A hunt for Ancient weapons (4/4)

*Sigh*

Ian sighed for the umpteenth time.

His crew by his side mirrored his expression, which was one of resignation.

Why are they resigned though?

Well, that would be due to them being unable to find the last of the ancient weapons. Which by now they knew was the hardest and practically impossible of the three to find.

Even more so Ian was frustrated at something else.

"What if it was similar to Poseidon, and it would not have been born just yet?" Ian voiced his doubt.

At this time, only he, Robin, and Elene shared this conversation.

The rest just stayed by the side watching silently and talking among themselves.

Don was among them along with Kuzan, as they had already got back. After all, it was now two weeks later since they started their search for Uranus. And don had spent enough time with his family and he came back a much happier man.

And Ian explained to them all about both Poseidon and Pluton. Since with Poseidon they still didn't know how Ian had become the bearer of its will, and with Pluton he told them that it was Libell.

Back to the subject at hand.

Elene shook her head and refused what Ian said.

"I doubt that. Since two of the ancient weapons are available at this era, the third should also be the same." She said her thoughts.

And Ian couldn't help but nod.

Robin also agreed.

"I agree. It doesn't make sense for it to not be available when the other two are. All the current events lead to proving its existence." She said.

"Even old man Ray had said that this era must be the one and that he wished he and Roger were part of it… also don't forget what was written on the stones…" Robin added.

Ian nodded.

"That's true." He also knew that this era must be the one where everything gets resolved, after all, he kept hearing how he is the chosen one and most recently by Pluton herself. And on the stones, it was written that when two weapons appeared in the world, the third was bound to be present too.

But then where was this Uranus weapon?

Ian had a thought.

'It shouldn't be Luffy right?'

****

By the side, the rest of the crew talked.

Stella was playing with Libell on who can hunt more fish via chains with pointed tips like a harpoon.

Since Libell could use the same abilities as the crew, she could obviously copy Stella.

Although Stella wasn't playing with her just like that.

She and the rest had seen how the death of the original pluton had affected her, so they made sure to shower her with love.

The chains were connected to the ship's side while straight above that Stella and Libell sat on the railing.

"Big sis look I caught a big fish!" Libell happily showed her what she caught.

She pulled the chain back and showed a big fish that had a harpoon penetrating through it.

"OHH! Nice catch!" Stella hugged her and rubbed her cheek on hers.

Which made the little girl blush.

"Then let's go put it in the freezer shall we?" Stella grabbed her little hand and told her before they started heading inside the ship. They had already caught a few before and did the same with them.

By the side, Reiju, Don, Kuzan, Akemi and Bert watched this with small smiles on their faces.

"Such a cute little girl…" Reiju muttered.

Akemi was by her side in a second. As she grabbed her hands.

"Right? Right?" She replied with a happy smile.

Reiju didn't shake her away and only smiled at her.

"Honey, settle down your enthusiasm," Bert said with a tired look on his face.

Though he also had a little smile on his face.

"No, no, it's fine," Reiju said easily.

Which somehow made Akemi flash a smile even more brighter than before.

Don who was watching this suddenly said.

"Where would we be going next?" He asked.

Kuzan who heard that pointed at Ian and co by the side.

"Isn't that what they are talking about?" He said.

Reiju nodded her head.

"Yes, indeed. But most likely our destination would either be to find the last ancient weapon, or finally we'll be heading out to Laughtale!" She said.

Kuzan nodded at that.

"Yes, unless Captain Ian has some other plans to do before that, I have to agree with you." He said.

Don took their words and thought for a bit.

"Since there is a war coming, my guess would be that it would still be a while before we head out there." He said.

They nodded at his words. With Akemi saying.

"Yes, I have to agree with you on that!" She said and looked pointedly at Bert.

He understood her cue and nodded.

"Yes, I also agree with you!" He quickly said lest he incurs the wrath of Akemi…

Soon they had to pay attention as Ian called them.

****

"Hey, guys gather around!" Ian called them all.

Once they were all nearby, he started to say.

"We have decided to leave the search for Uranus for now. We can always search for it later." Ian said.

They took a few seconds before they started to say.

"Then does that mean we'll be heading out to Laughtale finally?" Reiju asked.

Suffice to say everyone quietened all of a sudden. Heading out to Laughtale… everyone was super excited for that, there was no need to even ask them as the excitement was visible on their faces.

Ian smiled wryly.

"Not yet. We have just one small step to do before that." He announced.

And even Elene and Robin paid attention this time as he didn't tell them about this.

"We are going to the country of the giants." He said.

Their eyes widened at that.

Meanwhile, Bert, Akemi and don threw smug looks at Kuzan and Reiju.

Much to their annoyance.

"This was a suggestion made by the old man Whitebeard. After all, if we are going to be in the biggest war to date, we have to come prepared! And the country of the giants is the greatest force one can have on their side!" Ian seriously told them.

They nodded their heads.

It was true. Even the world government didn't dare to wake the sleeping giant that is Elbaf.

Having them on their side would indeed be a good thing. The old man Whitebeard had a good idea when he suggested this.

Seeing them all agreeing, Ian then announced.

"Then it's decided. let's set sail, you guys!" he raised his hands in the sky to which the others followed while smiling.

"OHHHHH!" They yelled.
