Oh Boy Here We Go Again

Confidently walking through the crowd of people was 4 armed guards, if you could call them that. Basically just 4 dudes with some padded clothes and guns, but they were "protecting" the person who William made the comment about, he was a tallish dude, not as tall as William but close so around 5 9, he had dark brown hair that looked like it had been recently gelled, (who in their right mind would worry about their hair at a time like this?!) he was in a grey suit with a black tie and shiny black shoes...

As soon as he saw William, Mr Green and Ban, (dont worry I haven't forgotten Ban) his eyes widened with surprise, but quickly turned to a creepy grin.

"So I see our 2 thieves decided to pay us a visit, what do I owe the pleasure of your delightful visit, are you here to steal more of our food or just to gloat in our faces hmmmmm?"

When the crowd heard about the food they started an uproar immediately and started to shove at each other trying to get to the 3. Seeing this all of the nearby guards quickly ran forward and prevented them from advancing any closer.

"GIVES US OUR FOOD. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT WE'VE BEEN THROUGH. JACK I THOUGHT YOU WERE ONE OF US BUT ALL YOU HAVE DONE IS STEAL FROM US. WHY DONT WE JUST FEED THEM TO THE ZOMBIES, WHAT ARE THEY GOING TI DO ABOUT IT. WE NEED THOSE SUPPLIES. YOU GOT THE SCOUT SQUAD KILLED AND FOR WHAT, SOME FOOD?"

These are some of the things the crowd shouted at them when they realized that they wouldn't be able to get past the guards.

Jack looked at them in horror as he heard about the rest of the scout squad being killed as even though he didn't exactly like everyone who was in it, some of his good friends were there but because they didn't know William, they hadn't taken him up on his offer.

"What the hell are you guys on about, I know William from highschool, he was in me and Daniel's classes. He saved the scout squad from some super zombies and offered us a ride instead of having to walk all the way back, I was the only one who took him up on his offer. What happened to the scout squad, when I left only Rachel and Max had been killed, and he killed the two super zombies so the rest weren't fast enough to catch them?!" he cried out with tears streaming down his face.

When the crowd saw his reaction they were disturbed as they were just going off what Daniel had told them and why the scout squad wasn't coming back.

"Well, technically what you just said isn't entirely true. We never actually saw the super zombies die, all I did was ram them with the quad and they went flying back into the hoard. But if we go by what has already happened and their insane speed, they should be very brittle but they knew to dodge the guns so they might be stronger than we think. I'm sorry that they died, but I gave them a choice and they chose not to take it." William tells everyone in a creepily almost bored voice.

"And another thing, why were the scout squad even out looking for supplies. Your base is a shopping centre for crying out loud, how hard is it to find food?! Unless you already gathered the food, but decided that only you and your precious guards were allowed to eat any. I don't see your guards looking hungry, maybe your making a stockpile for when daddy comes to get you...oh wait small problem, daddy isn't coming I made sure of that when I smashed his skull in." When he realized that Daniel was waiting on his dad, a vicious grin formed on William's face as he remembered one of the many zombies he killed yesterday, who looked suspiciously like him. Daniel's dad was a very influential man and friends with people in high up positions of power so nobody really tried to challenge him, this let Daniel do whatever he wanted as no one wanted to annoy his dad.

"What are you talking about, how could you kill my father when he is with his bodyguards 24/7, even if zombies tried to kill him what are they going to do against guns." The one small problem with what Daniel said is that he hadn't seen the origin zombies, the only ones he saw or heard about were the ones that can be killed easily but were fast.

"Take your pick" this time it was Jack who spoke up, when the 3 were all at school together William never said something that he wasnt 100% sure about so Daniel's father was definitely dead, and he had seen all the different zombies. "It could have been a beginning zombie, super zombie, maybe the guards left to go see their family, maybe they ran out if ammo or maybe they just sucked, either way theres a very definite chance that if William said it. Your fathers dead Daniel, so you basically hold nothing over these people except for the guards who I'm guessing wanted a good word put in to your father so they are also gone." He then turns to the crowd.

"Does anyone know where he kept all the food, I was with the scout squad all of yesterday so I have no clue about what happened here? I'm sure we can find some way to get to it even if its locked...Hey what do we do with Daniel, he has the keys so why dont we just take them off him?"

Jack then walked towards Daniel and when he got close enough, sucker punched him in the face knocking him to the floor. When the guards saw this they look uneasy but didn't move to stop him.

Jack then grabbed Daniel by the tie and held him up, this also choked Daniel and he started spluttering and gasping.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't just kill you know and be done with you, because if it wasn't for you everyone in the scout squad would still be alive!"

"If you kill me....You won't be able to open the door.....I've hidden the key...Incase anyone tried to steal it...you can search me if you want." Daniel manages to rasp out.

Hearing this Jack dropped Daniel and then turns back to the crowd.

"Anyone going to take me up on my offer to get the food back or would you rather starve again today?"

One of the guards steps forward and walks up to Jack before walking off down the store towards the storage area.

"Ummmm I'm going to guess I'm meant to follow him so I'll see you later...I guess." Jack says to William before walking off in the direction the guard went.

