Extra 15: Dragon & Dragon Maids (40)

The group quickly got off the boat and looked at Makarov, who was explaining the situation.

"I remember my test to be an S-rank mage, it was very different" - said Erza while shaking her head.

"Exactly, although in retrospect, in my time there weren't many S-rank mages" - replied Gildarts.

"Hmm, well, I'm still surprised to be back in this place" - smiled Mirajane as she tilted her head.

"What surprises me, is that he asked us for help" - muttered Kurama as he looked around because he could feel as if someone was watching them.

Erza gave the white haired man a glance, but didn't say anything to try to talk to him because she knew this wasn't the time.

"Hmm, I sense a huge tension in the atmosphere" - Gildarts said as he frowned.

"We can talk about that later, now I'm curious to know the identity of the one who caused you all those injuries" - Kurama mentioned while raising an eyebrow.

He had completely healed Gildarts after seeing his condition upon arriving at the guild.

"Well, it was the black dragon, Acnalogia" - Gildarts replied with a frown - "Honestly, I'm sure he let me live because I amused him for a few minutes with my attempts to hurt him."

"Well, there are some dragons who have a twisted sense of humor" - Lucoa mused as he shrugged, though his expression quickly changed when he felt a glare on his breasts - "Come out of your hiding place!"

"Kya!" - A female voice exclaimed.

"Is something wrong?" - Gildarts asked fearfully because he could feel the change in the sultry blonde woman's attitude.

"We have company" - replied Kurama as they all watched as a cute little girl of about 13-15 years old appeared in front of them. She was wearing a white dress and had long blonde hair, to the point that it reached down to the floor, her eyes were a beautiful emerald green color, and she was trembling for some strange reason.

"Who is the girl?" - Gildarts asked in surprise because he hadn't expected someone to so easily pass over his senses, much less someone who looked to be no more than 15 years old.

"How rude!" - exclaimed the girl with a frown - "I'm much older than I look."

"Yeah, sure, whatever you say, shrimp" - replied Gildarts as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Gunununu" - Mavis began to growl in annoyance, though she quickly regained her composure - "Ok, sorry about that, let's just say I've always been a bit irascible when it comes to my size"

"You're a wandering soul" - Lucoa said with a frown - "Strange, it's like you're on the edge between life and death, but you're neither"

"I have my reasons" - replied Mavis while shaking her head.

"Now that I see you better, you look like the girl who is sealed in that strange rock underneath the guild" - Kurama replied with a frown.

"Underneath the guild?" - Gildarts, Erza and Mirajane exclaimed in surprise because they didn't expect this revelation.

"How did you know about that!" - Mavis exclaimed in terror because she didn't expect someone to discover the secret that she had decided only the guild masters knew about.

"The truth is, it was an accident," Kurama replied as he coughed to shake off the slight discomfort, after all, he didn't want to reveal that he had found out because he destroyed the guild floor while having sex with Tohru.

Mavis frowned as she felt as if she was forgetting something, though she quickly shook her head - "Well, never mind, I just ask that you don't tell anyone about this, after all, it was supposed to be a secret that only the guild master should know."

"Is that stone dangerous?" - Gildarts asked seriously.

"If it falls into the wrong hands, it will be" - replied Mavis with a frown - "Although for our safety, there are very few people who know about [Lumen Histoire]"

"That strange stone, contained an enormous amount of magical power, it could even be considered as enough energy to turn a mortal into a lesser god" - Lucoa said with a frown because she had also detected the secret of [Fairy Tail], although if she was honest, it wasn't as if it was hard to do so, not when that source of unlimited energy, stood out like a swollen thumb.

"I don't understand what you mean by that, but [Lumen Histoire] possesses the ability to generate an unlimited magical source" - Mavis answered seriously, and now that there was no way to reveal the truth, she could only explain the situation in the best possible way, so at least there would be more people willing to protect the secret, not to mention that she was an empath and could sense the sincerity in those present, even from the strange blonde woman.

"Would you stop focusing so much on my breasts?" - Lucoa asked with a frown.

"I'm sorry, it's just that I always wanted to be like you, but in my current state, I can't age, and even if I went back to my body, it would remain the same until I die" - replied Mavis with annoyance - "You don't know how hard it is to live all eternity with such a childish body, more when I have lived for so many decades".

"Oh, sorry, my name is Mavis Vermillion, first guild master of the [Fairy Tail] guild, as well as a close friend of Maki-chan's father" - Mavis replied as she gave a small bow - "It's a pleasure!"

"You're the first guild master?!" - exclaimed those present, except Kurama who was watching the girl carefully, not because she was cute, but because he was puzzled because she was not the person who had been watching them, in fact, he could assure that the source of this gaze, was the same person who had seen them when he had come to this world.

"Is something wrong?" - Mavis asked in surprise as she hovered around Kurama because she still couldn't feel any energy signature in his body.

"There's someone else on this island, right?" - Kurama muttered under his breath.

Mavis' eyes widened in surprise as she looked around in search of Zeref, though she let out a sigh of relief when she saw that he was nowhere to be found.

"From your expression, I can deduce that I am right, and that he is also a potential danger" - Kurama replied as he narrowed his eyes - "Now the question is, are you worried about the safety of the members of [Fairy Tail], or for the safety of that stranger?"

Mavis was silent for a few seconds, not knowing what to say.

She would do anything for the members of [Fairy Tail], but she would be lying if she said she wasn't worried about Zeref's safety, after all, he was the love of her life.

"Okay, that's enough" - Erza said as she walked in front of Kurama and Mavis - "This conversation is getting out of hand, and we have a job to do."

"You're right" - nodded Kurama, to then look at Mavis - "I apologize for my words."

"No, it's good to see that you care about your companions, that's the vision I had when I created [Fairy Tail] with my friends."

"That's an impressive vision for someone so young" - Lucoa smiled as Mavis only blushed.

"Th-Thanks, I guess" - muttered Mavis as her eyes widened in surprise - "Wait, I'm much older than you!"

"I doubt it, I'm over 4000 years old" - replied Lucoa with an even bigger grin - "I honestly don't remember many things from my past."

"Impossible, you can't be that old!" - Mavis exclaimed, although she started sweating when she felt the change in the woman's aura.

"Ara? Did you call me old?" - asked Lucoa as her eyes widened with a dark aura around her - "Allow me to disagree, I'm a dragon in the prime of her life, I'm not old enough to be considered an old woman yet, am I?"

Lucoa began to look around as those present nodded hurriedly, after all, they didn't want to face Lucoa, not when his aura was extremely frightening.

"I-I'm sorry!" - Mavis shouted with tears in her eyes as she now regretted saying something without thinking about the consequences.

"And that's the test" - said Makarov as he looked at the teams he had organized.

The first one, was Natsu with Happy.

The second, was Gray with Loke, who had agreed after the black-haired boy had called in some favors he owed him.

The third, Juvia with Lissana, the water mage had asked her for this favor because among the girls, she was the only one who did not show attraction for Kurama.

The fourth was Elfman and Levy. The young blue-haired mage, had been chosen for the test, but after some thought she decided to withdraw, although when Elfman asked her for the favor, since Lissana was going to participate with Juvia, she accepted, after all, she knew her teammate for many years.

The fifth team, was Kana and Lucy, being the most surprising team because no one expected Kana to invite the celestial mage. Lucy was grateful, although she still felt inferior to the others.

The other participants had decided to abstain from entering the competition for different reasons, but what they didn't know, was that things were about to get serious, because a certain black dragon was getting dangerously close to the island.
