Will wasn't ready for this at all. What if all his preparation wasn't enough? What if he couldn't fake loving this child and it didn't grow up the way Hazel wanted?


Her condition for staying with him was that they would raise Henry properly together. If he couldn't pull that off…No. He couldn't think like that right now. His wife needed him; he had to keep it together.


His foul mood didn't change when he saw how stressed she was. Her composure crumbled the moment she got into the car.


Will tried not to let it get to him but he already resented the kid for causing Hazel so much trouble. Her pregnancy had been somewhat miserable and he hated feeling so helpless. He did everything he could to make her feel better but he couldn't stop her from being uncomfortable completely.