William then gives a low whistle, and a few seconds later Ban who was sleeping in the basket on the front if the quad jumps down and walks over to him.

"Go follow those two and if the guard tries anything stop him, ok boy?" before scratching behind his ears and watching Ban follow the two.

William then turns to the crowd to find out what happened to them all and how they ended up here...

Jack follows the guard to the storage area and they come across a massive metal door with a padlock on it.

"This is where all the food has been kept, only Daniel had the key but you heard what he said so theres no real way to get it open, its 3 inches of steel and no easy to reach hinges to unscrew, our best bet is to either find the key which we might never find or break through the walls, but you would need a heavy duty drill or something to do that, so that's probably not going to happen as none of the shops in here sell any of that equipment." As he says this Ban comes trotting up to the two of them and lays between them looking almost bored.

"Huh guess William sent him to keep an eye on us so we don't do anything stupid...hey can you hear that? I swear I can hear something but I have no idea what?"

"Yeah I can hear it too, it reminds me of something but I can't remember what...shit it better not be what I think it is or we are all dead. The last time I heard something like this was when we were being chased by the swarm only.....

As he was telling the guard what the sound was he quickly swore u der his breath and took off running back in the direction he came while still swearing as he went.

"So basically you were running from zombies and saw Daniel and his guards so went to him for safety? Ok that makes." "WE HAVE A VERY BIG PROBLEM, THE SWARMS NEAR BUT THE SOUND WAS WAY LOUDER THAN BEFORE IT MIGHT HAVE DOUBLED OR EVEN TRIPLED IN SIZE WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WE CANT KILL THEM ALL AND IF THEY HAVE EVEN A SINGLE SUPER ZOMBIE WE ARE ALL DEAD!"

"Ok ok ok, Jack calm down and te me what happened while you went looking for the food, your talking way too fast for me to understand. All I managed to get from that was something about zombies and big and if its about what I think it is then all I can say is fuck."

"Ok so basically we went to look at the 'vault' because that's basically what it is, unless we either get the jey or go through one if the walls we are not getting into that. When we heard the sound if something slamming into cars, and the only thing that could make that noise so many times so quickly is the hoard that we ran from, except it was way louder like they had grown massively from then. They sound like they are at the car park."

As the crowd heard this they all started to panic and run around trying to find anyone they knew and look more anything that might help them, some broke into shops, some just stole from people who had found stuff, others just sat on the ground and just waited. William just started walking towards the middle of the shopping centre and went up the escalators until he was at the top floor, he picked up a small chair from one of the outdoor booths that is used for when its sunny and throws it at one of the massive glass windows smashing it. As he climbs out onto the roof of the shopping centre he can see the hoard that Jack was talking about, while it wasn't twice or triple the size of the hoard they had met, it had definitely gotten bigger, maybe about ⅓ more zombies had joined, at the front of the hoard were the two super zombies, 1 was missing an arm and the other was limping but apart from that they were perfectly fine. This greatly disturbed William as not many zombies could survive being hit by the quad and these 2 are the quickest zombies yet, they even knew to dodge bullets and look out for guns. He quickly hurried back inside to tell everyone what he had found out, but when he got there two of the guards were punching Daniel in the stomach and face.

"Hey hey hey what are you doing to him?!" he shouts at them while pushing them off Daniel.

"Why are you defending him, he knows where the key is and that vault is our only hope of surviving this hoard if it's as big as Jack says. Where the hell did you run off to anyway, everyone thinks your so cool yet at the first sign of trouble you run away, tch typical all you 'heros' are the same." He then begins to walk away.

"Ok Everyone That's Enough. Yes the hoard is here but its nowhere near as big as Jack thought, I went onto the roof to check. And wailing on Daniel isn't going to help, if he had the key he would have given it to us cause his life is on the line as well." He turns to Daniel who has managed to prop himself up with his arms.

"So Daniel where did you hide the key, that vault is the only reasonable option we have of getting out if here alive and as I said, your sorry ass is also on the line so unless you WANT to die tell us."

Daniel's cheeks go red and he looks away sheepishly.

"Well you see...the key isn't exactly in the shopping centre, it's in my car...in the car park. It can't be stolen if they can't get into the car, right?"

"You have to be kidding me, you hid it OUTSIDE how was that ever a good idea you idiot. Now how are we supposed to break in...unless, hey does anyone here do demolition or construction work? Or at least knows how to use a sledgehammer, because getting through that wall is now our only option. We also need something to board up the hole with so you guys need to work on tha, if anyone can use a sledgehammer follow me." He then walks over to the quad and picks up the trusty, slightly bloody, sledgehammer and walks towards the vault, but before he can get too far a voice can be heard from the back of the crowd.

"Why should we listen to you, who made you boss of us cause I certainly didn't and no one here did."

"Hmmm I don't know, maybe because I've kill over 200 zombies by now, 2 of which were my girlfriend's parents, seen the hoard 3 times now, know about the 2 super zombies who are leading them and last but not least. I have the sledgehammer, so if you have a problem with that then you can stay out here when the zombies come."
