I Did Well

Once Feng Xuan's phone was back in the real world—the one with the reception—she immediately called Qing Chen and told him of her success at Aunt Chunhua. Qing Chen replied to her in a calm reasonable voice.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yes!" she said and pressed harder on the gas. "I'm certain. She's keeping something. I tried to get access of the people who visited her but apparently none of those were in the computers and Qing Lok would not be able to hack in their system to get it. But there are cameras. He can work with that, right?"

"Yes, of course," Qing Chen answered. "You're heading straight home?"

"Yep, I'll be there in…" she looked at her GPS. "Less than forty minutes?"

"Alright, I love you."

"I love you," she replied with her heart feeling lighter. Qing Chen must think that she was delusional. Feng Xuan was actually getting the same idea about herself.
