Extra 19: Change the World (74)

"I didn't expect to see you so soon, daughter" - said Kurama seeing how Izumi was in his office.

"I didn't expect you to be Nurarihyon either, Tousan" - replied Izumi sarcastically.

"I wasn't the one who decided that name, it was my subordinates" - replied Kurama while shaking his head - "Anyway, I want to assume that you came to talk to me".

"Yes, I come for two reasons" - said Izumi while explaining the reason for her visit.

Kurama was silent before nodding - "I see, you want Kagome-san and Inuyasha to come with me to the future so that you can talk to her family and Kikyo respectively."

"Yes, he said that he needed to talk to Kikyo, so he could close that chapter of his life, I think that thought has been going around in his head since he recovered some fragments of his memory with Kikyo even though Ino Kaasan said it was almost impossible for him to recover them" - Izumi answered while shaking her head.

Kurama thought for a moment - "Are you sure?"

"Yes, it's a decision we both made" - Izumi answered as she nodded firmly - "By the way, I haven't seen Kaasan anywhere."

"It's because she's Sojobo, the Tengu of mount Kurama" - said Kurama sarcastically - "Anyway, I agree to travel with them to the future, after all, I have some business to finish too."

"When can we return?" - Izumi asked curiously.

"Hmm, I'd say in a week because I still have some problems to solve" - said Kurama while shrugging his shoulders.

"Ok" - nodded Izumi as she looked at her father.

"Anyway, how was your trip?" - Kurama asked with mild interest.

Izumi quickly recounted everything that had happened during her adventures, which had been much crueler than she thought, not only because of the amount of deaths, but also because of the dangers Naraku had put her family and the people next to her through.

"By the way, if I remember correctly, you said you had fragments of the Shikon pearl the last time I came" - Izumi said seriously.

"That's right" - nodded Kurama - "Do you want them?"

"Honestly, I would prefer that you still keep them, but we are in a serious situation, and we need as many fragments as possible" - Izumi answered seriously.

Kurama raised an eyebrow before getting to thinking - "Ok, I'll hand over all but one of the fragments to you."

"Minus one?" - Izumi asked in surprise.

"Yes, it's better to be safe than sorry" - replied Kurama as he shrugged his shoulders.

"I understand" - nodded Izumi as she extended her hand.

Kurama gave her a blank look before pulling out a vial with the pearl fragments, then taking one out.

"Thank you" - smiled Izumi as she snatched the vial from him before disappearing.

Kurama let out a sigh because it was a bit annoying that she didn't even say goodbye after getting what she wanted.

"My lord, we have news from Tamamo-sama" - a Yokai said as he watched Kurama bang his head against his table - "Nurarihyon-sama?"

"Sorry, I was just a bit exhausted, please continue" - Kurama said as he shook his head.

"Tamamo-sama said that he encountered Naraku and managed to damage him badly, but he managed to escape" - replied the Yokai seriously.

Kurama let out a sigh before grabbing the bridge of his nose and pulling out his communicator.

"What's wrong, Kuro-chan?"

"I heard you hurt Naraku."

"Yeah, he tried to trick me into joining his body, nothing that a few elemental attacks won't fix, mind you, it's strange that he managed to escape so easily."

"Dimensional will is more annoying than we thought" - Kurama replied as he started to think - "Anyway, I'd like you to come back, you've had too much fun already"

"Ok, you're right, I've had enough fun and my subordinate has come back."

"Thank god you didn't make excuses" - Kurama said as he let out a sigh.

"You make me sound like some kind of monster who doesn't know how to take orders."

"Aren't you?" - Kurama asked disdainfully.

Kushina didn't answer, she remained silent before letting out a "Teehee ~".

"How are you, Tsunade?" - Kurama asked as he continued to read the reports his subordinates have been sending him one after another, though this time the contents spoke about how Tsunade was expanding her territory.

"I'm fine, albeit with huge headaches..."

"You mean because of the girls under your command?" - Kurama asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, I actually appreciate you sending me those props to make them look like Onis instead of normal humans, it makes their actions a bit easier."

