Hazel Dixon thought she was putting her troubled past behind her. But when the person she thought she trusted most betrays her, she loses her head and proposes to an entire bar full of strangers. 

Enter Will Sheffield, a charming stranger who decides to take her up on her offer to save her from herself.

Hazel in the Demon's Den

Will was more than a little alarmed finding the love of his life lying outside in the snow by herself when he got home. Even more so when she said she needed to cool off. The only time he had ever seen Hazel get mad was when she was lied to.


She looked so lifeless staring into the fire that he wanted to go out and throttle whoever had made her upset. But she wouldn't tell him who did it.


When she eventually said it was the TV he deflated. He had a fairly good idea what she had seen. That stupid series! Advertisements for it were cropping up everywhere because it was coming out soon.


When she said people were stupid she was referring to the people who were fascinated by serial killers. He was inclined to agree. It really wasn't anything worth paying attention to.


His father was a worthless creep and he was willing to bet all the other sick people out there like him were every bit as worthless. So why were people so blasted interested in them?
