An Interview

Their trip to St. George ended too soon for Will's taste. Hazel had so much fun pointing out every cool rock or shrub that she saw with that dazzling smile on her face the entire time. And she always read the road markers and plaques giving fun facts about the park that they passed aloud.

Seeing her so excited about something filled him with contentment. He enjoyed every minute spent with her—except perhaps the last half mile or so of the hike to the top of Angels Landing where they had to hold onto a chain to avoid falling off of steep drop offs.

People had died there before and Hazel wasn't all that experienced with hiking. Will was tensed and ready to grab her if necessary the entire time. Ultimately, her thrill about the view was worth his anxiety.
