Extra 12: I choose you! (11)

"Relax, young Bill, this is something all of us scientists do" - Oak replied with a smile - "Although now I'm curious, why do you want Lusamine's number when you don't want to use their technology?"

"Because I have important information" - answered Bill seriously as he remembered what he had seen - "I just saw Kurama-dono, Lusamine-dono's missing husband near my lighthouse."

"!" - Oak's eyes widened in surprise when he heard this as he began to think at high speed - "Is this true?"

"I saw it take on a rare Dragonite that I've been researching for years" - Bill replied as he explained the situation to Oak.

"Interesting, a Dragonite that experienced gigantism" - Oak muttered as he stroked his chin - "I wish I could observe it so I could investigate the reason for its overgrowth"

"I know, I was thinking the same thing" - replied Bill as he nodded, only to shake his head - "Ok, we're getting off-topic."

"Right, please continue" - Oak replied with slight embarrassment.

"There's not much more to say, he was fighting with that strange Dragonite and after capturing it he flew off in the direction of Saffron city" - replied Bill while frowning.

"That's strange" - Oak said while frowning.

"What's strange, Professor?" - Bill asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"According to the information my cousin Samson gave me, Kurama-dono should have been teleported to another dimension through an [Ultra Wormhole]" - replied Professor Oak as he started to think - "In fact, that's the same opinion I had after going to Alola to investigate this phenomenon, after all, it has a direct relation to a never before recorded Pokémon that we call Nihilego."

"A Pokémon from another dimension?" - Bill asked curiously.

"We call them [Ultra Beast]" - replied Oak as he shook his head - "Again we're getting off-topic. Anyway, what I was trying to say, is that Kurama-dono should be in another dimension after being dragged away by Nihilego."

"Does Nihilego possess any special abilities?" - Bill asked as he tried to analyze the situation a little more.

"According to Lusamine and Wicke, Nihilego possesses the ability to release some strange toxins of varying effects" - replied Oak as he tried to recall the information his cousin had given him - "Lusamine seemed to have experienced some sort of possessive desire for Nihilego during their first encounter"

"Power level?" - Bill asked again.

"We'd say it's on the level of a lesser Legendary" - Oak replied as he frowned - "But this has not been proven"

"I see, then it's not hard to think of the possibility that Kurama-dono managed to escape from Nihilego during the dimensional travel and thanks to the toxins from the [Ultra Beast], he lost his memory" - replied Bill while telling his theory to the Pokémon professor - "What do you think, professor?"

"An interesting theory that would also explain why he hasn't returned to his family" - replied Oak as he started to think - "Although that doesn't explain why we haven't received any news of his appearances."

"Maybe we have, but we've ignored it because we thought he wasn't our subject" - replied Bill as he pointed out an interesting point.

Oak's eyes widened in realization as he remembered a detail he had ignored.

Kurama was not a common name in any of the regions, in fact, it had only started to become popular after the new Gym Leader of Viridian City - "That's right, the leader of Viridian City!"

Oak quickly ran to his second communicator and without a second thought, he called his old friend.

After a few seconds, the call contacted its intended recipient.

"Professor, what's wrong?" - Delia asked in surprise as she received the call from her old friend.

"Delia, I have something important to ask you" - Oak replied with a serious expression.

"I'll answer as best I can, Professor Oak" - nodded Delia as she looked worriedly at Professor Pokémon, after all, she had never seen him so serious before.

"Ok, I want you to give me a description of your current spouse" - said Oak as he looked the woman straight in the eyes - "And please, don't leave any details out."

"My current spouse?" - asked Delia as she frowned - "He is a wonderful, kind, and caring man who puts his family first. His hair is white and his physique is well trained."

"Are his eyes a different color?" - Oak asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"Yes" - nodded Delia as she felt a bad feeling - "How did you know?"

"Ok" - nodded Oak as he sighed regretfully - "Delia, I have something important to tell you about your partner."

