Here We Go Again...Again

After the person heard all this they quickly shut up and left the crowd to go find a "safe" place they could ride out the incoming hoard, as they decided that William was an entitled prick who would get them all killed.

Seeing that the person had left William just sighed and turned around to start walking towards the vault. Seeing that nobody followed him except Ban, Daniel started to limp after him as fast as his battered body could go...

By the time that Daniel managed to catch up with William he had already started breaking down the wall, but he wasn't getting very far. Each strike of the hammer on the wall just made a small crack and nothing more, yet even so William just kept striking it over and over again. After a few strikes he noticed that Daniel was slumped nearby on a few wooden pallets.

"Why did you follow me, I doubt you're going to be helping me break through this wall. For one you're too beat up and even if you weren't it isn't in your nature to help other people for free."

"Hehe...yeah, but being here with you is probably safer than being over there with them, they don't exactly like you surprisingly enough. Besides, somebody's going to have to help you or all of us are going to die, and obviously I don't want to die just yet so here I am. So what do you need me to do?" he says while staggering up onto his feet.

"If you really then find as many pallets as you can, break them into wooden planks and start making a wall. I don't trust anyone here, especially you but as long as I can see you then I'll be happy for the extra pair of hands."

"Wait...isn't Jack's group supposed to be working on the wall? Why are we making two if there's only going to be one hole?"

"The wall that you are going to make isn't for the hole, it's for the hole we are going to have to make to get out of the vault when the hoard eventually leaves. Obviously everyone isn't going to want to leave so we need multiple ways out incase anything goes...wrong if you know what I mean, the only reason I'm telling you is that I know just how slimy you are and that you would use any trick or underhanded thing if it meant you came out on top. I don't trust anyone and by now I might have made a few enemies so having a backup plan is always a good idea, is that a good enough reason?"

"Umm yeah I guess that's good enough...I'll get started on the wall then, but are we even going to be able to get through the wall? It looks pretty sturdy and you haven't exactly done any real damage to it yet." after saying that he gestures at the wall which only has cracks in it.

William ignores him and starts hitting the wall again, Daniel tries to talk to him again but each time he starts William just hits the wall louder silencing him. It gets to the point that Daniel has to shout to have a chance of William hearing him.

"Ok then...I'll start with the wall then!!" Before heading off to look for more pallets and something to break them with.

While all this is going on at the shopping centre, our mystery girl in the school has nearly cleared out most of the rooms on the 2nd floor, she only has a few of the last rooms to go before moving down to the 1st floor, however all the zombies that were following William have surrounded the school as they can hear that she is in there, but can't get inside as they have blocked the door because too many tried to get in at the one time. She hasn't noticed the zombies yet but after she clears the 1st floor she will, the only way to get out is if she kills them all...or dies. Whatever comes first.

After half an hour of striking the wall, William finally breaks through, creating a small hole that he quickly widens until he can safely stick his head in, looking inside of the vault he can see piles of canned food, bags of rice, bottles of water, and even some outdoor equipment and cloths. After another 20 minutes, the hole is now big enough so that people can go through into the vault, instead of calling everyone over and getting them to start heading in, William goes into the vault to check out all the places he hasn't seen yet, he quickly notices one fatal flaw with the vault...Its too small, not by much maybe only by a few people but with all the extra food and equipment taking up so much of the space not everyone will be able to get in.

He then goes back to the crowd, who at this point are all just sitting around because they don't know what to do. He calls for all the guards, Jack and a few others to come help him and tells them on the way back to the vault about the problem. They quickly make a line going from inside the vault to a corner a few meters away from the hole, after a few minutes of carrying stuff out they had cleared enough space so that everyone would fit, although it would be very cramped and everyone would be basically side by side.

By this time the hoard had figured out that everyone was in the shopping centre and it was now surrounded, cracks started to appear on some of the windows because of the sheer number of zombies crushed against them.

