"Are you okay, Izumi-san?" - Kagome asked as she walked to her friend, who was the kindest and most loving girl a person could ever meet.
"Yes" - nodded Izumi as she gave her friend a small smile - "Everything's fine..."
"Leaving that aside, I guess we all here have a common enemy" - said Miroku, who could feel how the atmosphere was starting to become heavy - "That's why I want to put an idea on the table."
"An idea?" - Kagome repeated as she raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, as I said before, there is strength in numbers, and everyone here has the same enemy, that's why I want to propose that we travel together, so we can solve our problems" - replied Miroku with a huge smile - "Don't you think that's an excellent idea?"
"Honestly, it's a good idea, although there is a problem, I don't think I can let my guard down with a pervert so close to me" - said Sango while shaking her head.
"Oh, that hurts, young lady" - Miroku said with a small laugh - "Relax, I know how to control myself, besides, ending my curse is much more important than carnal pleasure"
"So you say, but I can feel your gaze on my curves" - replied Sango with disdain.
"It's because I know how to appreciate the feminine beauty" - Miroku said as he shrugged - "More so with so many beautiful women in this group"
Inuyasha's eyebrow twitched slightly before he shook his head.
"Well, leaving aside the stupid things coming out of the monk's mouth, he's right" - Yura said while frowning - "If we are more people, we can cover more ground, not to mention we can defend ourselves better."
Sango was silent before looking at her younger brother and nodding - "I understand your point."
"So... We're a team?" - Miroku asked as he folded his arms.
"Yes, but don't come near me or the curse won't be the thing that kills you" - Sango growled as she told her younger brother to follow her - "We'll meet at this gate tomorrow."
"Wait, I'm coming with you" - Izumi said as she gave Inuyasha one last look before leaving.
"Well, I guess I'll go enjoy the wonders this village has to offer" - Miroku said as he whistled to call his companion.
"What's wrong, Miroku-sama?" - Hachi asked seriously.
"I want you to go to the inn and get us a room, I'm going in two or three hours" - Miroku said as he laughed lightly.
"What will we do?" - Kagome asked as she ignored the monk's perverted laughter.
"I think the best thing we can do, is to get the necessary supplies and go to the inn, so we can have a good rest" - replied Yura while cocking her head to the side.
"You guys go, I'll be waiting here" - Inuyasha said as he let out a sigh and walked towards a nearby forest, so he could train.
"I'm going to check the area to prevent trouble, then I'll meet you at the inn, Kagome" - Yura replied as she prepared to retreat, though her expression changed when she felt a wind current appear in the place - "This presence..."
"Yura-san?" - Kagome asked in surprise.
"Kagome, Yura Onee-chan!" - exclaimed a voice they both recognized immediately.
"Shippo-chan!" - Kagome exclaimed with a smile at the sight of the little Kitsune - "Wait, what are you doing here?"
"Kurama-sama told me that I could travel with you again, so I could continue my training" - Shippo replied as he puffed out his small chest proudly - "He also sent me to give this to you along with this note"
"I see" - nodded Kagome as she watched Yura take the note and try to read it - "What's wrong, Yura-san?"
"I don't understand anything" - Yura said with a frown - "I can more or less understand a few words, but the message feels complete to me"
"Kurama-sama said he used the language of the future, that's why it's so strange" - Shippo replied while wiggling his little nose.
"Let's see, let me try it myself" - smiled Kagome as she took the sheet - "Let's see, it says here that these clothes have a seal that makes them more resistant and don't get dirty... Wow, this really is good!"
Kagome smiled happily as she saw that her new clothes were better than she thought, though she quickly continued reading because the note still wasn't finished - "There's also a talisman that creates a barrier that blocks outside vision, which I can use to change clothes without fear of being seen by perverts... Thank you, Kurama-san!"
The girl from the future quickly picked Shippo up and set him down at a safe distance before placing the talisman on the ground.
