over new skin it was like it had never happened in the first place.
'Amazing. No one has ever done that in the history of magic that I know of. Noah could be an asset to General Sil once he grows up and even if he can learn one-tenth of that power he could devastate a whole battlefield.'
As Commander Joseph stood over Noah with a straight face, Fiona was trembling as her mind flashed back to all the torture she had been put through trying to find out how to get the hidden message from the letter that she had escorted back to the Keep.
Sweat soaked her back and her trembling became harder, a soft hand reached out and clasped hers squeezing it. "Ma'am, are you okay? Did something happen to you?" A woman with a kind face asked nicely helping ease Fiona back to the present where she just lay there turning and staring at Noah in his bed.
Flashes of Noah using pure magic to make a spear and kill the man who had tortured her for hours on end, she couldn't but help feel thankful for him managing to completely stop her from suffering through that pain again and just wanted to be able to repay him in some way.
Noah let out a groan, he was in complete darkness and could only see flashes of grey light every now and then but he did see the outline of something he just couldn't make out what. He heard a roar and looked into the flashing grey light.
It took several minutes of staring into the flashes and straining his eyes but he could finally make out a 15-metre tall dragon being flashed in front of him, it was facing the sky with its mouth opening and closing trying to let out a roar.
He stared at it in awe and amazement the closest dragon to being even close to that tall had been the dragon that laid Aulerius before passing, Alaric's bond. After a few moments of staring it turned down and faced him, opening its mouth and attempting to roar again but at Noah this time instead of the sky.
He couldn't see its scales or eyes or even feel its breath against his skin, the only thing he could see was the outline of its three-metre head and two curved horns. Slowly he reached out his hand and suddenly noticed the closer it got the closer his symbol glowed, it barely had any light coming from it at his side but as soon as he raised it, it started to glow white and flash black.
The dragon stopped trying to roar at him and instead closed its massive jaws, moving its head closer to Noah's palm. As soon as the two connected a dazzling bright white light flashed from their hand and nostrils touching.
He could see that dragon's scales nearly as white as the light but along its sides and underbelly were multiple cuts deep enough to see bone. It still stood strong, letting out close to a purr from Noah's touch.
Small purple particles started to glow around them being sucked into Noah's chest like it was magic particles and flowing through his body into where their skin touch, with each particle that travelled through him the light would flash and Noah would experience a dream.
His eyes rolled back into his head and he suddenly felt a metre smaller [3 ft] his hair hand also changed so it was below his chest and a light brown, his hands were the same as a child's and in front of him was a small white dragon.
They were playing happily in a field full of flowers, in the far horizon a mountain that reached the top of the skies and was covered in snow from two-thirds of the way up. It was just the two of them in the field and both suns were setting.
Small fireflies had started flying around them as they ran and jumped across a small stream that went through the field, the grass was tall enough to hide the baby dragon in as they both played hide and seek.
Noah couldn't control himself as he giggled whenever he was caught or whenever his new high pitch voice counted to twenty and said, "I'm coming for you!" Searching the field for the little dragon which would let out little roars to give him hints at which boulder he was hiding behind.
Losing himself and how long he had been in the dream. The baby dragon was sitting in his arms as he walked back to his house along the plains, letting out little purrs. Just as they were getting closer to the house they heard a sudden - BOOM!
Pieces of wood and the house scattered everywhere hitting and knocking out Noah as he let out a scream. With the darkness a voice whispered, "To learn it all, you must grow..." he only barely managed to pick up on it before falling into a deeper slumber.
Nereem had finally woken up confused, laying on the bed and staring at the ceiling not moving a muscle. She felt like she had forgotten something but couldn't tell what. Her body had never felt as good as it had right then and there. It felt like she was just a teen.
She bounced out of bed standing up and finally noticed where that she was in the hospital ward she had been working in. The other healers had left and there was only a couple of others who were making potions at the desk that was used for potions, she turned to look to see what she was in bed for when she finally noticed her son laying in the bed over from hers.
