Five Swords of Disaster

Taking a deep breath, Felix instantly took control of the star-shaped array on the chart as Astral Energy which was around him began entering the brown chart.

Making all the ingredients he prepared start floating the air, Felix quickly began burning them and turned them into liquid after which he started removing the impurities inside them.

"Hmmm… It looks like my worries were all for nothing. This brat has been well prepared."

Looking at the various ingredients that were being refined, Anastasia who herself possessed a Tier 9 Rune which she created after finding the design and ink formula inside some ruins, and even cleaned up after Felix inscribed his first rune could tell that just based on the ingredients he was using the level of the Astral Rune he planned on inscribing was definitely not low in level.

In fact, if not for the fact that she didn't want to believe Felix possessed the design and ink formula for two Tier 9 Runes, Anastasia was sure that the rune Felix was planning on inscribing also belonged to Tier 9.

Soon however she didn't need to think so much because as soon as Felix finished absorbing the Astral Rune Ink and started with the inscription process, she figured out all that she needed to.

Sighing at how Felix just turned even more mysterious in her eyes from attempting to inscribe a second Tier 9 Rune, Anastasia made a few hands signs and laid down a second concealing formation around the room Felix was using because the one he was using was a low-level one which only attempted to provide privacy to the couples that go there to have sex.

As for trying to hide what was happening from the eyes of genuine experts, the array would do nothing more than squat.

Placing a second and then a third concealing formation back to back, Anastasi felt that she should be even more careful the next time because things might not be as simple as this time.

After all, unlike yesterday where Felix only caused a small reaction even after he finished inscribing the True Dragon Rune, today Felix was already creating a huge commotion despite having just started.

Absorbing Spirit Energy from thousands of miles around him in just an instant, Felix caused Anastasia to wonder if there was something like a Tier 10 Rune in this world.

Looking through the formations she had laid, Anastasi found that she herself couldn't believe what she was seeing.

Inside the room, the Spirit Energy was now so thick that the image of sword floating behind Felix looked as if it was made of some metal that was white in colour.

At the same time, the pressure that was coming out of the sword which had obviously not yet formed completely was causing Anastasi's hair to rise and stand at their end.

Similarly, it might be her imagination, but… was Felix's hair dancing in slow motion?

At the same time in the 9th Dimension which had yet to calm down from the chaos it was plunged into by Felix by causing the True Dragon's image to shine in the night sky, the night sky once again lit up due to another Tier 9 Rune being inscribed.

In the beginning, many people didn't think much about this since out of the 81 Tier 9 Runes, there were a few weak and useless ones which couldn't even compare to some special Tier 8 Runes, and the image which was shining right now was something that not many in the younger generation could recognise.

However, soon everyone discovered how wrong they were and also the reason why no one seemed to know about this rune despite it being an infamous one.

Turns out that due to both how strong it was and how long it had been since someone managed to inscribe this particular rune, almost everyone forgot about it.

Luckily, those few wise ones immediately figured out and what it was and only spoke four words allowing everyone else to more or less guess what the rune was.

"A Sword of Disaster."

Unfortunately, even then there were quite a few who didn't manage to understand what was happening.

"Can you please explain a little more senior?"

"Aiii… You young ones should read more and not just run around after women and fame."

Sighing loudly, the knowledgeable old man began explaining to the juniors.

"Out of the 81 Tier 9 Runes, there are five special sword runes known as the Five Swords of Disaster."

"This is because by possessing just one of these runes, you are nothing less than a walking disaster that no one would dare provoke."

"Ahhh! I remember now!"

Feeling enlightened, almost everyone began remembering the younger days during which they spent learning about the various Tier 9 Runes there were in hopes of inscribing every single one of their Nascent Souls with Tie 9 Runes.

"One sword to control time, and one sword to turn the world upside down."

"One sword to burn the world, and one sword to freeze it."

"And one final sword to become a god."

Recalling those words which made everyone who heard of them dream about becoming a sword cultivator, everyone looked up in excitement to see which of the Five Swords of Disaster was being inscribed and that too less than a day after the True Dragon Rune had been inscribed.