"My baby's father" - replied Delia as she frowned.

"Ok, this complicates things a little more" - muttered Oak as he shook his head - "Anyway, I have to be honest with you Delia because you are a friend of many years."

"Get straight to the point, professor" - replied Delia as she looked annoyed at the professor.

"Ok" - nodded Oak as he took a breath - "Delia, your partner is not as simple as you think."

"What do you mean?" - Delia asked as she again frowned.

"His full name is Kurama Uzumaki" - answered Oak as she looked at her friend - "And he's the missing CEO of the [Aether Corporation] of Alola."

"!" - Delia's eyes widened in surprise when she heard this, but to her uneasiness, the news didn't end there.

"He is the husband of Lusamine and Mina Uzumaki, he has 5 children with them, a boy baron and four girls" - Oak replied as he used a nearby screen to show a picture of Kurama next to Lusamine with the others.

". . ." - Delia was silent as she bit her lip. She knew this day would come, but she honestly didn't wish for it to happen.

She was happy with Kurama as her husband, more so with how excited Ash was with his father, but at the same time, she knew she couldn't take her father away from another family.

"I" - Delia muttered before sighing - "I'm going to talk to him, I'm going to tell him about this family."

"I'm sorry, Delia" - Oak replied, though he quickly shook his head - "What am I thinking? Delia, you don't need to worry about anything, remember what I said in the beginning, he has two wives."

"Huh?" - Delia froze for a few seconds before opening her eyes in surprise - "Right, he has two wives!"

"From what I heard about him from my cousin, and you, I'm sure he won't leave you behind, not with everything you've been through together" - Oak replied with a smile as he looked at his friend - "So don't worry."

"Right, he would never do something like that" - Delia said seriously as she prepared to contact Kurama.

"Ok, I'm going to talk to my cousin to tell them that we found Kurama-dono" - Oak answered as he cut the call.

Delia stood in front of the communicator before shaking her head.

"Mommy?" - Daisy asked as she ran to her mother.

"It's nothing little girl, I was just thinking of calling your daddy" - replied Delia with a smile.

"Daddy!" - Daisy exclaimed with a smile as she squealed with excitement, after all, she hadn't seen her father in quite a while.

Delia smiled when she saw this, then dialed her husband's number.

"Delia? Did something happen?" - Kurama asked after answering with his [Xtransceiver], only to smile when he saw his princess next to his wife - "Daisy, my little princess! How have you been?"

"Fine, Daddy, but I miss you!" - Daisy replied as her eyes began to mist over with tears.

"Give me a few days and I can come home" - said Kurama as he looked sadly at his baby - "I promise, and I never break a promise!"

"Ok" - nodded Daisy as she went to her room to play because despite being a 4-year-old, she knew her mother wanted to talk to her father.

"She's a very smart girl" - said Kurama as a huge smile appeared on his face - "Just like her mother"

Delia smiled when she heard this, though her expression quickly changed to a serious one.

"Did something happen?" - Kurama asked with concern.

Delia was silent for a few seconds before letting out a sigh and telling him everything Oak had told her.

Kurama remained static as he listened to everything his wife told him, only to start feeling a sharp headache - "Ugh."

"Kurama!" - Delia exclaimed with concern.

"I'm fine, it's just a headache" - Kurama replied with a slightly forced smile - "I guess my memories want to come back, but something's stopping them."

"Maybe you should let a Gardevoir help you" - replied Delia as a sad smile appeared on her face.

"Please don't make that face, Delia" - Kurama said as he looked at the woman with a loving smile - "Never mind my past, you are part of my present, you, Ash, our daughter"

"I know, I'm just not sure if your wives will accept me" - Delia replied as she sighed regretfully.

"I'm sure they will accept you" - Kurama answered, although inside he had conflicting emotions. Something inside him told him that he wanted to be reunited with that unknown family, but at the same time he was afraid, after all, he had been almost 6 years out of their lives.
