A meteoric crisis!

Lodestar Island, Ian and co had just made it back towards there.

This was needed since they could only go from it towards one of the coordinates of the four locations on the Poneglyphs.

How did they know this to be 100% correct? Well once they had reach lodestar Island the first time, they had managed to know a lot of things. As will anyone who sets foot on it.

Lodestar Island is the last island in the New World that can be reached by following the Log Pose.

An impressive fact about this island is the fact that no matter what path you took at the start of the grand line, each one will lead you to this very same island in the end.

Essentially each pirate crew that would manage to reach the end of their journey would meet on this island.

Once Ian and co had set foot on this island the first time they had come here, they had found huge murals, and huge texts inscribed on walls that appeared to be made of the same material as the Poneglyphs.

On these walls and murals, they found everything they needed to know. Valuable information that had been preserved for hundreds of years.

They became aware of the Poneglyphs they had to collect to reach Laughtale, which thankfully Ian had done before and collected them all, as such making them now ready to set sail for Laughtale having met all conditions.

But even so, it appeared there were still some hidden conditions, so reaching Laughtale was not that easy.

The murals and texts also talked about who created the Poneglyphs, being the Kozuki family which the crew already knew about. And it also talked about the last island briefly and connecting the way to find it by the four red stones. Since you had to cross all four Poneglyphs to get the location of laughtale.

Ian did remark that this island was extremely hard to reach. Maybe that was the reason that only the Roger pirates managed to reach it in the last 800 years. No one else came even close to that.

Until, this time. The nightmare pirates had achieved this almost impossible feat.

Their log pose didn't catch the next island and point them towards it. It was just how Ian expected things to be so he didn't mind.

Instead, the log pose needles kept spinning with no indication of stopping. As if it was confused on what directed to stop on…

Once the crew were back to the island, they decided to rest for a bit, since it was a while they were sailing, and even before they were searching tirelessly.

"Let's rest for a bit, and maybe eat something…" Ian proposed.

"Rest! Yeah, we need some rest!" Stella was the first to excitedly jump around.

"Fufu, as if you need rest… I think you need more work to tone down your energy actually." Robin from the side had a grin on her face but she hid it behind her hand that she raised.

This was her getting back at Stella since she had said before that a cloth Robin was wearing didn't suit her. But later on, she took it for herself when Robin threw it away. Turns out she just wanted it for herself.

Stella hearing that panicked. She knew that Ian could find her some work to do.

'I don't want toooo… I also want to eat you know…' She gave Robin a pitiful look.

"Big sis, I said I'm sorry, please don't bully me" Tears had already begun to gather at the side of her eyes.

Robin fought hard against this super effective technique, but Reiju and Elene hurried along to hug her and calm her down.

While they were talking they had already embarked on the island and found a nice place to set up their things.

Bert as usual, the expert on anything cooking, made a campfire and got to his expertise.

Ian brought various foods from his rings, but the main dish was still left for Aokiji and Don.

The crew settled way ago about his. They decided that the food they'll cook will always be caught at the time. Although the ring preserves things as if they were new, they still wanted to, and Ian didn't disagree, he didn't lose anything.

Akemi helped Bert around, while Reiju joined Elene and Robin in teasing Stella.

And after a while, Aokiji and Don brought various types of fish and forest animals.

Things were joyful as Bert began to cook their food while they chatted among themselves.

Soon a good smell started to fill the place. And just as everyone started to get excited about eating, something unexpected happened.

Ian vanished from his place, appearing soon on a nearby hill and looking at the sky with a nervous look.

Two seconds later the crew also started sweating as they perceived what was happening.

A huge meteor, a couple of times the size of the large island they were on, was descending towards them at a very fast speed.

And in a few seconds, it would reach them. This did not leave them enough time to teleport away.

A few minutes earlier.

In an unknown place.

The sky was a dark red. No vegetation was visible, and the ground was extremely barren and dried up as if it hadn't rained in forever.

As far as the eye would see, nothing was visible, the only thing noteworthy, is a huge weirdly shaped mountain with its top blended among the clouds. And from the base of this mountain, huge roots that also appeared to be dried up were penetrating through the ground in various places…

Soon two red circles appeared glowing among the clouds.

Not a word was spoken. And not a single sound was heard for a few seconds.

But soon, a mountain directly on the line of the eyes started to break.

A huge chunk was split before another nearby mountain also started to break.

This repeated a few times, and each time a new mountain would break until suddenly it stopped with those broken parts being suspended in the sky.

Following that, they started to gather around and compress, until they had formed a huge meteor form.

The next thing that happened was the meteor speeding away amidst a sonic boom, and just when it was about to collide with another mountain, a portal opened, through the meteor passed through, not losing its speed.

Soon after, the two crimson glowing orbs shut down, leaving the place looking unremarkable once more.

This was how Ian found himself in a tight situation.

Aokiji, Elene, and Ian stood together. They were the three strongest among them

But even Ian, who is the strongest one there, found this attack to be dangerous.

He felt that if the attack landed they will all die.

Ian didn't waste any more precious time.

"Fall back, you can't stop this. Leave it to me." Ian ordered with a serious voice.

His crew didn't get agree. If the 'Ian' they know said so, then this thing coming at them was impossible for them. They fell back just like he said.

Ian knew this was not the time to play around, as such, he directly entered his Raijin form.