"Even though those actions are the ones that cause you headaches?" - Kurama asked as he let out a small laugh.

"You wouldn't laugh if you knew what I have to put up with, especially Tayuya, that little bitch is causing more havoc than anyone else, to the point where I think she should be the real Shuten-doji."

"Do you want me to help you a little?" - Kurama asked as he shook his head.

"What do you have planned?"

"And where's the surprise if I tell you over the communicator?" - Kurama asked with a huge grin.

"Ok, I know you won't do anything stupid."

"Thanks for the vote of confidence, I'll come after I finish talking to the others."

"Ok."

With that said, Tsunade cut the call after hearing something breaking along with Tayuya's screams.

"It's good to hear that there's no more trouble at your place" - Kurama said as he let out a sigh upon hearing Mikoto's report.

"Yeah, well, the barrier you put up to prevent idiots from entering has made my job a lot easier, besides, it feels good to be treated like a guardian goddess."

"It's good to hear that you're enjoying your life over there" - Kurama said sarcastically.

"Come on, I know you're enjoying it in your own way too."

"Getting reports and working like I'm a Daimyo after living happily without having to work? I don't know..." - Kurama replied with disdain.

"Ok, later we'll talk."

Kurama let out a sigh before he shook his head and started contacting the last person on his list . "Hello, Kaguya."

"Hello, Kurama... Why did you call me?"

"I think it's about time for you to come back, Shiki is asking for you" - Kurama said seriously.

"Ok, although I would like you to send him to pick me up in the moon carriage."

"Do you really want me to use our clan's transportation for you to keep enjoying your roleplay?" - asked Kurama as he let out a sigh of exasperation.

"Yes..."

"Ok" - muttered Kurama as he grabbed the bridge of his nose.

When he saw that the call had ended, he quickly sent someone to call his youngest son.

"You called me, Chichi-ue?" - Shiki asked, a cute little boy of about 5 years old with silver hair, eyes with blue pupils surrounded by a white and light blue flower-shaped iris. Yes, his youngest son had been blessed with Tenseigan, the second Dojutsu of the Otsutsuki clan and which was on the same level as Rinnegan.

"Yes, I called you because I have a mission for you" - Kurama answered as he walked to his son and stroked his hair, something the boy seemed to enjoy because it brought a smile to his face.

"Really? I thought I would have to continue my training with Hinata Kaasan today" - Shiki replied as he tilted his head to one side.

"That can wait, the mission is more important, besides, this is something you'll like" - Kurama said with a small smile on his lips - "It's about your mother, I want you to go look for her in the moon carriage."

"Really!" - Shiki exclaimed excitedly, after all, he hadn't been able to use the moon carriage, even though his parents had taught him how to ride it.

"Of course, besides, of all of us you're the one who needs it the most!" said Kurama as he snapped his fingers and the two disappeared from his office and reappeared in the courtyard.

"Huh? What are you doing here, Kurama?" - Said Kurotsuki, who had transformed into an Earth Elemental, this is why she had been tasked with maintaining the family's personal garden.

Yes, Kurama had not only taken inspiration from the Japanese Yokai, he had taken advantage of the knowledge he had acquired to make the girls have the species that best suited themselves.

"I was thinking of giving the moon carriage to Shiki-chan" - Kurama replied as he shook his head - "Are you ready?"

"Yes!"- exclaimed Shiki as she watched her father make a beautiful white carriage appear.

Shiki quickly climbed in and sat inside.

"Remember what I told you?" - Kurama asked as he looked at his son from the window.

"Yes, I have to activate the seal with my chakra and check if the central core is charged before flying, because if the chakra is insufficient, then I won't be able to move the moon chariot, and it will stay static in the air" - Shiki answered while following all the instructions his parents had given him. When he finished the preparations, he quickly activated the artifact and made two white horses appear.

Kurama had created this artifact with the Otsutsuki technology, that's why only clan members who had this direct bloodline, could use this chariot.

"Be careful" - said Kurama as he watched the carriage speed off, although he didn't let his son go unprotected, after all, the carriage had a secret security system.
