30 minutes later, Kurama was sitting on a rock, lying quietly waiting for his "opponents" to arrive.

The participants were 5 teams, and they were 5 tests, although Makarov had given them the opportunity to make the decision for themselves whether the participants passed or failed.

"I don't know if you're lucky, or just unlucky" - Kurama said aloud as he looked in the direction of the entrance, only to see how Lucy and Kana were watching him as they cursed under their breath.

"Of all people, it had to be Kurama-san" - muttered Kana regretfully as Lucy gave her a worried look.

"Calm down, I don't plan on giving you a test that will eliminate you per se" - Kurama replied as he sat back and looked at the two beautiful girls - "Let's see, what test could I give you?"

"How about we put the test aside, and you chat with us ~?" - Kana asked with a seductive tone.

"Using seduction to try to confuse me, not bad" - nodded Kurama calmly - "But you need more than that to confuse me."

Kana quickly removed the swimsuit covering her breasts and exposed them, only to notice how Kurama was as if it was nothing.

"Really?" - Kurama asked as he raised an eyebrow - "I've seen all kinds of breasts, and I'm not a virgin boy enough to be shocked by seeing your boobs, so I ask you to cover up and let's get started with the test."

Kana clicked her tongue as she felt a huge sense of defeat.

"By the way, you have a nice pair, I give them an 8 out of 10" - Kurama nodded while noticing how the girl blushed - "What? Just because it didn't shock me, doesn't mean I don't know how to appreciate your beauty."

"Let's better leave that for another time, and concentrate on the test" - muttered Lucy with a strange sour feeling inside her.

"Jealous?" - Kana asked as she grabbed the tight jacket covering her friend's breasts, and flipped it open.

Lucy let out a sharp cry of embarrassment as her light blue bra was displayed in all its glory - "Kana-chan!"

"I can't be the only one to give him a little Fanservice" - Kana replied innocently - "Not to mention that this might earn you a few points, come on, I know you like him"

Lucy didn't answer, she just fixed her outfit while her cheeks turned as red as apples.

"Hmm, 10/10" - Kurama nodded as he stroked her chin - "Unlike you, Kana, Lucy showed a more feminine attitude in displaying her embarrassment, that gives her a perfect grade."

"Tch" - Kana clicked her tongue as she folded her arms - "I knew that guys like more the kind of girl who is innocent and easily embarrassed."

"Well, that's more of a personal taste, although I prefer the kind of girl who is nice, proper and affectionate in public, and wild in private" - Kurama answered honestly - "Anyway, it's time to start the test."

"What do we have to do?" - Kana asked with a frown.

"It's simple, you have to get this little sphere I have in my hand" - answered Kurama calmly - "There are 3 ways to get it".

The two girls looked at each other with a serious expression, without saying a word.

"The first one is the simplest one, you just have to steal it from my hands, although that means you have to fight me" - Kurama continued while a small smile appeared on his face - "I don't recommend it though"

"You don't have to say it twice" - muttered Kana as Lucy nodded.

"As I was saying, the second way to get this sphere, is to convince me, and the last way, is to sacrifice Lucy" - replied Kurama with a huge toothy grin.

Lucy was surprised because she could notice something different in the white-haired man, something wild and extremely dangerous.

Kana remained silent while frowning because she felt that there was something strange in all this.

"Finally, you have two chances to face me to steal the sphere from me, and you have 30 minutes to convince me or decide if you want to sacrifice Lucy" - Kurama answered calmly while looking at the dark brown haired girl - "The test has begun".

Kana and Lucy quickly stepped back, so they could decide their next plan of action.

"What do we do?" - Lucy asked with concern - "Do I have to sacrifice myself for you?"