Little Shippo was surprised to see how a strange barrier covered Kagome's body - "Are you okay, Kagome?"
"Yes, Shippo-chan" - Kagome replied calmly - "This barrier is, so I can change my clothes without fear of perverts."
"Oh, I understand," Shippo nodded as he sat on the floor and waited for the girl from the future to finish, which didn't take long because the barrier disappeared after a few minutes.
"How do I look, Shippo-chan?" - Kagome, who was now wearing traditional priestess clothing, asked.
"You look good, Kagome" - smiled Shippo as he looked around the girl - "And are those clothes comfortable?"
"Yes, there was another note inside the hakama that said my clothes were warm in cold climates, and vice versa" - Kagome answered proudly - "There are other functions, but the note said I had to find them out for myself."
"That doesn't make sense" - Shippo said as he folded his arms.
"I know" - sighed Kagome as she shook her head - "Anyway, in these clothes I don't think people will look at me like I'm a whore."
"I guess now I won't be afraid to leave you alone while I investigate the surroundings" - Yura said as she nodded at the girl's new appearance - "Please take care of Kagome, Shippo-chan."
"You can count on me!" - Shippo exclaimed as he pounded his chest with his small hands - "I've trained to be as strong as possible!"
"Thank you" - nodded Yura as she disappeared from the place.
"Come on, Shippo-chan" - smiled Kagome as the two went to the inn.

"They found each other faster than I thought" - Kurama muttered with a frown, though his expression changed when he felt something strange outside his room - "You can come in, you don't need to hide."
The door slowly opened, revealing Ayame, who had red eyes from tears.
"Kurama-san..." - Ayame muttered as she bit her lip.
"What's wrong?" - Kurama asked with a frown.
"I want to ask you a question..." - Ayame said as she took a long sigh before looking the Kitsune Daiyokai straight in the eyes.
"Shoot" - nodded Kurama calmly.
"Can you revive Koga?" - Ayame asked as she felt her heart beating at high speed.
"Revive him?" - Kurama repeated in surprise before frowning - "Why do you ask?"
"Can you do it?" - Ayame asked as she felt her body tremble - "My grandfather said you could do many things, that's why I'm asking you."
"I can do it, but I don't understand why I should" - replied Kurama as he shook his head.
"!" - Ayame's eyes widened at the silver-haired Kitsune's words - " You can do it..."
"Yes, although I need a few things to accomplish it" - Kurama replied while shaking his head - "The thing is, there are two problems, one, I don't understand why I should revive him, and two, I don't have what it takes to do it."
". . ." - Ayame was silent before taking a long breath - "What do I have to do for you to revive him?"
"Give me a reason to do so" - Kurama replied as he shook his head - "After all, it's none of my business whether that boy is alive or dead."
"I offer you my life in exchange" - Ayame replied as she closed her eyes.
Kurama was silent before letting out a sigh - "Do you really feel it's worth it?"
"That he revives in exchange for my life? Yes, it is worth it" - Ayame replied as she nodded weakly.
"Did you think about what your grandfather will do when he finds out you sacrificed yourself for that guy?" - Kurama asked with a frown - "How will your clan members feel when they find out that you died for someone they honestly don't care about? Do you even think that they will appreciate Koga? Or maybe you think that by knowing that you sacrificed yourself for him, he will start to have feelings for you?"
Ayame was silent, not knowing what to say because she hadn't thought of this - "I-I..."
"Well, at least now you're thinking about it" - Kurama said sarcastically - "Seriously, I know you still have feelings for that boy, but that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice yourself for someone and without thinking about the consequences."
Ayame kept her silence before sighing - "I understand, I'm sorry..."
"You don't have to apologize, I understand the desire to get back someone you lost, although that doesn't mean you have to kill yourself for it" - sighed Kurama as he shook his head - "I'm going to give you a few days to think about it better"
"Ok" - nodded Ayame weakly before retreating silently.