They all went back to the rest of the group and told them about the space problem and started to get them all into the vault one by one, as more and more people went in the complaints started to appear about the cramped room. William and his small group paid them no mind and told the rest of the people to hurry up and get inside, they didn't want to until they heard the sound of glass breaking. After that they were all too keen to get inside. The wall was put in place just as the first zombies had arrived, but thankfully it held and none got in. After everyone had settled down a bit William made his way to one of the corners and sat down, he quickly fell asleep. This disturbed the crowd as how could someone go to sleep that easily given the circumstances, however no one did anything about it because they all knew that the guards would protect him if they tried anything...

After a few hours of sleep William was abruptly awoken by the sounds of a fight and the crowd cheering, when he got up he could see two people fighting. One was definitely winning as they had the other person in a headlock and was punching their stomach. William quickly pushed through the crowd and broke them up.

"Are all of you idiots! There are zombies right outside and what do you do? Hold your own fighting arena, the zombies follow sound dumbasses all you have done is keep us here longer, if I see this again I won't be as gentle, even if you aren't the ones fighting. So I suggest that you all get ready for a long stay here because now we get to stay even longer!" After this he goes back to the corner and tries to sleep again but every hour or so another fight breaks out, usually for the stupidest reasons. "He took my space" "She stole my makeup bag" "They stole our food" so in the end he gave up on trying to sleep. After the 5th argument he, he got up went to where the argument was and punched the two offenders, slamming then into the ground. " This is getting ridiculous, if you have anymore problems don't do anything about them. If so you will get a lovely concrete sandwich to eat, if it is actually serious then fine come to me but if it's just shit like this then don't bother." this time instead of going back to sleep he went into deep thought, mainly about how Annabel was doing and how long they would have to be stuck in here before the zombies left, an unknown time later he felt someone shaking his arm. He looked up to see Jack with a very worried and scared look on his face.

"The wall isnt holding, the zombies have started to tear it down and the guards wont shoot because it will make the wall even worse, what do we do?"

"I leave you guys alone for what? 40mins and the zombies are already breaking in. I give up with you people."

"What the hell are you on about?! You have been out for a few hours, nobody had the guts to try and wake you up, everyone is scared of you."

"...oh well then let's go see what we can do about that wall..."

They walk over to the wall, the crowd had managed to clear a space between them and the wall letting all the guards and Jack and William have enough room to move around without having to push past each other. The wall was shaking under the weight of all the zombies and every so often a cracking of wood can be heard as they rip another piece off.

"Ok am I the only person concerned about how they are tearing down the wall? They shouldn't be able to do that, they aren't that smart unless it's just the weight of them cracking it?" Jack asks William.

"We have no idea how smart they are, it hasn't even been a week since this all started and things are continuously changing, look at the super zombies. They definitely were smarter than the average zombie but for all we know they might not be the smartest zombie we will see. Also why did we put up that wall? Didnt I say to put up the wall that Daniel made, its stronger than this one so we wouldn't be having this problem. So now we have a few options, we can either wait until they break down the wall then kill enough of them so we can place Daniel's wall, we can kill them now and break the wall ourselves then replace it, or some of us can go outside and thin them down while you guys get rid of the old wall and replace it. So which are we going to choose?"

"Well obviously the 3rd option is not going to work, who's stupid enough to go out there and I swear to god if you say that you would go I'm going to punch you, so no. We have 2 options and they are basically the same except that one means we wait the other means we strike now. I say we strike now." As Jack said this a few people pushed to the front of the crowd.

"Who gives you two the right to decide what we do, why don't we get a choice? Who made you two the bosses, I don't remember deciding that?!" one of them shouts.

"Well I don't see you giving any advice on what we should do, and all you people have done is fight and make all this worse so no. YOU didn't choose we did, cause we want to get out of this alive." William quickly answers back before anyone else. "So if you have any more problems then you can shove them where the sun don't shine cause no one cares, so guys we doing this now or are we going to wait for an invite? Cause I don't think they are going to invite us."