"No, I'm sure that's a trap" - Kana replied with a frown - "Remember, we are [Fairy Tail], we are one big family, and we don't abandon our own, so it's obvious that's a trap option"

"But we can't fight him, we're not strong enough" - muttered Lucy with a frown - "And I don't think we can convince him, in fact, we don't know where to start"

"You're right about that, but we can't give up without trying" - replied Kana firmly - "First let's try to fight him, we have two attempts to succeed, if we fail, then we're left only to try to convince him"

Lucy nodded seriously as the two girls began to think of a plan of action.

Kurama for his part, was smiling in their direction.

"The trap is too obvious, but it's not only that, it's also a test" - Kurama murmured as his smile grew slightly - "One-sided sacrifice, it's the worst betrayal one could suffer, but if the other person sacrifices themselves for you, that means she trusted you and respected you enough to give her life for yours, that shows your character and kindness."

Kurama slowly closed his eyes as he waited for the girls to finish their little meeting.

"Is that all, Natsu?" - Gildarts asked as he watched as Natsu lay on the ground, breathing heavily after receiving a few of his attacks - "I expected something more from the person who wants to outdo me."

"I will never give up!" - Natsu roared as he struggled to his feet - "I will defeat you even if my body can't take it!"

"That's the attitude, now come on, it's still not enough to make me admit defeat" - smiled Gildarts as he narrowed his eyes.

"Here I come!" - Natsu exclaimed, with his body surrounded by flames.

"Fight on, Natsu!" - Happy exclaimed as he gave moral support to his father.

"Onee-chan" - muttered Lissana as she saw how Mirajane was watching her in her [Satan Soul] state.

"Lissana, it's time for you to show your big sister, how much you have matured in all this time" - replied Mirajane seriously as she started to unleash all her magical power - "Oh, but don't get me wrong, this is your test, you have to defeat me, or at least make me acknowledge you"

"Love rival!" - Juvia exclaimed as she ran against Mirajane, who could only see her with sweat running down her cheek, after all, she could feel the growing hostility coming from the blue-haired young woman - "Juvia will defeat all love rivals!"

"Well, at least she's motivated" - Lissana muttered as she ran after her companion.

Mirajane sighed before frowning because such it looked like this battle wouldn't just be about promotion to be an S-rank mage - "Ok, come against me with everything you've got, because I will show no mercy!"

"Hmm, so it's Gray and Loke, it's been a while since I've seen you, by the way" - Erza said while looking at the two people in front of her.

"Great, Erza" - muttered Loke as he looked at Gray with a frown - "This is going to be difficult, and if I'm honest, I'd prefer any of the others because she's hard to deal with."

"I think the same thing" - Gray replied quietly.

"Are you guys telling me I have a bad temper?" - Erza asked with a frown.

"Not in the slightest!" - The men exclaimed as a huge amount of sweat ran down their foreheads.

"That's a pretty obvious lie" - muttered Erza with a frown - "Does everyone think the same thing, and is that why they don't talk to me when I'm in the guild?"

"Oh, I think we're in a different kind of trouble, Gray" - said Loke as his partner nodded.

"Well, I guess we can talk about it while we fight, there are some things I want to know, and I'm going to take advantage of this test to get answers" - Erza replied as her eyes flashed fiercely.

"Is this a bad time to say we're withdrawing from the test?" - Gray asked as Loke was preparing to return to the [Celestial Spirit] world.

"Sorry, withdrawing at this time, is not allowed" - Erza replied with a tender smile.

"If I remember correctly, you are Mirajane-san's younger brother, as for you, you are Levy-chan" - said Lucoa as she opened her eyes and looked carefully at the two participants in front of her.

"This is bad" - muttered Elfman while sweating because he could instinctively feel the dragon's power in front of them - "I think we made it this far, Levy."

"Relax, this is a test, and there has to be a way to get through it" - replied Levy as she tried to encourage her friend - "We can do it."

"You're right" - nodded Elfman as he took a heavy breath - "I have to be a man!"

"You already are, Elfman" - sighed Levy because she still couldn't understand her friend's speech, even when they had known each other for years.
