Camping

Will had been on cloud nine ever since Hazel found out the truth and didn't run away. He was able to work around the worst of her questions about his past without giving away anything about the smuggling ring or how he had set her up so they could meet in Las Vegas.

He didn't like lying to her. Looking back, he felt pretty stupid about his schemes to get her to come with him. Based on everything he had seen the past couple of weeks, she would have come willingly without any trickery involved.

If he had been at least somewhat honest from the start, she might have still been angry but definitely would have come with him anyway. It was water under the bridge now but there was a part of him still waiting for the other shoe to drop.

People like him weren't meant to be this happy. At least that was what everyone else who knew about his darkness ever said.
